"It's been a real pleasure, Shawn. I love NXT," Stone replies. "I know it is. That's why I'm naming you the new Interim General Manager of NXT," says HBK. Stone can't quite believe it. "Look, I know this place can be crazy, but in a way, I like it that way, you know?" says Shawn. "Thank you, sir, I won't let you down," says Stone as he shakes his hand. Michaels leaves the office to end the segment.

Izzi celebrates her victory in the ring with Spears and Vance.
We move to the women's locker room, where Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey congratulate Sol Ruca for her great performance at the Royal Rumble. Zaria approaches them. Sinclair and Grey decide to leave them alone. Sol regrets that Zaria couldn't be with her in Arabia. The Australian, however, complains that it's always Ruca who gets opportunities. Sol reminds her that she doesn't decide who gets them and who doesn't. "I got a call and they asked me not to say anything. What would you have done?", asks Sol. "I probably would have done the same. I just need to win tonight for myself. Now it's my turn," says the Australian before leaving.
We see a video recorded before the show. In it, Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors accompany Andre Chase in the infirmary. It seems that the leader of Chase U has jaw problems after Keanu Carver's brutal attack last week. Connors and Dixon step away from Chase to talk. Connors makes it clear that he's tired of waiting for opportunities that never come. Chase was supposed to boost them, but they still don't see results. That's why he decided to take matters into his own hands last week, and he won't apologize for it. Lexis King, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, and Arianna Grace approach them. Lorenzo wonders if what he's hearing is a discussion between teammates, because it brings back memories. King goes straight to Kale to scold him for hindering Connors' desire to make a name for himself. Dixon is surprised that King cares about someone other than himself. That said, he asks Connors if he really wants an opportunity, because they have it right in front of them. Grace asks Kale if he's proposing a tag team match against his teammates. Lorenzo and King approve of the idea, as they can prove something with a victory. "I see a lot of potential projecting in front of me. The question is, which of you two is it?", asks King before leaving with his teammates.
Tony D'Angelo makes his entrance with a new theme song. With a microphone in hand, Tony recalls that it's been seven months since he last addressed the fans. D'Angelo asks the production team to light up the place so he can see the fans. "Tony, Tony!" chant the fans. D'Angelo lists his achievements in NXT, a brand where he had everything. He had friends. He had a family. People he could count on, and who could count on him. And suddenly, it was all taken away from him. And then he had to pick up the pieces.
Tony recalls his life on the streets of Chicago, where he had to learn to survive. That's how he built a team, a family. That implied a responsibility. But then DarkState came and ruined everything. That's when he had to take some time, get away from it all, and reflect on who he is. "I had to remember that I was a national champion. I had to remember what I do best. And that's smashing people's heads against the canvas," he says.
D'Angelo explains that his chaotic return to NXT had a purpose. Leaving bodies lying here and there wasn't just random. It was calculated. "Suddenly, in a business where everyone knows everything, nobody knew anything. And I liked that," he says. Now, everyone wonders what reasons brought him back. And that's something he's going to explain to them. D'Angelo reveals that there are two reasons why he decided to return. The first is DarkState. Tony wants to end it, but not out of revenge, but as a punishment. "You took everything from me. Now I'll take everything from you," he says. "Reason number two... you'll know it when I'm done with DarkState," says D'Angelo to end the promo. Tony gets out of the ring to head backstage. And so we reach the end of this segment.
Shiloh Hill delivers a video promo analyzing his opponents for tonight.
Jasper Troy evaluates the four participants who will be part of the tournament to determine the next challenger for his WWE Speed Championship. Troy doesn't see any of them as a formidable opponent, promising to crush whoever wins the tournament in Atlanta.

Dempsey stops a springboard crossbody from LeFleur to respond with a bridging suplex. 1..2..NO.
Charlie keeps hitting the Frenchman, focusing his offense on his left arm. Dempsey makes the masked man fall on the top rope. LeFleur responds with a big boot, followed by a diving knee strike. Dempsey survives to execute a german suplex hold. 1..2..NO. Charlie surprises Elio with a tilt-a-whirl Rocker Dropper. 1..2..3.
Winner: Elio LeFleur (2:53)
Kelly Kincaid interviews Joe Hendry backstage. The Scotsman acknowledges that he's not at 100% after last week's attack, but he won't let anything stop him from competing in the most important match of his career. Joe recalls that it's been seven months since he held a championship. Besides, he didn't come to NXT to entertain, but to win the top championship. So no matter how many times they knock him down, because he won't stop getting up over and over again until he climbs to the top of the ladder and takes the belt. "I'm going to give the NXT Universe a bigger reason to believe in Joe Hendry. Say his name and he appears: New NXT Champion," says the Scotsman to end the interview.
We see a video recap of the NXT talent's participation in the 2026 Royal Rumble.

The champions try to surprise them, but end up receiving a spear in parallel. Ruca carries M on her shoulders while Sol runs to one of the corners, ready to finish Heather with the Sol Snatcher.
Ash reacts quickly, pulling Heather out of the ring. M, M escapes from the clutches of the Australian to push her, causing her to accidentally receive the Sol Snatcher from her own partner. Personal Concierge distracts the referee (Victoria D'Errico) so Ash can pull Ruca out of the ring and then throw her against the metal stairs. Meanwhile, Heather and M finish off Zaria with their combined finisher (Bow And Arrow + Diving Footstomp). 1..2..3.
Winners and STILL Knockouts World Tag Team Champions: THE ELEGANCE BRAND
Daria Rae delivers the championships to M and Heather, who pose with the rest of The Elegance Brand on the entrance ramp.
Ethan Page congratulates The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor) for their attack on Joe Hendry last week. Drake points out that he just wanted to arrive fresh for tonight’s Ladder Match. “All Ego” knows perfectly well why he did it. Baylor asks Page about his issue with Myles Borne. Ethan notes that the former No Quarter Catch Crew member attacked him with his own championship last week. Page laments that Myles refused to listen to his advice, but he no longer cares. He’s done with him. Luckily, there are three promising talents who do listen to his advice. Smokes doesn’t understand how anyone wouldn’t want to take notes from what the longest-reigning WWE Champion currently has to say. Ethan points out that NXT can be an easy road if they use their heads. And that’s exactly what Smokes and Baylor will need next week if they want to defeat Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. On the other hand, Page advises Drake not to rush things tonight. He must pick the perfect moment and capitalize on it. “It’s advice from a double champion to a future double champion”, says “All Ego” before leaving.
We see a video recorded outside the venue before the show. In it, Jaida Parker was interacting with fans when she was suddenly attacked by Blake Monroe. Venue security had to intervene to separate the Brit from her victim.
Tag Team Match
Chase U (Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors) (with Andre Chase) vs. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Lexis King (with Arianna Grace)
Connors surprises Lorenzo with a flying European uppercut right after the bell rings. Uriah follows up with a dropkick. Kale tags himself in to keep control of the match. Dixon takes Lorenzo down with an arm drag. Connors and King argue on the apron. The referee steps in to restore order. Lexis returns to his corner, only to surprise Dixon with a kick to the back while the official is still distracted with Uriah.
Channing drops Kale with a side suplex. Dixon escapes his rivals to tag Connors. He surprises Lexis with a big boot before striking Channing with an enzuigiri. Uriah finishes off “Stacks” with a tornado DDT, only to be surprised by a superkick from Lexis. King taunts and slaps his opponent, who quickly responds in kind.
Connors escapes his opponents. Dixon tags himself in, which annoys Uriah, who exits the ring to catch his breath near the steel steps. Kale takes care of both rivals at the same time. Dixon delivers a chop straight to Lexis’ neck. Kale knocks down both opponents before hitting a moonsault on “Stacks”. However, Lorenzo blocks the attack with his legs. Channing tags in Lexis, who immediately strikes Dixon in the back of the neck. King executes The Coronation on Kale and goes for the cover. Andre asks Connors to break up the pin, but his student merely watches from the apron. 1..2..3.
Winners: Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Lexis King
Connors looks on at a defeated Kale, while the victorious King, Lorenzo and Grace celebrate on the entrance ramp. Uriah makes a decision, leaving the ring to walk off with Lexis and his team, leaving Chase U behind.
Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid) make their entrance. Jayne recalls her participation in the Royal Rumble. A moment, on the other hand, that was long overdue for her. And everything was going well: she eliminated Kelani Jordan, the fans chanted her name (because all over the world they know she is the most important piece of this brand). But then Sol Ruca eliminated her from the battle royal. And, as usual, everyone is talking about Sol and her viral moments in the Rumble, ignoring the fact that the woman whose back carries the weight of NXT is named Jacy Jayne. But she doesn’t care. “It’s fine, Sol. IT’S FINE. You can steal my moment, that’s perfectly fine. Because in the end, all I have to do is be the one who silences everyone and kills the hype. That’s why my next opponent for the NXT Championship will be…”, Jayne says before being interrupted.
¡Zaria appears on the scene!
The Australian begins by berating Jayne for sending her teammates after her last week, stating that it wouldn’t be enough to take her out. Besides, Sol has received too many opportunities, so now it’s her turn. Zaria steps into the ring to advise the NXT Champion to worry about her and not Ruca. “Oh, Zaria, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but there’s a reason you don’t get any opportunities. Everyone loves Sol. They just tolerate you. Sol has proven time and time again that she deserves opportunities. You, on the other hand, have done absolutely nothing to deserve them”, says Jacy. Fallon and Lainey step between Zaria and their partner.
¡Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair storm onto the scene!
Kendal reminds Jayne that she needed her two partners to defeat her at New Year’s Evil. And even then, she was close to beating her that night. That’s why she wants another match. “Give her a chance!” chant the fans. “I used to wonder if I was ready. What I wonder now isn’t whether I can beat you and become NXT Champion, it’s whether I’ll do it by three-count or by submission”, says Grey. “Kendal, if you know what’s good for you, you’ll stay out of my way,” says Zaria. Wren states that Grey deserves this opportunity more than the Australian. Zaria, for her part, wants nothing to do with a lackey. Kendal defends her partner, making it clear that they don’t keep secrets from each other. Besides, had they been the ones competing for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships, they wouldn’t have let them slip away.
¡Sol Ruca joins the conversation!
Sol wants everyone to calm down. Ruca is aware that Kendal wants a title opportunity. She wants it too. Even Wren would be thrilled to have that chance. “And they’re still friends, right Zaria?” asks Sol. “Kendal didn’t sneak off to go to the Rumble, Sol,” replies the Australian. Jayne interrupts the conversation to make it clear that she’s only interested in defending the title against one of them, and that is Sol.
Robert Stone appears on the scene with a solution that will solve this problem. The Interim NXT General Manager announces that WrenCQQ will face ZaRuca in a tag team match next week. The woman who scores the victory for her team will become the next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship. A match that will take place in Atlanta in three weeks. Jacy raises the championship in front of her four potential challengers as the segment comes to an end.
Cathy Kelley interviews Kelani Jordan backstage. Kelley asks Jordan why she attacked Lola Vice in the first match of the night. “Kelley, let me ask you a question: How is Lola Vice supposed to knock someone out when I’ve just broken her hand?” replies a smiling Kelani before walking off.
Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair talk backstage with Charlie Dempsey. Grey and Sinclair are excited about the opportunity within their reach. Charlie doesn’t share their joy, as he has been eliminated from the WWE Speed tournament. Lexis King, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Arianna Grace and Uriah Connors approach Dempsey. “Charlie, have you given some time and thought to what we talked about?” asks King. And so we reach the end of this brief segment.

Saints poses in the center of the ring, a moment Joe uses to surprise him. Hendry grabs the ladder to use it as a weapon against his rivals. Joe performs his trademark camera spin, this time with the ladder in his hand. Drake surprises the Scot from behind to take the ladder away. Jackson climbs it, but is soon pushed off by the former TNA World Champion.
Joe throws Drake over the top rope. Jackson lands on the rest of the competitors. Now it’s Hendry who launches himself onto all of them. Joe returns to the ring, ready to climb the ladder, but Keanu stops him. Carver and Joe take turns climbing while striking each other. Keanu ends the exchange by throwing the Scot into the ladder. Meanwhile, at ringside, Shiloh slams Dion into the commentary table.
Back in the ring, Hendry prepares to apply a Freak of Nature on Carver. Drake takes advantage to climb the ladder. Carver breaks free to shove Joe, who crashes into the ladder. As a result, Jackson falls from it. Keanu tries to climb the ladder, but Hendry stops him. Carver charges at the Scot, who dodges, causing his rival to crash into one of the corners.
Joe and Dion climb the ladder from opposite sides. Once at the top, they begin trading punches. Drake pushes the ladder, causing both men to land on the top rope. Jackson climbs the ladder. Ricky grabs one of his legs to pull him down. Saints strikes the WWE Evolve Champion and then starts climbing the ladder himself. However, Legacy stops him.
Sean and Drake briefly team up to deliver a stereo superkick to Saints. Immediately after, Jackson knocks out Legacy with another superkick. Drake clears the ladders to pose in front of the fans. Then, he charges at Sean to attack him, but Sean counters with a standing Spanish Fly!
Hill and Carver struggle over a ladder. Keanu gets hold of it—and snaps it in half! Shiloh charges at Carver, but Carver stops him. Keanu prepares to execute a chokeslam, but Legacy dives onto both men with a suicide dive. Sean attacks everyone in his path. Legacy sets a ladder up in the center of the ring to climb it, but Drake knocks him off.
Jackson and Sean trade blows at the top of the ladder. Meanwhile, Hill approaches them using the broken ladder like two crutches. “Holy Shit!” chant the fans. Shiloh strikes Legacy and Drake, sending both crashing to the mat. Hill tries to reach the championship, but Carver knocks the ladder-crutches away. Hill ends up on Keanu’s shoulders. Dion takes Shiloh out with a springboard clothesline.
Lennox tries to climb the ladder in the center of the ring, but Saints stops him. Dion executes a spinebuster on Ricky, whose back crashes into a ladder bridged in one of the corners. Now Hendry surprises Lennox, delivering a Standing Ovation onto that same ladder. Drake prevents Joe from climbing the central ladder and then knocks him out with a direct kick to the face.
Jackson takes out Legacy with a gutbuster and climbs the ladder. Carver knocks out Ricky before grabbing Drake. Drake sends Keanu out of the ring before launching himself with a corkscrew onto several opponents. “¡NXT, NXT!” chant the fans. Drake returns to the ring to climb the ladder. Sean grabs his leg to stop him. Carver catches Sean and knocks him out with a right hand. Keanu repeats the move on Drake.
Dion and Shiloh team up against Carver, throwing him out of the ring. Lennox and Hill set up a ladder in the center of the ring. Soon, they begin trading strikes, ending with both men knocking each other down with a double clothesline. Shiloh sets up the ladder to climb, but Lennox stops him. Dion pushes the ladder so Hill lands on the ropes. Shiloh gets his revenge at ringside. Meanwhile, Legacy starts climbing the ladder. Hill returns to knock him down.
The fight continues at ringside, where Carver uses a ladder as a weapon. Shiloh stops him with a cannonball. Hill removes his mouthguard to deliver a running knee strike to Keanu. He then crushes him with a ladder. The rest of the competitors join forces to bury Carver under a mountain of ladders. Back inside the ring, Shiloh spins a ladder like a propeller to strike all his rivals.
Hill sets up a ladder, at which point Drake strikes him with another ladder from ringside. Jackson props that ladder on top of Hill’s. Legacy surprises Jackson with a knee strike. The WWE Evolve Champion ends up lying across the propped ladder. Sean launches himself with a springboard 450 Splash! “Holy Shit!” chant the fans. Legacy tries to reach the championship, but Lennox stops him.
Both men trade blows at the top of the ladder. Meanwhile, Shiloh and Jackson do the same on a ladder next to it. Hill and Drake fall to the mat. Lennox takes out Legacy. He then tries to grab the belt, but Joe stops him. Hendry keeps striking Dion, throwing him out of the ring and sending him into one of the ring posts.
Suddenly, Carver escapes his makeshift prison. Keanu strikes Hendry with a ladder before throwing Drake straight into the fans. Carver runs over Shiloh and then charges at Legacy, who crashes through a wall. Keanu goes after a terrified Saints, who tries to reach the belt as fast as possible.
Carver and Ricky trade strikes atop two parallel ladders. Saints pushes Carver’s ladder, causing him to land on another ladder propped on the commentary table. The ladder shatters under Keanu’s fall. Ricky poses, confident in his victory. “The Absolute” turns around, only to come face to face with Hendry.
Joe and Saints trade blows at the top of the ladders. Both cling to the championship belt, refusing to let go. Finally, Hendry shoves the belt into his rival, causing it to smash into “The Absolute’s” face. Saints falls onto a ladder propped on the ropes. Saints remains “crucified” on that ladder, unable to stop Joe from unhooking the belt.
Winner and NEW NXT Champion: JOE HENDRY
Hendry poses with the gold atop the ladder while the rest of his opponents lie scattered around ringside. The fans celebrate the Scot’s victory. And so we reach the end of this week’s episode of NXT.
