Last night, the third episode of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC took place, which this time was held at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this way, Maclin ends a five-year stage in TNA Wrestling, a period during which he managed to establish himself as one of the most solid talents on the roster. Among his greatest achievements is a reign as IMPACT World Champion, in addition to becoming the first-ever International Champion.
His dismissal comes after his contractual situation with the company has been a subject of debate in recent weeks. Several media outlets reported that Maclin was working with a contract extension, which was set to expire at the end of 2025. Later, PWInsider reported that the wrestler had signed a renewal with the company, which directly contradicts last night's revelation. It is unknown if this dismissal is part of some storyline or if, on the contrary, the wrestler has officially parted ways with the company.
