We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists: CM Punk and AJ Lee, Maxxine Dupri (accompanied by Otis and Akira Tozawa), Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and JD McDonagh, who are celebrating the latter's birthday, and Stephanie Vaquer.
Dozens of hooded figures storm the scene. One of them enters the ring to show his face. It's Seth Rollins, who wants to make one thing clear: "I created The Vision, and I will be the one to kill The Vision!," he exclaims. Seth promises that anyone who associates with Paul Heyman will be marked and become his target. With that said, he recalls with satisfaction his attack on Heyman two weeks ago. Suddenly, the fans start booing. Rollins turns his head towards the entrance ramp to see a haggard Heyman.
Rollins goes straight to Paul to ask him if he really thought he was smarter than him. "Fuck you, Heyman!", the fans chant. Seth realizes that Heyman is holding a microphone, so he suggests he come closer to the ring. Paul walks slowly towards Seth. Meanwhile, he acknowledges that he has made many mistakes in his life, but associating with "The Oracle" has been the worst of all. Seth promises he won't rest until he eradicates him from this business like the cancer he is. Paul, on the other hand, points out that he wasn't going to come out, but he couldn't miss this. "I'm going to mess you up, because you messed me up. I'm going to mess you up because everyone knows how FAFO works. FA! FO! FA! F5!," he exclaims.
Brock Lesnar appears on the scene!
"The Beast" heads to the ring, where the masked men quickly position themselves in front of Rollins to defend him. Brock leaves his jacket and hat with Heyman before continuing on his way. Brock stops in front of the ring to count his next victims. Lesnar charges against the first masked men at ringside, applying german suplex and belly-to-suplex. Brock shouts at three of them, who flee in terror. "The Beast" gets rid of the last two before entering the ring. Lesnar continues to apply german suplex and F5 to get rid of each masked man one by one. Seth simply watches without escaping. Once he has taken care of all the masked men, Brock faces Rollins. "Holy sh*t!", the fans chant. Suddenly, the lights in the arena go out.
Oba Femi bursts onto the scene!
"Ooooooba, Ooooooba!", the fans chant as the Nigerian heads to the ring. Rollins watches from one of the corners. Femi enters the ring. "Ooooooba, Ooooooba!", the fans continue to chant. Brock approaches him. Rollins walks towards them, only to be confronted by Lesnar. Seth escapes from the ring, moment that Oba takes advantage of to trap Brock and apply a Fall From Grace! Oba places his leg over his victim to pose. "The Beast" rolls to ringside to catch his breath on the floor. Oba and Brock exchange glances as the segment comes to an end.

A vehicle arrives at the venue. From inside descends Roman Reigns, who quickly meets with The Usos. After a few seconds of looks, the three men smile. "Hey, you did the right thing. After all, if you talk too much, there will be consequences," says Reigns before addressing the camera directly. "The OTC" sends a message to his entire family, especially to all his cousins. "You should all be offended by what CM Punk said about my father, your uncle," he says as he encourages them to take action... but only after he takes care of "The Best in the World" at WrestleMania. Because that weekend, the World Heavyweight Champion will be all his. Reigns high-fives his cousins before leaving with them.
Danhausen appears on the entrance ramp to address the fans in San Antonio. Danhausen has a gift for them... but he forgot to bring it. Danhausen runs backstage to return with a T-shirt launcher. Unfortunately, there was only one shirt in the chamber. But it's okay, because he has something else prepared. Danhausen approaches a canvas to reveal a T-shirt cannon, which he quickly points towards the audience. Once the chamber is empty, Danhausen reminds fans they can buy his shirt on the WWE online store. Additionally, tonight they have an extra discount as part of "Day 3.16" to get them. This way, he can make more money. Otherwise, everyone will be cursed. The lights in the venue go out and Danhausen disappears... more or less.
Liv Morgan delivers a video promo to address Finn Bálor. Liv reveals that her goal since arriving at The Judgment Day was to end him. "Did you think you were in charge? You were just buying time, and you didn't even know it. I only put up with you out of respect for your relationship with Dominik," says Morgan. She has closely observed Bálor and knows when he lies and when he thinks he's in control manipulating others. And she can't hide it: she enjoyed watching him fall. "You couldn't keep up with The Judgment Day. You've gone soft," she states. "You're a loser. You were in decline, and it made me sick to call you my family every week." Meanwhile, the faction has its sights set on gold, and now that "The Prince" has fallen, a queen has taken control. One who will win the Women's World Championship at WrestleMania. "Because that family that Stephanie says I hide behind, supports me. And without Finn, we're better than ever. Look at us," she says to end her promo.
Roman Reigns and The Usos converse in their private locker room. Jey doesn't understand why Roman didn't attack CM Punk the moment he talked about his father. Jimmy believes there is a time and place for everything. And yes, he hit CM Punk last week, and he would do it again. Additionally, he points out that "The Best in the World" keeps repeating that Reigns isn't on TV every week, as it's the only way he can attack him. Roman laughs. "The OTC" reminds his cousins how little they saw their parents when they competed. "We paid the price. My children will have something different. The whole world can call me a part-timer. I don't care, as long as my wife and children understand that I'm a full-time father. There's my legacy. That's the biggest boast a superstar could make," he says. Jey insists that CM Punk should apologize. Roman makes it clear that he doesn't need an apology, but the rest of the family does, and they will get it tonight. "What could happen? Will CM Punk beat me up?," Reigns asks with a laugh before leaving.

It was time," says Orton. He hangs up, thanking the person for "doing this" for him. Once the call ends, Randy addresses the camera. Cole tries to ask a question, but Orton informs him there will be no interview. However, he will give an answer. Orton knows everyone has been talking since Friday about what he did to Cody Rhodes, but one person in particular brought clarity to his mind. "I had a conversation with someone with a good head on their shoulders, and they told me something profound—something that made me think about my life and understand who I am, what I am. It made me realize why I did what I did to Cody Rhodes on last Friday Night SmackDown. Because you see, Cole, I am a killer. And Cole, professional wrestling has more than one royal family", he says to end the segment.
An energetic Je'Von Evans approaches a hurting Dragon Lee to congratulate him on his match tonight. Lee makes it clear that both of them are the future of this business. Kofi Kingston joins them. The Ghanaian addresses the masked man in Spanish, asking him to leave him alone with Je’Von. Lee fist-bumps Evans and leaves. Kofi insists on his offer from last week, pointing out that Je’Von needs to surround himself with the right people to reach the top. And as a former WWE Champion, he is one of them. "There are people on this roster who can help you rise—and a lot—and there are others who would drag you down", Kingston says, pointing to where Dragon Lee had been standing. Annoyed by the comment about his friend, Je’Von declines. Evans walks away just as Grayson Waller appears. He doesn’t understand why Kofi insists on teaming with him. Kofi reminds him many said the same about him and Xavier Woods. And what about Waller?
Danhausen appears out of nowhere to surprise both men. "Oh, are you looking for a new member for The New Day to replace Woods? How about me? Very nice, very evil", he says while moving his hips in a circular motion. Kofi tells him they’re not looking for a replacement. Danhausen insists, saying he has several ideas for a new Booty-O’s product. Kofi repeats they don’t want him in the faction, nor do they fear his little voodoo. "Three words before I leave. You... are...", says Danhausen. Kingston steps aside, using Waller as a human shield. "...cursed!" Danhausen shouts while pointing at the Australian. "You’re cursed! You’re cursed!" he repeats to the rhythm of The New Day’s famous catchphrase. A frantic Grayson yells at his partner over what just happened. Meanwhile, Danhausen disappears without a trace. Lyra Valkyria is talking with Bayley backstage. Meanwhile, in the background, we see Austin Theory speaking with Maxxine Dupri, who is sitting on the floor. Logan Paul approaches his partner and takes him away. We return to Valkyria and Bayley. The former wants to be on the WrestleMania card, but she wants to do it alongside her partner. "You think I don’t want you to make it to WrestleMania, right!? Well I do, more than anything! And you’re going to be there! You know why I know that? Because I’m going to help you! And I’m going to be there too! We’re going to do it together!" she exclaims.
The Kabuki Warriors appear on the scene. Asuka accuses Valkyria and Bayley of costing her a title opportunity last week. Otherwise, she would have defeated AJ Lee tonight and would now be Intercontinental Champion. "I will never forget that you two cost me the championship", she says. Kairi Sane tries to speak, but Asuka hits her with her fan to keep her out of her business. "Bayley. Lyra. You are not ready for Asuka", says "The Empress of Tomorrow," followed by something in Japanese. After that, she leaves. Sane turns to Bayley. "Stay away from us," she says. "KAIRIIIIII!" Asuka shouts from afar. Sane is startled and immediately runs after her partner. Lyra asks Bayley what Asuka said. Bayley responds that the Japanese stars are going after the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. "Maybe we should talk to Pearce," suggests the Irishwoman. "Maybe we should go to WrestleMania," Bayley replies. That brings us to the end of the segment.
WWE announces that Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi will face each other at WrestleMania 42.
LA Knight meets The Usos backstage. LA Knight reminds them they still have a problem with The Vision. He has also noticed that Jey and Jimmy have been spending a lot of time with Roman Reigns. And he understands that due to family matters. He respects that. "The Megastar" believes the three of them are in the same boat, but that will change if The Bloodline somehow rises again. That said, LA Knight asks if everything is good between them. LA Knight fist-bumps Jimmy. Then he pulls him toward Jey, but Jey refuses to return it. "YEAH," he says to Jey before walking off.
Roman Reigns makes his entrance. "The OTC" raises his index finger as fireworks go off in the arena. Reigns takes his time making his way to the ring. Once inside, he raises his finger again, and the fireworks go off once more. "OTC, OTC!" the fans chant. "Roman, Roman Reigns!" they follow up. Roman grabs a microphone. "Oh yes, sir. San Antonio, acknowledge me!" he exclaims. "OTC, OTC!" the crowd responds. Reigns is pleased with the fans’ reaction, who clearly know who the show belongs to. Phil (CM Punk), on the other hand, seems to have forgotten that this is the main event segment of "his show." With that said, he asks "The Best in the World" to meet him in the ring to settle their business.
CM Punk makes his entrance!
CM Punk takes his time greeting the fans in the front row. "The Best in the World" climbs onto the announce table to pose with his back to the Samoan. CM Punk steps down and continues greeting fans while Roman waits in a corner. He then steps onto the apron to pose once more before climbing the turnbuckle to continue his entrance. "The Best in the World" finally grabs a microphone. "CM Punk, CM Punk!" the crowd chants. "Welcome to my ring. Welcome to my main event", says a smiling Roman.
CM Punk makes it clear that Reigns didn’t insult him by calling him by his real name. In fact, his friends and family call him "Phil." CM Punk could do the same with Reigns, but calling him "Joe" would only insult the name of a real Samoan—someone he respects deeply. "Well, maybe you should call Joe. He’ll remind you who your Tribal Chief is", says Roman. CM Punk asks if he ordered all the Samoans to come after him earlier. "I didn’t say I would send anyone. I just gave them permission to do what they need to do", Roman replies. "The only thing they’re going to do is high-five me, just like everyone here in San Antonio," CM Punk says before greeting the fans.
CM Punk is surprised that Reigns hasn’t hit him yet. That said, he claims he has already won his WrestleMania match because he has gotten inside the Samoan’s head. Roman responds that he’s inside everyone’s head, all the time. He then reminds "Phil" that he hasn’t main-evented anything this year—not even during WWE’s recent European tour. And he won’t main-event WrestleMania either. "Come on, Punk, they’re chanting your name. Say something special," says Reigns. "Yeah, they’re chanting my name. Last week I called you out, but you, wannabe badass, didn’t show up. Instead, you sent your cousins", replies "The Best in the World." He admits he’ll say anything to gain the upper hand in his rivalries, and that’s why Reigns can’t stand him. "I didn’t want Jimmy and Jey involved, but they came out here and handled family business. And you know what? I deserved what I got last week. Right message, wrong messenger. Who is the real Tribal Chief?" CM Punk asks.
Roman is tired of that question and the criticism about being a part-timer. Reigns says CM Punk keeps repeating the same thing over and over. "Maybe you should understand what the highest-paid players do. Why don’t you ask your wife?" says Roman. "So until you come up with something you can actually use against me, don’t waste my time, Phil," he adds before heading to the apron. CM Punk blocks his path repeatedly, even stepping out of the ring to stop him. "My ring. My title. My show. I’ll tell you when you can come in and when you can leave. And kid, now is not the time", says CM Punk. Reigns decides to return.
CM Punk points to the WrestleMania sign. "I’m in your head. I’ve got you figured out. Look over there. Look at that sign. It’s the last time you’ll ever main-event. I’m going to pin you. I’m going to lift you onto my shoulders with all my Punkamaniacs chanting 'CM Punk, CM Punk.' I’m going to raise you above my beautiful hair and bring you crashing back down to earth onto my knee. I’m going to break your ego in half and beat you on the grandest stage of them all," he says.
Roman has had enough. The Samoan claims CM Punk is nothing more than delusional. Reigns declares himself the greatest opponent CM Punk has ever faced, as well as his Tribal Chief. He assures him he cannot compare to him in any way. "Because at the end of the day—and this is the truth, Phil—you’re not faster than me. You’re not stronger than me. You can’t do anything that I do in this ring. You don’t look better than me. You are nothing to me. That title around your waist is an embarrassment. You try so hard and still make us look bad, because at the end of the day, you’re old," says Reigns. Furious, CM Punk throws a right hand at the Samoan, dropping him to the mat.
Several officials led by Adam Pearce rush into the ring to separate CM Punk from Reigns. He laughs, satisfied with the situation. "Come on. Come on. Mind games," says Roman. Pearce convinces "The Best in the World" to leave the ring. Reigns addresses the camera. "Is this what you cheer for? He can stand here and talk all day, but he can’t handle hearing ONE thing. And he loses control. So who’s in whose head now?" the Samoan asks. Roman laughs as "The Best in the World" is escorted backstage. And that’s how this week’s episode comes to an end.
