The IInspiration leave TNA after dropping the titles on iMPACT

The IInspiration, the team formed by Cassie Lee and Jess McKay, is officially on the starting line of TNA Wrestling. The duo ended their time in the company after the debut episode of TNA iMPACT on AMC.

According to Fightful Select, Lee and McKay's contracts originally expired last October, even after winning the Knockouts Tag Team Championship! Since then, both had been working under a series of short-term agreements.

In TNA's debut on AMC, The IInspiration lost the women's tag team titles, effectively marking the end of their time in the company. Fightful Select has been able to confirm that the team did not sign new contracts after those temporary agreements and that, although they were open to continuing in TNA, they ultimately chose to end their relationship after this week.

Fightful Select has learned that the duo did not sign new contracts after signing a series of short-term agreements with TNA. As we have been informed, they were willing to stay in TNA, but ultimately decided to leave after this week.

Additionally, Sean Ross Sapp points out that there is external interest in The IInspiration outside of TNA, opening the door to a new destination for the team in the short or medium term. With their departure, TNA loses one of the most recognizable teams in its women's tag team division right at the start of its new television era on AMC.
