Mercedes Moné continues her tour of the independent scene while staying away from the television programming of All Elite Wrestling. After her recent defeats in Mexico and Italy, "The CEO" is already preparing for her next commitments, including a return to RevPro, as announced by the British promotion this afternoon.
Moné will face Alexxis Falcon at the High Stakes event, which will take place on March 21 at The Hangar in Wolverhampton, England. On this occasion, "The CEO" will put two of her belts on the line: the BODYSLAM Women's Championship (Denmark) and the Scottish Women's Title from Discovery Wrestling.
Falcon earned her opportunity after emerging victorious from a Gauntlet Match in which eight other women participated at the event RevPro held in London on March 1. This will be the first time Falcon and Moné face each other in their respective careers. Currently, Falcon holds three championships, including the PROGRESS Women's Title.
At this time, Moné still holds seven of the thirteen championships she once held simultaneously at the end of last year. However, this number will change before her participation in High Stakes. This weekend, "The CEO" will face Mila Smidt at the BZW APOGÉE event in a Winner Takes All match. Moné will put the EWA Women's Championship (Austria) on the line, while Smidt will do the same with the RIXE Women's Championship (France). If her negative streak continues, Moné would lose almost half of her belts before the end of the month.
