Live Report of WWE SmackDown February 6, 2026

WWE SmackDown begins on Netflix!

We see a video recap of Royal Rumble 2026.

We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists at the venue: Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green (with Alba Fyre), Lash Legend (with Nia Jax), Randy Orton, Solo Sikoa (with MFT), and Aleister Black (with Zelina).

Drew McIntyre is the one to open tonight's show. The Scotsman poses on the entrance ramp with the WWE Undisputed Championship when suddenly... Cody Rhodes attacks him from behind!

"The American Nightmare" continues to attack the Scotsman, prompting the arrival of numerous officials and security members, who manage to separate him from his victim. Drew retreats backstage as Cody climbs into the ring, where he asks for a microphone. "Drew McIntyre! Do you think the same thing will happen as always? You just come to the ring, smiling, with the title on your shoulder. Drew, things will never be the same again! You eliminated me from the Royal Rumble, a match in which you weren't even participating! This is on you! It was a self-fulfilling prophecy! For the first time in my career, Drew, I can't in good conscience point to that sign!", he exclaims. Rhodes recalls the segment starring CM Punk and Roman Reigns on WWE Raw. And after that, the first name that came up was "Cody Rhodes", because he is closely related to the grand event. "WrestleMania means to me what I mean to WrestleMania!", he says.

Cody recalls that he was born in this same city. That's why he feels ashamed to return here empty-handed. "Cody, Cody Rhodes!", chant the fans. "My shame, my discomfort at returning here without the championship. Drew, that's your problem. You weren't upset about not being WWE Champion, you were upset because I was. Don't worry, because YOUR shame, MY shame, MY discomfort, will become your own downfall. Drew McIntyre, don't worry about anything, because you're not going to make it to WrestleMania", Rhodes exclaims before tossing the microphone onto the canvas. And so we reach the end of the first segment of the night.

Cathy Kelley interviews Giulia and Kiana James backstage. Kiana promises that tonight they will defeat RHIYO, in what will be the first step for Giulia to become a triple champion. "The Beautiful Madness" responds in Japanese. Kelley asks them about their plans after being eliminated in the Royal Rumble. Kiana points out that that battle is already in the past. Now they must look forward, with the promise that Giulia will win the women's Elimination Chamber match to earn a shot at a world championship at WrestleMania 42. With that said, both women head to the ring.

Nick Aldis confronts Cody Rhodes backstage. The General Manager knows perfectly well that Rhodes wants to get revenge on Drew McIntyre and regain the WWE Undisputed Championship, but there is only one correct way to do it, and that is by winning the Elimination Chamber. Next week he can include him in one of the qualifying matches for the PLE, but only if Cody can control his emotions. Rhodes promises him that he will. Security takes "The American Nightmare" away towards the exit as the segment comes to an end.

The Miz approaches Ilja Dragunov backstage. "I'm going to regain my United States Championship and you better get out of my way NOW", says the Russian. The Miz asks him what he will do if he doesn't obey, hit him? "You see, that's your problem. You think brute force solves everything," says The Miz. Ilja recalls that was the case last week. The Miz points out that sometimes it's more important to use your head. And no one does it better than him in this company. That's why he has spoken with Nick Aldis to cancel the open challenge for tonight. Carmelo Hayes appears on the scene. "When it comes to this title, I'm the one making the decisions", says Hayes. Cathy Kelley interviews Tiffany Stratton backstage. Stratton says her loss at Royal Rumble won’t stop her from focusing on her current goal, which is qualifying for Elimination Chamber to get one step closer to reclaiming the WWE Women’s Championship. Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre interrupt the interview. Green says she’ll be the one making headlines when WrestleMania’s main event arrives. "Chelsea, forget about the headlines. You should be checking the obituaries, because that’s where your name will be when I beat you tonight and your WrestleMania dreams are dead", Tiffany says before walking away.

Bo Dallas delivers a promo from his brother’s rocking chair. "You just… took the light and left us in the dark. Not because you wanted to be alone, but because you’re afraid of being left behind. Afraid of being alone in the dark. So you cling to the light, hoping it’ll keep everyone close, but it won’t. Fear doesn’t show up when everyone’s together. It shows up when you’re completely alone," Bo says, laughing as he ends his promo.

Elimination Chamber qualifying Triple Threat Match
Tiffany Stratton vs. Chelsea Green (with Alba Fyre) vs. Lash Legend (with Nia Jax)

Immediately, Green surprises Tiffany, throwing her into a ring post. The Canadian brings Stratton back into the ring. Tiffany blocks an Unprettier and counters with a Rolling Death Valley Driver. A Prettiest Moonsault Ever ends the match. 1..2..3.

Winner: Tiffany Stratton

Cathy Kelley interviews Randy Orton backstage. Orton doesn’t want to make excuses for his Royal Rumble elimination. What matters now is qualifying for Elimination Chamber, and he plans to use all of his experience to do so. Aleister Black and Zelina interrupt. "We’ve just said goodbye to two of the greatest wrestlers in history, but we’re fortunate to still have you, Randy. At least part of you. I’ll see you out there", the Dutchman says before leaving. Zelina smiles at “The Viper” before following her husband. Orton remains silent, deep in thought.

We see NASCAR drivers Ty Dillon, Zane Smith, and Todd Gilliland sitting in the front row.

Kit Wilson makes his entrance. The Brit introduces himself as one of the hottest talked-about talents lately. He says he watched Royal Rumble—and it disgusted him. "30 sexist pigs… Toxic! Ugly airheads… Toxic! The sweat, the grunting… Toxic! The bad tempers, the tantrums… Toxic! And all these men trying to battle to see who’s the biggest alpha. Well, I’m not surprised they didn’t want me in the match, because I’m a real man, and they can’t handle a man who’s confident in his emotions, a man who hydrates, a man who listens. Have you ever tried it, boys? Give it a shot," he tells the fans. "You can’t handle a man who moves his hips like this," he adds while gyrating. He challenges anyone from last week’s battle royal to face the man redefining masculinity. "Face me one-on-one, because I’m right here! I’m the cure for toxic masculinity! And my name is Kit Wilson!" The lights go out.

Oba Femi appears!

"Oooba, Oooba!" chant the fans as “The Ruler” heads to the ring.

Oba Femi vs. Kit Wilson

Wilson grabs the mic as soon as the bell rings. "I’m a feminist, so let me tell you something. You are the problem! You’re toxic!" he shouts at Femi. Oba shuts him up with a thunderous chop. Wilson retreats to the corner, where he eats three consecutive European uppercuts. Oba launches Kit into the air and finishes him with the Fall From Grace. 1..2..3.

Winner: Oba Femi

R-Truth and Damian Priest watch Oba on a backstage monitor. R-Truth gets emotional watching “The Ruler,” recalling how he eliminated competitor after competitor in the Royal Rumble. "Did he put his hands on you? I’m sorry," R-Truth says as Damian watches silently. Truth says Femi got into the match because, unlike him, his ball was actually drawn from the tumbler. Priest tries to explain how the draw works when Drew McIntyre bumps into R-Truth. Truth demands answers, but Priest steps in. Damian stands face to face with the Scot. "You and I have done this enough times. Looks like you’ve got enough problems. I don’t think you need to add another one", Priest says. Drew raises a finger, ready to respond, but ultimately walks away in silence.

Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring and asks for a microphone, but before he can speak, Jacob Fatu attacks him from behind! Fatu delivers a running hip attack and sends Drew out of the ring with a clothesline. Fatu follows with a suicide dive. “The Samoan Werewolf” continues the assault as security rushes in. Drew manages to grab his title and escape through the crowd. Jacob poses on the commentary table as the segment ends.

After the commercial break, we return backstage to see Nick Aldis scolding Jacob Fatu. Like Cody Rhodes, the Samoan must control his emotions and head home if he wants to be included in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, as a win at the PLE will earn him what he wants: a showdown with Drew McIntyre. Fatu complies, though not before shoving aside the security guards “in his way.”

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Tama Tonga (with Tonga Loa and JC Mateo)

Tama strikes first, whipping the Japanese star into the corner. Shinsuke avoids a corner splash and fires back. Tonga recovers and drops Nakamura with a Flatliner. Shinsuke ends up at ringside. Tama follows to keep the punishment going. Tonga sets Nakamura up on the announce table and drops an elbow drop right to the back of the neck.

Tama brings Nakamura back into the ring and continues the assault, using the ropes until the referee intervenes. JC Mateo takes advantage to land an illegal shot on Shinsuke. Tama plants Nakamura with a DDT. “Let’s go, Shinsuke!” chant the fans. Tonga keeps pounding on Nakamura, locking him in a painful submission.

Tama fires back with elbows and plants Shinsuke with a spinning DDT, followed by a hammerlock facebuster. 1..2..NO. Nakamura answers with an inverted suplex. Tama retreats to ringside. Shinsuke kicks JC Mateo and brings Tama back into the ring.

Nakamura counters Tama and connects with a Michinoku Driver. 1..2..NO. Shinsuke heads to the corner, setting up the Kinshasa. JC Mateo distracts the referee while Tonga Loa grabs Nakamura’s leg. Tama takes advantage, striking Shinsuke from behind and finishing him with a Cut Throat. 1..2..3.

Winner: Tama Tonga

Fraxiom (Axiom and Nathan Frazer) talk backstage with the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin). Both teams seem eager to face each other on SmackDown. Candice LeRae approaches Axiom and Frazer, accusing them of being responsible for Johnny Gargano’s condition. Gargano is shown lying face down on a crate. "That’s not Johnny. That’s a pile of dirty laundry. You’re not fooling anyone," Sabin mocks. Candice says Johnny’s been like this all week and that they don’t know how much the mask they took meant to him. "We don’t know, so please tell us how much it meant to Johnny to lose MY mask", Axiom replies. Nathan suggests leaving Gargano alone and talking to Nick Aldis about what they were discussing with the Guns. Candice begs Shelley and Sabin to talk to Johnny. Sabin refuses, reminding her that Johnny lied to them and cost them the WWE Tag Team Championships. "You want us to talk to him? You’ve lost your mind", Chris says before leaving. Candice pleads with Shelley, but he follows Sabin. LeRae tries to get Johnny to sit up, but he doesn’t respond. And with that, the segment comes to an end.

Cathy Kelley interviews RHIYO backstage. IYO SKY acknowledges that Kiana James and Giulia have been tough opponents, but they are still the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Rhea Ripley reminds everyone that we’re on the Road to WrestleMania, where everyone is playing their own game, but they have no intention of losing their titles. Regarding their Elimination Chamber qualifying matches on WWE Raw, the Australian makes it clear they’ll stay focused on defending their tag team championships, although they wouldn’t mind adding more gold around their waists. Lash Legend and Nia Jax interrupt the interview. Jax complains about Legend’s elimination in her qualifying match, claiming her partner was treated unfairly. Rhea believes they’re just making excuses, which annoys Lash. Legend steps up to Ripley, but Jax holds her back. “The Irresistible Force” tells RHIYO that they wouldn’t be champions if they had faced them. “Is that a challenge?” IYO asks. “It’s a threat,” Legend responds. “You know what? You’ve been avoiding us for far too long. It’s time we talked to Nick Aldis”, Jax says before leaving with her partner. Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan appear on the scene. The members of The Judgment Day look at the champions with wide smiles before continuing on their way.

A battered Kit Wilson approaches Matt Cardona and Apollo Crews backstage. “This is all your fault,” Wilson tells Cardona. “Toxic masculinity was disappearing around here until you showed up like a protein bar,” he adds. Crews laughs. “You’re toxic! I’m not finished with you yet”, Kit says. “I already told you, if you want to step up, I’m always ready,” Matt replies. “Excuse me, guys. I need a hot bath,” the Brit says before walking away. “What’s his problem?” Apollo asks. “No idea,” Cardona answers.

Nick Aldis welcomes the winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan. She makes her entrance accompanied by Raquel Rodriguez. Liv takes a microphone and reminds the fans they’re in the presence of “the greatest Royal Rumble winner of aaaaaaaaaall time.” And not only that—she’s the hottest, smartest, funniest, most charismatic, most talented, and most iconic woman in WWE history. All of that comes with great power, and great power comes with responsibility—namely, the decision she must make. Liv reminds everyone she must choose between facing Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42 or Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship. However, she admits there’s something else she can’t stop thinking about. Something that should be talked about, but isn’t. Morgan looks directly at Raquel, who takes the microphone from her. “I want to address the taboo topic we all know exists”, the Texan says. But before she can continue…

Jade Cargill interrupts the segment!

Jade enters the ring and stands face to face with Morgan. “Liv, I don’t care that you won the Rumble. And I couldn’t care less that you’re on SmackDown tonight. Now let me make this very clear: if you choose me, I’m going to kick your ass at WrestleMania”, she says. “By the way, what the hell are you looking at?” she asks Rodriguez. Liv steps in. “If I were you, I’d watch what I say. Because I could choose Stephanie at WrestleMania and let Raquel be the one who humiliates you and takes your title. And then we’ll both walk out of WrestleMania as champions”, Morgan says before high-fiving the Texan.

Jordynne Grace storms onto the scene!

Grace heads to the ring and congratulates Liv on her Royal Rumble victory. However, if she can get Jade to defend her championship, maybe she’ll be the one facing her in Las Vegas. Morgan laughs, saying Jordynne may be new, but she doesn’t understand how she dares to interrupt her. “I’m the greatest Royal Rumble winner,” Liv says before Cargill shuts her up. All four women argue until Aldis steps in. The General Manager reminds The Judgment Day that anyone who steps into that ring must be ready to fight. Therefore, he announces a tag team match, starting right now.

Tag Team Match
Jordynne Grace and Jade Cargill vs. The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan)

Raquel and Liv attack their opponents while they’re arguing. Jade and Jordynne quickly turn things around, only to resume arguing over who should start. Grace squares off with Raquel. Jordynne ends up near the ropes, where Jade tags herself in. Liv distracts Cargill long enough for Rodriguez to take control.

Morgan tags in and unleashes a flurry of offense on Jade, but Cargill soon fires back. Cargill hits a Fallaway Slam on Liv and crushes her in the corner. Jade approaches Jordynne, who tags herself in. Grace hits a bodyslam on Liv and goes up top, looking for a Vader Bomb, but Morgan grabs her legs and slams her to the mat.

Liv and Raquel take turns wearing Jordynne down. Grace avoids a Vader Bomb from Raquel, but can’t escape Morgan. Liv hits The Three Amigos, but Grace blocks the third suplex and counters with one of her own. Jordynne delivers three consecutive powerslams. 1..2..NO. Raquel breaks it up. Grace sends the Texan away and blocks ObLIVion, but falls to a codebreaker.

Jade tags in and goes for a superkick on Raquel, but Rodriguez dodges and Grace takes the hit. Raquel follows with a big boot. Jade dodges, and Morgan eats it instead. Jade and Raquel square up. Grace returns and shoves Raquel, who collides with Jade, sending her to ringside. Jordynne covers Rodriguez. 1..2..3.

Winners: Jordynne Grace and Jade Cargill

A dejected Sami Zayn is shown walking backstage, receiving encouragement from WWE staff and Rey Fenix. “I know you lost at Royal Rumble, but we were all behind you,” Fenix says. “Sami, you’re a huge inspiration to me and all of us. Don’t give up.” Sami stays silent. Trick Williams shows up to mock Zayn, saying he never finishes the job when it matters—something that won’t happen to him. “He’s Charles Barkley, I’m Michael Jordan”, Trick says. An angry Fenix warns him to stop talking or he’ll teach him a lesson. “Anytime, anywhere,” Williams replies before leaving.

Jade Cargill and Jordynne Grace argue backstage. “I don’t like you!” Jade shouts. Jordynne reminds her she scored the pinfall tonight. “Doesn’t matter what you do—I’m still the WWE Women’s Champion,” Cargill responds. Nick Aldis steps in, announcing that next week “The Storm” will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against “The Juggernaut.” “See you next week,” Grace says with a smile as she walks off.

We see a video recap of the main segment from the latest episode of WWE Raw, where Roman Reigns chose CM Punk as his opponent for WrestleMania 42.

Drew McIntyre climbs onto the commentary table. The Scot says he came to SmackDown to speak and won’t let anything stop him. He believes Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu shouldn’t get Elimination Chamber qualifying matches after attacking him like cowards. He reminds everyone he crushed Sami Zayn’s dreams—because that’s what happens to anyone who faces him. As for Roman Reigns and CM Punk’s confrontation on Raw, Drew doesn’t care what they said about him, because deep down they both know the title he holds is the most important in the company—the same title he won when the world stopped. The same one once held by real men like Bruno Sammartino, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. “If you’re going to lie to yourselves, I’ll look you straight in the eye and call you out as liars”, he says. Drew explains why Roman chose Punk: he had to choose between a battle-ready Scottish beast and a fragile man on the brink of the end of his career. “While you two are out there acting like children, I’ve got entire rosters tearing each other apart for the right to enter that chamber and face the number one champion—the Undisputed Champion, the real Best in the World—in the main event of WrestleMania”, Drew says, ending his promo.

Trick Williams interrupts!

Trick says he came out to watch tonight’s main event and show off his “lemon pepper” shoes. He says Drew is mistaken—he shouldn’t worry about Punk, Cody, Fatu, or Roman. He should worry about the man who will take the Undisputed WWE Championship from him at WrestleMania 42: Trick Williams. “I told you to step up, and you did. But here’s a little advice, kid: walk before you run. Because if you interrupt the champion again, I’ll shove those lemon pepper shoes where the sun doesn’t shine”, Drew fires back before leaving. Trick stands in silence, visibly annoyed.

Solo Sikoa looks for his MFT teammates backstage, but can’t find them. Cathy Kelley tries to interview him, but Solo isn’t interested—he just wants to know where his people are, as production glitches begin caused by The Wyatt Sicks. “All I know is I’m going to Elimination Chamber, and I’m taking everything”, Sikoa says. He grabs Bray Wyatt’s lantern and heads to the ring.

Aleister Black and Zelina are next to make their entrance.

Randy Orton completes the lineup for tonight’s main event. “THEY TALK TO ME!” chant the fans to the tune of “Voices.” Trick Williams watches from commentary.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Triple Threat Match
Randy Orton vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Aleister Black (with Zelina)

All three men go on the attack. Solo ends up at ringside, grabbing Randy by the legs and throwing him into the post. Aleister dives onto Sikoa with a moonsault. Randy tries to slam Black onto the announce table, but Aleister blocks it and counters with a big boot.

The action returns to the ring. Solo strikes Black and keeps Orton from reentering. Aleister fires back, using the ropes to punish Sikoa. Black heads to ringside and slams Orton onto the announce table. He reenters the ring, but Solo is waiting. Sikoa poses to mock “The Viper,” only for Black to attack him from behind.
