Penta will issue a new open challenge for the Intercontinental Championship on WWE Raw

WWE will return to Madison Square Garden in New York in what will be the penultimate stop of Raw before WrestleMania 42. The show will take place this coming Monday and will feature the appearance of some of the main protagonists of the grand event, such as Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk. In addition, several championships will be on the line.

Among them is the Intercontinental Championship, which will be defended in an open challenge, as confirmed by WWE through its social media. This will be Penta's fourth title defense in his first reign in the company, and the second occasion in which it will take place as part of an open challenge. The first open challenge was answered by Dragon Lee on the show of March 16, resulting in one of the most highly rated matches of the night.
