WWE is celebrating a new episode of Monday Night Raw tonight, this time number 1,705, from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This will be the last show of the red brand before Royal Rumble and will be broadcast live on Netflix. Solowrestling will bring you the results in this news as every week.
Tonight's episode will feature several matches and segments of interest, highlighting a fatal four-way match for an opportunity for the World Tag Team Championships. In addition, Bron Breakker will return after his suspension and AJ Styles will carry out what could be his last appearance on Raw. As always, we invite you to comment on the note to give your opinion on what happened on the show.
WWE Raw on Netflix begins!
We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists at the venue: Stephanie Vaquer, The New Day (with Grayson Waller), and The Vision in full.
AJ Styles is the one to open the show. "The Phenomenal One" greets the fans in the front row as he heads to the ring. AJ Styles poses in one of the corners while enjoying the reception from the audience. His theme music stops playing, but the fans continue to cheer for the wrestler. "Welcome to Monday Night Raw!" he exclaims to start his promo. AJ Styles mentions that someone backstage said that this is the last time he will make this presentation. That person is Gunther, who plans to retire "The Phenomenal One" at Royal Rumble. However, AJ Styles won't let that happen. AJ Styles insists that 2026 will be the year of his retirement. "Don't retire!" chants the audience. "The Phenomenal One" doesn't want to upset them with these words, quite the opposite. He wants to enjoy this last year with them, just as John Cena did in 2025. "There's no reason why 2026 shouldn't be AJ Styles' year", he says. "There are male locker rooms all over the world with wrestlers I'd like to face one last time. I want to be a world champion once again", he says. "I'm not saying Gunther isn't good, I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. What I'm saying is he's not Phenomenal", he adds.
CM Punk interrupts the segment!
CM Punk greets AJ Styles before taking a microphone. "CM Punk, CM Punk!" chants the fans. CM Punk reminds them that he has known AJ Styles for two decades. In this time, they have been friends and enemies, but he has always respected him. That's why he wants to know what he's doing. Why is he putting his career on the line when he still has gas in the tank? "If this doesn't go well for you, it means the career of The Phenomenal One is over. And I like to think that guys like you and me still have a lot of gas in the tank. There are many moments to create in front of these people," he says. "In a selfish way, I've watched your career throughout our friendship and I look at Saturday like: 'wow, man. There's too much at stake'." AJ Styles wonders if CM Punk believes he can't defeat Gunther. CM Punk assures him that's not the case. Everyone saw Gunther tap out a few weeks ago, but in the end, it was the Austrian's hand that was raised. And if that happens again at Royal Rumble, AJ Styles and CM Punk will never face each other one-on-one in WWE. AJ Styles knows what "The Best in the World" means, but he still finds it disrespectful on his part. CM Punk points out that he is rather selfish. "What do you think of this?" asks AJ Styles. "Fight tonight!" chants the fans. "I know I can beat Gunther. And I know I can beat you," says AJ Styles. CM Punk points out that they still have a problem, as if he doesn't beat Gunther on Saturday, he will never be able to prove that he can defeat him. "Well, AJ. I don't know what to do," he says. "Fight tonight!" the fans chant again. AJ Styles suggests that, in case of fighting tonight and defeating CM Punk, he would get a shot at the Heavyweight World Championship, as long as he also defeats Gunther on Saturday and keeps his career. "AJ, Toronto... I won this title on November 1st and said I would be a defending champion. If you and I are going to do this here tonight, it's going to be for the belt", says "The Best in the World". The fans go wild. "Just to recap. Live on Netflix, a Monday night at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto! The Phenomenal One AJ Styles vs. CM Punk for the Heavyweight World Championship! It looks like we have a main event!", exclaims "The Best in the World" before shaking hands with AJ Styles. CM Punk heads back to backstage while AJ Styles celebrates with the fans in the ring.
We see a video recap of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.
Tag Team Match
The Judgment Day (Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, and Liv Morgan) vs. RHIYO (Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY) and Stephanie Vaquer
Roxanne and SKY start the fight. Perez dodges the first attack from the Japanese to respond with a slap. IYO quickly pays her back. Raquel tries to hit SKY from the apron. "The Genius of Sky" dodges her to respond with a punch. Roxy takes advantage of IYO's distraction to surprise her from behind. The women of The Judgment Day take turns hitting SKY.
The Japanese manages to escape from her enemies to give the tag to Vaquer, who enters with everything. "The First" knocks down Liv before applying a legdrop. Stephanie performs a suplex on Morgan. Morgan covers her. 1..2..NO. IYO escapes from Liv to give the tag to Rhea. She unleashes all her fury on Morgan, applying a Razor's Edge to her. Liv lands on Rodriguez.
Rhea blocks a Pop Rox from Perez to then fight with Rodriguez, to whom she applies a diving dropkick. Liv blocks a Riptide to counter with a tornado DDT. 1..2..NO. IYO interrupts the count. The match descends into chaos. Perez gets rid of SKY with a tilt a-whirl facebuster. Stephanie knocks out Roxanne with an Eat the Feet. Raquel surprises Vaquer with a big boot. Liv tries to apply a facebreaker, but the Australian also blocks it. SKY jumps on Liv with a Missile Dropkick, getting her off Ripley. She then executes a Riptide on Perez. 1..2..3.
Winners: RHIYO and Stephanie Vaquer
We see a video recap of last week's main event, where CM Punk retained the Heavyweight World Championship against Finn Bálor.
Finn Bálor approaches CM Punk backstage. The Irishman acknowledges that he has thought a lot about what happened last Monday. "I wanted to be a champion, but things didn't go as planned. And even though I didn't win, you're still part of one of the most memorable nights of my career," he says. Finn remembers that CM Punk raised his arm after the match and acknowledged him. And with all the emotions that overwhelmed him, he forgot to do the same for him. That's why he now wants to thank him. "No. Thank you," CM Punk replies before reminding him that to be "The Best in the World" he must defeat the best. "And I consider you one of them," he says before making it clear that he doesn't give title opportunities to people who haven't earned them. "Think about how you want your legacy to be. Do you want to be a champion? Maybe you should leave The Judgment Day, because you can't be a champion with trash like Dominik Mysterio around you. Do you want another title shot? Win the Rumble and I'll see you in Vegas," he adds before leaving. Finn watches him in silence, nodding his head.
The complete Vision faction makes their entrance. Paul Heyman takes the floor. The fans immediately boo him. "The Oracle" raises his voice to introduce his faction member by member, ending with Bron Breakker. Heyman recalls that the latter is here to meet Adam Pearce. But before that happens, he wants to remind us why we have come to this point. Paul introduces a video where we see the General Manager putting his hands on Bron. Heyman reproaches Pearce for a behavior that is not suitable for a WWE official. Heyman moves on to a second video, where we see Pearce leaving a brass knuckle on the apron. Heyman accuses him of doing it on purpose, allowing Rey Mysterio to pick it up and use it against Austin Theory. With this evidence on the table, Heyman invites the General Manager to enter the ring.
Adam Pearce heads to the ring. Reed and Heyman prevent Breakker from confronting the General Manager. He makes it clear that he is not here to make excuses. On the contrary. Adam apologizes to the entire faction, acknowledging that the situation got out of hand. And that happened in the first place because he put his hands on Bron. That's why he apologizes to Breakker and promises him that it won't happen again. In addition, he announces that Bron's suspension is lifted and that the wrestler will be part of the Royal Rumble men's battle royal. Pearce asks Heyman if he wants something else. "The Oracle" seems satisfied, so he extends his hand to the General Manager. Instead of shaking it, Adam acknowledges that Paul is a great negotiator. That's why he wants to stay one step ahead and announces that Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory will also be in the men's battle royal. Additionally, he is aware that the latter is still upset about what happened last week. He knows that Austin wants to make amends against Rey Mysterio, so tonight he can face the masked man one-on-one. Pearce leaves the ring, at which point Rey Mysterio, Penta, and Dragon Lee make their entrance. Adam shakes hands with the WWE Hall of Famer, thanking him for accepting this match.
Rey Mysterio (with Penta and Dragon Lee) vs. Austin Theory (with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Paul Heyman)
Theory corners Mysterio in one of the corners. The Mexican pushes him, provoking his opponent's fury, who kicks and crushes him against the corner. Rey escapes to ringside. Austin goes after him to hit him. Theory throws him against the public barrier. Austin takes him back inside the ring to trap his left arm in a wristlock. Rey throws several punches to free himself. Mysterio surprises his rival with a hurricanrana. Theory responds with a back elbow.
Austin continues to hit the masked man, applying a painful modified Gutbuster. Theory traps Mysterio in a ground headlock. Rey kicks his opponent to free himself. Mysterio surprises his rival with a back senton, but Theory stops him in mid-air. Austin prepares to execute a powerbomb against one of the posts, but Rey prevents it with a scissors.
The action moves to the opposite side of ringside. Austin drops Mysterio on the metal stairs to turn the situation around. Back in the ring, Theory applies several corner spears on Rey before executing a backbreaker. Austin traps the masked man in a submission hold. The Mexican frees himself, only to receive a Fallaway Slam.
Mysterio recovers to unleash an offensive. Theory stops a springboard from Rey with a right hook. After that, he applies a Spinning Flatliner. 1..2..NO. Austin takes Mysterio to the top of one of the corners. Rey clings to his rival's shoulders to expel him from the ring. Once there, the Mexican throws him against the apron edge. Mysterio takes him back inside the ring with an obvious limp. Lee approaches Rey to check on his condition.
Logan appears on the scene to push Dragon. Penta gets his revenge with a superkick. Bronson joins the fight, only to receive several superkicks. Lee jumps on him. The Australian stops him in mid-air to throw him against the public barrier. Logan makes Penta fall off the apron, at which point Mysterio hits the former with a rope dropkick. Theory takes advantage of the situation to surprise Rey with a stomp in the ropes area. 1..2..3.
Winner: Austin Theory
Bron attacks Penta while assisting Mysterio. Lee tries to stop him, only to eat a One Lucky Punch from Logan. Breakker delivers a spear to Dragon, whom Reed finishes off with a Tsunami. The Vision repeat the move on Penta. The referee tries to protect Mysterio, preventing him from becoming the third victim of the heels. Breakker then decides to apply a second spear to Penta. The Vision remain in the ring as we reach the end of this segment.
Natalya cuts a video promo: "Maxxine, I created you. And you failed. You didn’t fail yourself. You failed me. You’re just like the rest. You think that because you teamed up with a legend you can act like a legend. But that’s not going to happen again. This is a new me. And when I’m done with you, Maxxine, I’m coming for everything. Because Natalya elevates, but Nattie eliminates."
An enraged Raquel Rodriguez looks for Stephanie Vaquer backstage, bothering Bayley with her shouting. The darker version of “The Role Model” confronts the Texan for interrupting her while she’s on the phone. Lyra Valkyria quickly steps in to protect her partner. “You should be glad I’ve got other things to deal with,” says the Texan before continuing her search. “La Primera” surprises her and launches an attack. Both women brawl until several officials step in to break it up.
Byron Saxton interviews Je'Von Evans in the stands area. Saxton asks how he’s doing. Je’Von laments that his match last week ended abruptly, but confirms that his shoulder is fine. Byron asks what’s next for him. Je’Von says there are many goals he wants to achieve in WWE, including main-eventing WrestleMania. But to do that, he has to win the Royal Rumble. With that said, he announces that he will be part of the men’s Royal Rumble match. Evans warns his 29 opponents that they’ll soon realize he is “Bounce.” Byron thanks him for his time to end the interview.
Michael Cole interviewed Gunther before the show. Cole asks the Austrian why he didn’t simply grant AJ Styles a rematch without forcing him to put his career on the line. The Austrian points out that he had nothing to gain by defeating AJ Styles. Now, however, he has the option of taking credit for the retirement of “The Phenomenal One.” Gunther recalls that there are more talents past their time who want to claim moments that now belong to him. Talents like Goldberg and John Cena, from whom he took those moments, and to whom AJ Styles will now be added. Gunther wonders if Cole is like them: another person trying to have his moment. “The funny thing is I could kick that chair and end your career right now. But don’t worry, because on Saturday I want you sitting right there at Royal Rumble. I want to hear you call the match, and I want to hear you say: ‘the career of The Phenomenal AJ Styles is over’”, says the Austrian. He laughs as an uncomfortable Cole looks on. “It’s going to be great. Memorable,” Gunther says as the video comes to an end.
Jey Uso makes his entrance through the crowd. The Samoan yeets with the fans as he heads toward the ring. His theme song ends. Fans ask for an encore. Jey is about to grant their wish, but the arrival of American Made stops him. Jey then heads to the commentary table to take a seat.
We see Adam Pearce talking on the phone. The General Manager assures that he has everything under control before hanging up. Finn Bálor approaches Pearce to express his intention to participate in the men’s Royal Rumble match. However, Adam tells him it won’t be possible, as the match is already full. “Adam, you know it, I know it, and the people know it: no Royal Rumble is complete without Finn Bálor”, says the Irishman. “All I can do is apologize. The Rumble is full,” Pearce replies. Annoyed, Bálor walks away. Finn soon runs into Liv Morgan, who wants to know what’s going on with CM Punk. Liv hopes her partner didn’t believe that “The Best in the World” showed him respect, claiming he only raised his arm to the fans in his hometown like a consolation trophy. Liv also hopes Finn doesn’t listen to the advice to leave The Judgment Day, because this isn’t a faction—it’s their family. “Liv, this isn’t as simple as it seems, okay? So let me figure it out”, Bálor responds before leaving.
We see Scottie Barnes, Toronto Raptors player, sitting in the front row.
Fatal four-way match for a World Tag Team Championship opportunity
Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa) vs. Los Americanos (Bravo and Rayo Americano) vs. American Made (Brutus and Julius Creed) (with Ivy Nile) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) (with Grayson Waller)
Kofi and Bravo start the match. Kofi lands on his feet after taking a Monkey Flip. Now it’s Bravo who lands on his feet after receiving the same move. Los Americanos double-team Kingston, who ends up at ringside. Tozawa gets the tag from Kofi, but soon falls to the offense of American Made. Brutus and Julius clear the ring of all their opponents. Brutus dives onto everyone with a Brutus Bomb.
The Creeds throw Otis into the steel steps. Julius brings Akira back into the ring. Julius and Brutus execute a combined gutbuster on Tozawa. Brutus and Julius take turns punishing the Japanese star. Julius hits a suplex on Tozawa. Rayo tags in to continue the punishment. Rayo applies a powerslam to Akira before locking him in a submission hold.
Los Americanos work perfectly together against Akira. Akira charges with Bravo into The New Day’s corner, where they tag in. Kingston and Woods kick the Japanese wrestler in the corner. Xavier traps Tozawa in a headlock. Kofi hits a legdrop on him. 1..2..NO. Rayo breaks up the count. Akira escapes all his opponents. Bravo tries to apply an Airplane Spin on Brutus, but the Japanese wrestler stops him with a Missile Dropkick. Otis gets the tag.
Otis comes in hot, taking care of all his rivals by himself. Otis hits a Caterpillar + elbowdrop on Julius before covering him. Kofi, Rayo, and Brutus break up the count. Furious, Akira comes to his partner’s aid, clearing the ring and sending everyone to ringside. Akira then dives onto the three teams with three consecutive suicide dives. Tozawa returns to the ring, dodges a Trouble in Paradise from Kofi, and responds with an enzuigiri.
The Japanese wrestler heads to the top turnbuckle. Woods distracts the referee so Grayson can knock Tozawa down. Furious, Otis punches the Australian, sending him to ringside. Waller heads toward the commentary table, where he eats a superkick from Jey Uso. Chaos erupts as The New Day and Los Americanos are thrown out of the ring. The Creed Brothers try to double-team Otis, but he won’t allow it, throwing Julius into his own brother. He then tags in Tozawa, who finishes Julius off with a diving senton. 1..2..3.
Winners: Alpha Academy
Jey steps onto the apron to show his World Tag Team Championship to his future opponents, exchanging fist bumps as a sign of respect.
Jackie Redmond interviews Becky Lynch backstage. The Irishwoman recalls her “monumental” victory over Maxxine Dupri, acknowledging that there may be some controversy due to Natalya’s interference. However, it’s something she can understand, as she’d also be upset if she had to train someone from scratch and they were still nothing. It already happened to her with Lyra Valkyria’s loss. She’s also not worried about Natalya hinting that she’s coming for her and her championship, because to do that she’ll have to win the women’s Royal Rumble match—a match Becky herself will also be competing in. The Kabuki Warriors interrupt the interview. “You’re not going to win the Royal Rumble because nobody is ready for Asuka”, says Kairi Sane. “I’m ready for Asuka. I’ve always been ready for Asuka. I’ve beaten Asuka many times. In fact, we would have won WarGames if it weren’t for you and Asuka,” Becky says before asking Kairi to translate for Asuka. Sane begins translating into Japanese. “I heard you!” Asuka shouts, confronting Lynch. “I’ll see you at Royal Rumble”, says “The Empress of Tomorrow” before leaving. Sane tries to grab Becky’s Intercontinental Championship, but Becky stops her. “KAIRIIII!” Asuka shouts from afar, startling her. “The Pirate Princess” quickly runs to her call. And with that, the segment comes to an end.
Je'Von Evans approaches AJ Styles to wish him luck in his match tonight, hoping to face “The Phenomenal One” on his farewell tour. AJ Styles thanks him and promises they’ll meet in the ring. Evans doesn’t know how to react, so he simply wishes him luck once more before leaving.
Raquel Rodriguez interrupts Byron Saxton in the stands area. The Texan snatches the microphone to send a direct message to Stephanie Vaquer. Rodriguez claims the Chilean has been avoiding her week after week, making excuses not to face her. But she understands why—because Stephanie is afraid. Because never in her career has she faced a woman as dominant as her. Still, nothing will stop her until she gets what she wants: a rematch against Vaquer where she’ll take the Women’s World Championship. “Give me my match, Stephanie! Give me what I want! Give me my rematch! Make the match happen!” she shouts.
Stephanie Vaquer approaches Adam Pearce backstage. “Raquel wants this!” exclaims “La Primera” as she slams her Women’s World Championship. “And I want Raquel. But I don’t want a match. I want a fight”. The General Manager grants it. Next week, she’ll put the gold on the line against the Texan in a Philadelphia Street Fight. “Perfect,” replies a satisfied Stephanie before leaving.
We move to The Vision’s locker room, where all its members are gathered. Logan Paul suggests that they compete at Royal Rumble like a well-oiled machine, all of them working together with a single vision and one goal: Bron Breakker winning the men’s Royal Rumble match. Bronson Reed and Austin Theory agree with him. “You see, gentlemen? That… that is The Vision,” says “The Maverick” as the segment comes to an end.
Once again, we see a teaser starring Oba Femi, this time ending with the Royal Rumble logo, confirming his debut in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
