After several months of absence and a return marked by external circumstances, Andrade El Idolo already knows where he wants to write the last chapter of his professional career. The Mexican wrestler has left no room for ambiguity and has directly pointed to AEW as the place where he would like to retire.

The statement came spontaneously on social media, during an exchange with a fan who was joking about his comings and goings within the company. Far from avoiding the comment, Andrade decided to respond with total sincerity and make his position clear.

I would like to retire here! I'm not joking. I'm here to contribute to the company and to become one of the greats of AEW.

Andrade was part of AEW between 2021 and 2023 before returning to WWE at the Royal Rumble in 2024. That period was brief and marked by minor rivalries, until in October 2025 he decided to return to All Elite Wrestling. However, his return was not immediate on screen due to issues arising from his non-compete clause with WWE.

After a prolonged legal process and once his contractual situation was clarified, Andrade finally returned to AEW programming. Since then, he has quickly repositioned himself as a relevant figure, fully entering the orbit of the world championship and crossing paths with names like MJF and Kenny Omega.

At 36 years old, Andrade seems to have left behind the stage of uncertainty and constant movements between companies. Now, his discourse points towards stability, commitment, and ambition within AEW, with his sights set not only on the immediate present but also on how he wants to be remembered when the time comes to hang up his boots.
