The road to King of Kings continues to take shape and the next edition of AAA on Fox will include a new qualifying match that could completely alter the tournament landscape.
Son of Dr. Wagner Jr. will face Omos, Ethan Page, and Pimpinela Escarlata in a fatal four-way match whose winner will advance to the final of the event. La Parka and El Grande Americano are already waiting there, having secured their spot in previous weeks.
Wagner Jr.'s presence adds an extra component of tension. The wrestler is in an increasingly personal rivalry with Santos Escobar. After a recent victory, Escobar appeared on screen claiming he was not in Mexico and would face Wagner when he decided. Minutes later, that statement was exposed as a trap when he attacked him in the parking lot.
In addition to the qualifying match, Dragon Lee will return to action against Jack Cartwheel. Lee is coming off being eliminated in another Rey de Reyes qualifying match, where El Grande Americano emerged victorious in a bout that also included Octagon Jr. and Rey Fenix.
