Saturday Night's Main Event will continue to be part of WWE's special programming. After the most recent edition was held in January, the sixth within the same calendar year, the company would already have the next event scheduled on their calendar.
According to information shared by WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, the next edition is expected to take place on May 23. Although the venue has not been officially confirmed yet, Nashville, Tennessee, is one of the options being internally considered.
The timing is not coincidental. The date would place the event just one week before Clash in Italy, making Saturday Night's Main Event a strategic piece in the roadmap towards the European show.
Furthermore, the same report indicates that WWE has plans for up to four editions of the format in 2026. This reinforces the idea that the company aims to solidify the return of this classic TV special as a regular part of their annual offerings.
After a year of trials and six installments in twelve months, everything points to Saturday Night's Main Event having found its definitive place within WWE's new programming structure.
