Bianca Belair has not competed since her participation in WrestleMania 41 Sunday. "The EST of WWE" suffered an injury during her title match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley, which inevitably led to a medical leave, causing her subsequent absence from the company's television programming.

The wrestler suffered a complicated fracture in two of her fingers during her match for the Women's World Championship. Despite this, Belair was able to finish the match, which ended up being won by IYO SKY. Since then, she has made occasional appearances on television, and in all of them, she has been seen with her fingers still bandaged.

Almost a year later, Bianca is still not fully recovered, with one finger still not healed. The situation was such that she finally had to undergo surgery earlier this week. This afternoon, the wrestler has taken to her social media to provide an update on her health status and thank everyone who has sent her well wishes in this challenging situation.

"10 months after the injury, 8 months of rehabilitation, 5 doctors later... And FINALLY we are here.
Now I can finally start putting this behind me. Thank you so much, Dr. Desai, for listening to me and fixing me! Fingers and JOINTS are complicated, frustrating, confusing, essential... if you don't understand it... consider yourself lucky and I hope you never have to find out. Maybe someday I'll go into details, but it's a lot. Thanks to those who have sent me so much love and continue to do so," Belair wrote on her Instagram account.

The post also includes some photographs and videos of Belair before and after the operation, as well as very graphic images of her finger during and after the operation. Despite everything, the wrestler is in good spirits, something she will need to cope with the recovery process ahead.
