Jey Uso is one of the most prominent superstars of WWE at the moment. Beloved by many and hated by many others, the performances of the Samoan wrestler do not leave anyone indifferent. His reign as World Heavyweight Champion was heavily criticized for numerous reasons. One of them claimed that Jey does not have what it takes to be a "main eventer," something that the wrestler himself has tried to refute on numerous occasions.
"We keep competing, all of us. Especially with you (Cody Rhodes), I keep competing with you. Come on, man, let's go. I keep competing with you, I keep competing with Seth (Rollins). I look up to the greats. Come on, I consider myself a top-tier guy. And for those on the Internet, it doesn't matter, say what you want...I am that. Now I am 'Main Event' Jey Uso. You know which twin I am now," Jey said in a recent appearance on What Do You Wanna Talk About?
This is not the first time the Samoan wrestler has directly addressed the most critical fans. Just this week, Jey lashed out at them after a wave of discontent spread to social media following Roman Reigns' victory in the Royal Rumble and the excessive presence of Samoans in the men's battle royal.
After losing the World Heavyweight Championship, Jey has returned to the tag team division alongside his brother Jimmy. The Usos wasted no time in capturing the world championships of the division to further expand their accolades as a team. Next week, they will defend the titles against Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa).
