As always, we invite you to comment on the article to give your opinion on what happened on the show.
WWE NXT begins on Netflix!
We see a video recap of last week's episode, where Ava announced the future of the NXT Championship.
We move to Ava's office, where she is meeting with several security members. The NXT General Manager is clear that Tony D'Angelo is no longer the person she once knew. He has no friends or family anymore. Now he acts alone and knows he will do it again tonight. That's why she asks them to take extreme precautions and to contact her if they see anything.
Match for the NXT North American Championship

Page traps LeFleur in a headlock. The masked wrestler frees himself, only to be taken down with a shoulder tackle. The Frenchman shows off his agility to escape from Ethan, surprising him with an enzuigiri. Elio applies a scissor hold on Page to throw him out of the ring. LeFleur goes after him to execute a beautifully done hurricanrana, earning the audience's ovation with it. "Oui! Oui!", chant the fans.

The action doesn't stop. Page blocks a running knee strike in one of the corners to catch his opponent, whom he finishes off with an Ego's Edge. 1..2..3.
Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion: Ethan Page
Page celebrates on the entrance ramp when Ricky Saints appears on the scene. An animated "The Absolute" poses next to the North American Champion. "Look at us. Look at us! We are the glue that keeps this place together," says Ricky. "The last time our paths crossed, I made you see reason through punches," a smiling Ethan replies. Saints interrupts him. "You needed me more than I needed you," he says before pointing out that now it's his turn to take the spotlight. Ricky pats him on the thigh, indicating that he has done his job and now deserves a break. Saints heads towards the commentary table as the segment comes to an end.
We see an exclusive video from WWE LFG, where Booker T argues heatedly with Keanu Carver. The WWE Hall of Famer prefers not to comment on it. After that, we see Kam Hedrix recording a clip for the show when something catches his attention. It's Carver, who leaves Shawn Michaels' office while hurling insults at the WWE Hall of Famer.

Winner: Shiloh Hill
Tony D'Angelo storms into the ring to attack both men, applying spinebusters to them. Tony gives a fierce look to the camera before leaving the ring. D'Angelo stops to exchange glances with a stunned Saints before continuing his path.
Sol Ruca approaches Zaria backstage. Sol points out that when she saw an opportunity for the Knockouts World Championship at TNA Genesis, there was only one name in her head: her best friend. "You are the only one who deserves it," says Sol. "Where was my best friend at the end of the match at Genesis?", Zaria asks. Ruca reminds her that she was fighting against The Elegance Brand because she wanted her friend to be able to compete in a fair one-on-one match. Zaria knows it, but her shoulder has suffered a lot in the last two months. And on Saturday, Léi Yǐng Lee hurt it even more. Sol suggests they forget about what happened on Saturday and focus on what they have ahead tonight. "I'm not at 100% right now. If that costs us the match tonight, then don't blame me," says the Australian before leaving.
Tag Team Match
Swipe Right (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) (with Jackson Drake) vs. Chase U (Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors) (with Andre Chase)

Winners: Swipe Right
We move to Ava's office, where Ava is having a phone conversation. As soon as she hangs up, the General Manager informs Robert Stone that the police are on their way. "Maybe it's a bit drastic," says Stone. Ava points out that she's tired of this situation with Tony D'Angelo. "I can't allow this to happen on my show," she says. Lola Vice enters the office, indicating that they need to talk about Izzi Dame, whom she has already defeated before. Ava congratulates her for her appearance at last Saturday's AAA debut. Thea Hail bursts in to admit that Ava was right. Open challenges are very risky. "I learned the lesson and now I'm ready for my rematch," she says. Lola interrupts her, making it clear that the first opportunity for the NXT Women's North American Championship is hers. Thea reminds her that she is the former champion. Ava ends the discussion by informing them that both will have the opportunity on February 3 when they face Izzi Dame in a triple threat for the gold. "Two women to knock out. Even better," says Vice before leaving. And so we reach the end of this segment.
Blake Howard interviews Keanu Carver backstage. Carver makes it clear that he accepted the interview because he was forced to. Blake asks him about his qualifying match next week. "I'm not going to answer any of your questions," Keanu replies. Howard reminds him that the company has taken disciplinary measures against Carver. Upset, he stands up to stop the interview. Keanu tries to take off the microphone. Blake approaches to help him, only to receive a push from the wrestler. "Don't touch me!" he says threateningly before leaving.
Jaida Parker makes her entrance. "Miss Parker!", chant the fans. Parker is happy to be back. Jaida has realized that many things have changed in NXT during her absence. But she remains the same. Jaida has been very aware of what was happening in the brand. She has seen Kendal Grey surprising the world and Lola Vice proving she is a "Latina Heat". Both deserve credit. Not Blake Monroe, who has only demanded that the focus be on her. Jaida points out that during her absence, she promised herself something: that her hard work would speak for her when she returned to NXT. Because that's how standards work. "Standards don't need to speak. Standards are tested. Standards are imposed. And they stand up time and time again. And that's what I represent. I am the standard that refuses to be bent," says Parker. And she achieves it thanks to the support of the fans, whom she hears clearly. However, not everyone thinks the same. There are those who tell her that she's not good enough for NXT, that she doesn't belong in this place. "There are days when I feel like I don't get a break. I feel that every time I take a step forward, someone whispers in my ear that I could do better. Not anymore. Jaida Parker may not catch a break, but she catches eyes. She caught yours. And when she enters a room, I promise you'll feel it, because that room will feel a bit tighter, more claustrophobic. The air will be a bit heavier to breathe. And it won't be because of the dust. It will be because of the pressure. Pressure arises as soon as I walk through that door and show everyone what I'm capable of," she says. Parker makes it clear that she won't let them keep playing with her or give in to her insecurities. "I'm not going to showcase my light just because someone wants to feel safe next to me," she adds before the venue goes dark.
"Put the focus where it should be," says a voice. A spotlight illuminates the balcony, where Blake Monroe is. "The Glamour" points out that Jaida made a serious mistake by interrupting her last week. But she understands. Parker was looking for attention, and what better way than to interrupt her to get it. However, Jaida is just a talker who won't go any further. "You didn't come back to get in Blake Monroe's way," says the Brit. "I think you talk so much because if -and this is a big IF- you stop talking, you'd have to prove something," Parker replies. "All that noise you talk about isn't pressure, because hey, I'm right here, they hear me. After all, who does she have to deal with? Miss?", she asks the fans. "Parker!", they respond in unison. "Goodbye," says a smiling Jaida leaving the microphone on the canvas.
Ava talks with Myles Borne backstage. A smiling Borne points out that this brings him a little closer to the NXT Championship. Elio LeFleur approaches the General Manager to thank her for the opportunity tonight. Ava congratulates him on his performance, pointing out that he shouldn't feel bad about his defeat, as Ethan Page is a double champion for a reason. In addition, LeFleur will have many more opportunities in the future. "Thank you very much. This is just the beginning," says the masked wrestler. "Welcome to NXT," says Myles. Ricky Saints passes by them. Without stopping, "The Absolute" points out that it's time to go out once again to join the commentary table. Borne approaches Ricky to inform him that they will meet in the Ladder Match on February 3 once he defeats Dion Lennox next week. Ethan Page joins the conversation. "All Ego" wonders which version of Myles he will face against the DarkState leader: the one he showed last week, with great initiative? Or maybe the one lacking killer instinct who always loses? Ricky acknowledges it's a good question, but they'll have to wait until next week to find out the answer. With that said, he heads towards the commentary table, where he is desperately needed. "The decision is 100% yours, but I think we both know what you need to do," says Page to Myles before leaving.
