In the last few weeks, WWE has promoted several NXT talents to the company's main roster, including Trick Williams, Lash Legend, Je'Von Evans, and Oba Femi. Names that will soon be joined by Sol Ruca, one of the standout female wrestlers in the developmental territory. However, before her promotion, it is likely that her character will undergo some changes, as revealed in the most recent edition of WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select.
"WrestleVotes Radio reports that Sol Ruca is set for a slight character refresh as she prepares to make the leap to WWE's main roster, which will include the introduction of a completely new entrance theme. Several insiders believe that her time in NXT has come to an end and her promotion to the main roster will happen soon," wrote Fightful.
Ruca was signed by WWE in 2022 at just 22 years old with no prior experience in professional wrestling. However, that did not stop her from learning, applying knowledge, and evolving over these four years. An athlete by nature, Sol quickly won over fans with her unique in-ring abilities, including one of the most eye-catching finishers in the company, the Sol Snatcher.
Named the best NXT superstar of 2025, Ruca had her best year with significant achievements, including becoming a double champion and her participation in the WWE Saturday Night's Main Event where John Cena had his final match as a professional wrestler.
Ruca is scheduled to face Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women's Championship next Tuesday on the brand's weekly show. Just a few days later, the wrestler will be in Chicago for the Elimination Chamber event, as recently reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.
