Bianca Belair has been out of action for almost ten months, but her name is once again making headlines in anticipation of WrestleMania 42. Although her return to the ring still has no set date, there is a strong belief within WWE that The EST will be present at the biggest event of the year, at least in some capacity.

According to information provided by Ibou from Self Made, Bianca Belair is scheduled to appear at WrestleMania 42 in some capacity. Internal sources later confirmed that Belair is on an internal list with no official return date, although WWE is confident she will be part of WrestleMania weekend.

Belair's medical situation, however, has been much more complex than initially expected. Another source noted that the rehabilitation process has been particularly tough, with multiple complications, to the point of describing it as 'unprecedented'. Despite this, Belair has maintained a positive attitude throughout the process.

The injury occurred at WrestleMania 41 on April 20, 2025, during a triple threat match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. Initially, a recovery time of between eight and twelve weeks was mentioned, but the actual extent of the damage completely changed that prognosis.

At the end of last year, Belair gave a brief update on her physical condition via Instagram, responding to a fan about her injured finger with an image accompanied by the message: 'It's getting fixed'. She also acknowledged that during her time off, she had gained nearly 20 pounds, although she had already lost half of that while working to return in top form.

In a subsequent interview, Bianca Belair explained in more detail why her recovery has taken so long, clarifying that it was not a simple fracture.

I didn't break my finger, I broke the knuckle, the joint. It was in a triple threat match with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY... we fell from the third rope and Rhea landed directly on my hand, crushing everything. Now my body is not reacting as it should. Still, I hope to be able to return to the ring soon.

As of today, Bianca Belair still has no official return date to action, but all signs point to WWE not wanting WrestleMania 42 to pass without the presence of one of its top stars. Although her physical condition remains a mystery, her name is back on the table at the most important time of the calendar.
