We are two days away from the celebration of a new edition of Royal Rumble, which will mark the beginning of the Road to WrestleMania 42. As usual, the show will feature the traditional royal battles, where 30 men and 30 women will compete to secure the first two spots in the grand event of WWE

So far, the company has officially confirmed the names of 17 participants in the women's royal battle, leaving 13 spots that could be filled by other female wrestlers, legends, and even NXT talents. In fact, 3 wrestlers from the developmental brand are already in Riyadh, supposedly to be part of the battle.

According to Mike Johnson from PWInsider, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, and Kelani Jordan traveled with the WWE expedition, with company sources expecting them to indeed participate in the match. It is worth noting that the last weekly episode of NXT provided clues about this. In addition to the absence of these three talents, there was also a phone conversation with Ava, the General Manager of the brand, who expressed willingness to lend some of her wrestlers for Saturday's event.

The names of Ruca and Vice had previously been reported by other media outlets, such as Fightful. On the other hand, no media outlet has confirmed yet whether Jacy Jayne is in the Asian country. It is important to note that the NXT Champion was also absent from the last episode of the brand, leading many to speculate about her participation in the upcoming Saturday event.

As usual, rumors will continue to emerge in the coming days. Likewise, WWE is expected to announce more participants for the event. However, this decision is not well-received by many fans, who believe it goes against the very nature of the Royal Rumble. These royal battles have traditionally been characterized by surprises, with the audience eagerly anticipating each entry. Therefore, announcing a large portion of the participants ends up diminishing the excitement of the battles.
