In mid-January, Mercedes Moné announced that she would take a break from the television programming of All Elite Wrestling with the promise of coming back with renewed strength and a clear yet threatening goal: to collect more than just titles. At that time, it was said that "The CEO" could focus on her adventure in the independent scene, something that will become a reality starting next month.

Indeed, Banger Zone Wrestling has just announced that Moné will compete at the BZW APOGEE event on March 14. The show will take place at the Sports Palace of Dreux (Place du Champ de Foire) in Dreux, France. This will be "The CEO's" debut in the Belgian promotion. So far, her opponent has not been announced. It is worth noting that BZW does not have a women's championship.

Moné last competed at AEW Dynamite New Year's Smash, where she lost the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale. That defeat was a tough blow for "The CEO," who had already lost three championships in just one month. This situation led her to make the decision to temporarily leave All Elite Wrestling. It is unknown if the company has plans for her return before March 14.

With her participation in BZW, it is expected that Moné will accept new dates in other promotions in the independent scene. It is worth remembering that the wrestler currently holds eight championships from as many companies around the world, with more than half of them located in Europe.

Below is the list of the nine championships that "The CEO" currently holds.

  • CMLL Women's Championship (Mexico)
  • EWA Women's Championship (Austria)
  • PTW Women's Championship (Poland)
  • BestYa Women's Championship (Italy)
  • BODYSLAM Women's Championship (Denmark)
  • Scottish Women's Championship Discovery Wrestling (Scotland)
  • WPW Women's Championship (Canada)
  • APAC Wrestling Women's Championship (Malaysia)
  • Owen Hart Foundation Women's Championship (trophy not defended)
