WWE NXT will be live from New York next week with a new match. Jasper Troy and Keanu Carver, two of the biggest stars of the brand, will face off after their confrontation in Houston.
The rivalry exploded during the Booker T Appreciation Night ceremony. Carver crashed the event, knocking out several of Booker's students and directly threatening the Hall of Famer. Troy came to the rescue of his mentor in Legends & Future Greats, expelling the intruder and igniting the spark of this monster war.
Troy signed with WWE in August 2022 and, under Booker T's guidance, won the first season of LFG, defeating Shiloh Hill in the final. He joined the main NXT roster in May of last year, unsuccessfully challenged Oba Femi for the NXT Championship, and won the WWE Speed Championship against El Grande Americano (version II), recently losing it to Elio LeFleur. Carver arrived at WWE in late 2023, standing out in Evolve and Level Up before officially debuting in NXT this January.
Both bring their experience as college American football linemen: Troy played offense for Kansas and Northern Iowa, while Carver was a defensive player at Temple. This clash of titans in Manhattan promises to be a battle of brute force in the heart of the Big Apple.
