Penta announces that he will deliver the ceremonial sword for Rey de Reyes 2026

Penta has officially announced the news that had been generating excitement in AAA for weeks. The wrestler confirmed that he will be in charge of presenting the ceremonial sword to the winner of Rey de Reyes 2026, a gesture full of symbolism within the company's history.

The announcement was made during the Saturday episode of Lucha Libre AAA on Fox in Latin America and was later shared through a video on social media, where Penta personally explained the significance of the moment.

In his message, Penta recalled his own history within the tournament, highlighting that he himself was the winner of Rey de Reyes in 2016, when he defeated La Parka and Villano IV. A direct reference to his legacy and the importance of this tournament in his career.

Furthermore, it was confirmed that the road to Rey de Reyes will be marked by four four-way matches, the first of which will be between Jack Cartwheel, Aerostar, Apollo Crews, and La Parka next week.
