Last night a new episode of AEW Dynamite took place at the Pearl Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show featured great matches, including another victory for Andrade El Ídolo, this time against one of the company's heavyweights, Kenny Omega. However, the event did not revolve entirely around wrestling.

Before the main event of the night, which pitted MJF against Brody King in an Eliminator Match, the fans raised their voices against ICE, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency created by President Donald Trump, which has already claimed the lives of two Minneapolis citizens. "Fuck ICE!", the crowd chanted as MJF and King took their positions.

This afternoon, the match referee, Bryce Remsburg, went to his X account to comment on the video of that moment circulating on social media. "It seems the referee waited to ring the bell so these (chants) would last longer. Oh, no. Oops," wrote the official.

The fact that the chants resonated strongly during that match was no coincidence. It is worth noting that Brody King has expressed his rejection of ICE on numerous occasions, even going as far as wearing a shirt with the slogan "Abolish ICE" at AEW Grand Slam Mexico. A decision that AEW did not oppose. Just as last night they allowed Remsburg to let the fans express their strong rejection of the federal agents who have turned Minneapolis upside down.
