Megan Morant and Sam Roberts welcome us to the Countdown Show of Vengeance Day.
Sarah Schreiber interviewed Blake Monroe before the show. "The Glamour" assured that Jaida Parker, her opponent tonight, knew exactly what she was doing when she interrupted her a few weeks ago. Because the best way to make people talk about you, to be relevant, is to get close to Blake Monroe. "That's the reality," she said. Monroe stated that Parker talks a lot, but when it comes down to it, she is not able to complete a match without getting suspended. Blake recalled that everyone wants to climb to the top of this business, but to achieve it, you must survive the climb itself. Monroe is aware that NXT fans love Jaida. However, admiration and relevance are not the same. The question now is whether at Vengeance Day Parker will be able to deal with Blake and withstand the pressure of being in the spotlight. "She may think she's untouchable, but when the bell rings and none of that matters, only one thing will matter, and that is if she can survive Blake Monroe", said the British to end the interview.
Blake Howard interviewed Kelani Jordan before the show. Jordan recalled her past with Lola Vice. Both debuted together in NXT, where they shared a lot. In fact, they became very good friends. Lola even shared stories with her that she hasn't told anyone else. However, that relationship ended when Vice kicked her out of the locker room. Jordan assured that Lola is envious of her and all her achievements. Kelani listed her successes in NXT, including winning the TNA Knockouts World Championship. A title that Jacy Jayne and Arianna Grace have also held. However, Vice has not attacked them. Kelani recalled that Lola has also had her chances, winning her first championship in AAA. But, unlike Vice, she didn't need the help of a man (Mr. Iguana) to achieve it. Jordan boasted of being the first woman to defeat Lola by submission. To achieve it, she had to show her intelligence, which is why she shook her enemy's hand. Finally, Kelani remembers her training with Shayna Baszler, a submission expert who has already faced Lola in an Underground Match. Jordan assured that Vice only has a few moves, now more limited due to the condition of her hand. And all while Stand & Deliver is just around the corner with a few spots still available. "I can guarantee you, without a doubt, that The Standout will be the last woman standing at Vengeance Day", said Jordan to end the interview.
We see a promotional video of the rivalry between Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley.
Sarah Schreiber interviewed Lola Vice before the show. Lola acknowledged that Kelani Jordan has gained fame and notoriety, especially since winning the Knockouts World Championship. However, she showed that she was not a loyal woman. She, on the other hand, despite competing in AAA, has never turned her back on her team (NXT). Lola recalled that she has already defeated Jordan in an individual match, something her former friend has never forgiven her for. Vice recalled that Kelani was the first North American Champion in NXT history while she has not yet won a single title in the brand. Lola assured that Jordan is a liar and, she may be a great gymnast, but she knocks people out. In fact, she made a name for herself thanks to it. Kelani believes that damaging her hand is the best strategy to face her in an Underground Match, but she doesn't know what real pain is. "At Vengeance Day, Kelani will enter my world, The Underground. Without pins, without ropes, without jumps. When I knock Kelani out, The Standout won't be able to stand up", she said to end the interview.
We see a promotional video of the rivalry between Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan.
A video summary is shown of the recent breakup between Sol Ruca and Zaria.

Monroe grabs a brick, intending to smash it against her opponent's head, but she prevents it by attacking her with the trash can lid.

Ricky Saints approaches Ethan Page in the locker room to ask him where he was last Tuesday when he was conducting his "Absolute Experience." Because Joe Hendry and Myles Borne not only ruined his segment, but also attacked him. "The Vanity Project were there, but where was my friend Ethan Page? Where was the best American of all?", asks "The Absolute." Page understands perfectly what Ricky is trying to tell him, but wants him to understand that he has just lost a championship he had held for almost a year. "I needed to clear my mind," he says. "Okay, I understand. And where is your mind today?" asks Saints. Ethan is aware that Ricky has an important match. Saints assures that Hendry will use any resource at hand to prevent the former from regaining his belt. "I need to be the face of this brand again. You remember how it feels, right?", asks. Ethan smiles. Page remembers it very well. Ricky is glad to hear that because he needs his friend to help him regain the championship. "I'll be there for you. I promise," says the Canadian. Saints thanks him for that. "Think about this: Me, a two-time NXT Champion and you, a two-time best North American Champion. Thank you," says "The Absolute" before leaving. "Twice," repeats a smiling Page.
We return to the venue's parking lot, where we see the arrival of Tony D'Angelo's yellow car. DarkState as a whole pounce on the driver like beasts, but soon realize that he is not the man they were expecting. This one appears behind them to surprise them with a lever. Tony focuses on Dion Lennox, whom he continues to hit with the lever. D'Angelo charges against his enemy, dropping him on the hood of a car. Tony picks up a beer barrel to throw it at Lennox. He dodges it, causing the barrel to hit the vehicle. The windshield is shattered.
Tony and Dion Lennox resume the fight, taking the action inside the venue. D'Angelo lowers the shutter, preventing the rest of DarkState from following them. Tony and Dion continue to hit each other while destroying everything in their path. Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, and Saquon Shugars find another entrance to reach their companion. As soon as they arrive, they pounce on Tony. Several security members intervene to restore order, but can barely contain the wrestlers. A referee appears on the scene to order D'Angelo and Lennox to head to the ring. Tony gets rid of Shugars and Griffin, only for Dion to kick him. The impact sends D'Angelo against a door, taking the action elsewhere.
D'Angelo catches Lennox to take the conflict back inside the venue, where part of the roster is still present. Osiris, Saquon, and James surprise Tony, whom they immobilize next to a shutter. Dion picks up a lever, but Lucien Price prevents him from using it against his enemy. OTM quickly start a fight with DarkState, forcing the rest of the roster to intervene. Meanwhile, D'Angelo and Lennox take their conflict back inside the venue. Both make their entrance at ringside, breaking a wall near the commentator's table! Dion and Tony stand up to enter the ring, where the referee finally rings the bell.

Tatum heads to the crowd to pose with the title alongside the fans. Everyone celebrates together as the segment comes to an end.
Blake Howard interviews OTM backstage. Bronco Nima wants to make it clear that they did not help Tony D'Angelo tonight. They attacked DarkState because they are tired of a faction overshadowing NXT like dark storm clouds. Nima respects those who deserve it, and the members of DarkState do not fall into that category. They think no one can stop them due to their numerical advantage, but they are wrong, because OTM can do it. "Bronco and I will make sure they know their actions have consequences", says Lucien Price. He makes it clear that the NXT Tag Team Championships are still their goal, but that can wait, because they now have a more important mission: to take down DarkState. "My brother and I are not finished. We do not forgive", says Nima. “It’s time to eat,” adds a threatening Price. Both men leave to end the interview.
Robert Stone is in the center of the ring. The Interim NXT General Manager celebrates the intense show taking place before welcoming the NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne. Fatal Influence enter together. Jacy extends her hand toward Stone, only to pull it away when he tries to shake it. Jayne takes a microphone to address the fans. Jacy reminds everyone that Stand & Deliver is just around the corner and, for another year, she will be there as champion. A year ago she was described as a “transitional champion,” and she is eager to shut everyone up once again.
Jayne knows very well how this business works. Sometimes you’re on top, other times you’re at the bottom. Jacy admits that at times she has feared receiving “that call” (referring to the layoffs that occasionally happen in the developmental brand). But here she is, leading the NXT women's division and one of the most dominant factions in the brand’s history. Jayne assures that this year she will headline Stand & Deliver and fans should not be surprised if next year she competes in the main event of WrestleMania.
Jacy boasts about defeating the fans’ favorite, Sol Ruca, in just six seconds. One week later she had to defend the gold against Zaria. Jayne had the victory in her hands: she knocked out the Australian with a Rolling Encore and only needed to cover her to finish the match… but then Ruca appeared to ruin everything. Stone interrupts Jacy to remind her that they are here to find her a challenger for Stand & Deliver.
Zaria interrupts the promo!
Zaria heads to the ring to make it clear to Jacy that she is delusional if she truly believes she had her beaten in that match. The Australian assures her that she is still champion only because Sol intervened in the fight. Fallon Henley interrupts Zaria to mock her. Henley points out that the Australian threw away her friendship with Ruca because she could not stand her friend’s success. Lainey Reid, meanwhile, wonders when Zaria will stop blaming others. "It's time you start blaming someone else, because the only problem is that whenever you get an opportunity, you fail", says Reid. Zaria calls out Jacy Jayne for always relying on her partners to get her way.
Sol Ruca appears on the scene!
"Alright, alright. Look, all I see are two souls that will be mine very soon," says Sol as she heads toward the ring. Ruca wonders why Jacy insists on claiming she’s at the top, because nobody in that position would feel the need to repeat over and over that she’s the best. "As for you, Zaria. I trusted you, but it seems you’ve forgotten how well I know you. I know your moves, your insecurities, and I know how to break your heart. So yeah, call me selfish or whatever, because you’re not touching that championship, because it’s mine," she says.
Stone interrupts the conversation to make it clear that Jayne deserves to defend her championship. Jacy assures him she doesn’t need it. Stone ignores the champion to announce his decision: in two weeks, on Tuesday, March 17 in Houston, Texas, Jayne will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Sol Ruca and Zaria in a triple threat match. "WHY? WHY?", Jacy asks. Furious, the champion attacks Sol. Lainey and Fallon join their partner while ignoring Zaria. She watches the scene from the background. Suddenly, she approaches Fatal Influence and pulls them away from her former friend. Zaria moves closer to Sol, but Jacy attacks her from behind. The two women begin to brawl. Ruca tries to take advantage of the situation to surprise them with a double Sol Snatcher, but Fallon pulls Jacy away at the last second, causing the finisher to hit only Zaria. Reid knocks out Ruca with a running knee strike. Sol and Zaria remain laid out on the mat while Fatal Influence smile.
We see Charlie Dempsey talking with Tavion Heights backstage. The Birthright (Lexis King, Arianna Grace, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors) approach them. "Time’s up. What’s your answer? Are you with us or against us? Well?" King asks Dempsey. He declines the offer. "You don’t get it, do you? Charlie, you’re one of us," says Lexis. Their parents were champions and sacrificed everything for an industry that is now full of influencers and failed college athletes who take opportunities away from those who deserve them by birthright. "I think it’s time you ask yourself when you’ll stop running from who you really are and accept it," says Lexis before leaving with his partners. Tavion is fed up with The Birthright, so he proposes to Charlie that they join forces to bring NQCC back for one night and defeat King. Dempsey likes the idea and immediately agrees. Charlie removes a patch from his jacket to reveal the names of all the NQCC members. "Yes, sir! It’s official!" exclaims Heights. And that brings us to the end of the segment.
NXT Underground Match
Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan
Both women stare each other down before the fight begins. Lola takes Kelani down and throws several punches. Vice tries to apply a triangle choke, but Jordan breaks free. Vice traps her opponent in a Gojira Clutch. Kelani escapes with an agile movement and targets her opponent’s injured hand. Vice prevents it and throws several kicks. Jordan and Lola struggle near one of the ring posts. Kelani grabs Vice’s hand and slams it against the metal.
Jordan executes a suplex on Vice. Kelani removes the protection from Lola’s hand and crushes it with a knee strike. Kelani continues to punish the injured area. Jordan performs a standing moonsault directly onto Lola’s back. Kelani drags Vice toward a corner to smash her rival’s hand against the post twice. Lola stops her opponent from doing it a third time and instead throws her against that same post.
The action returns to the center of the ring. Lola surprises Jordan with a german suplex. Vice unleashes a flurry of kicks on Kelani. A direct kick to the torso sends Kelani out of the ring. Jordan lands on several NXT talents. Lola goes after her rival, knocking down several talents along the way. Jordan takes advantage of the chaos to drive her opponent into the crowd barricade.
Kelani notices Vice’s father sitting in the front row of the crowd. Jordan confronts him and starts arguing. Kelani brings Lola back into the ring, where she tries to kick her. Vice blocks the attack and shoves her opponent. Jordan spins in the air and lands on her feet on the mat. At that exact moment, Lola knocks her out with a devastating back fist. Jordan collapses on the mat. Vice jumps on her to keep striking, but the referee (Victoria D'Errico) quickly stops her.
Winner by KO: Lola Vice
Lola heads to the crowd to celebrate with her father.
We head backstage, where an upset Jacy Jayne expresses her frustration over Robert Stone’s announcement. Jayne doesn’t understand why the Interim NXT General Manager has dragged her into the rivalry between Sol Ruca and Zaria with her championship on the line. Jacy reminds her partners that in a triple threat match anything goes, and the chances of losing the title are high. Lainey Reid tries to cheer her up. "You’re Jacy Freaking Jayne, the Rockstar of NXT. You’ll find a way," she says. Besides, they’ve already seen what they did to Sol and Zaria. Jacy remains worried about the triple threat. Reid has a solution: next week she’ll take care of Sol Ruca. "And Zaria?" Jacy asks Fallon Henley. She reminds her that she also has a championship to defend, whether it’s against Thea Hail or Wren Sinclair. "Lainey, you have to make sure Sol doesn’t make it to Houston," Jayne says while clutching her championship. And that brings us to the end of the segment.
