AJ Styles has shared more details about his role in WWE after hanging up his boots. In his podcast Phenomenally Retro, the newly inducted Hall of Famer explained that he will be working as a talent scout, touring the independent circuit in search of future stars.

Styles revealed that he has already started attending indie shows, evaluating what up-and-coming wrestlers have to offer. "I'm scouring the internet and going to independent events to see who stands out," he confessed, even inviting talents to send him material directly.

I know what it's like to be in the indies, traveling on a tight budget and needing opportunities. If they're as desperate as I was to make it to the big leagues, I want to see them before someone else snatches them up. I hope to discover talent before it fully develops.

With his experience as one of the top competitors of the past two decades, Styles aims to identify those wrestlers with unique potential who could fit in WWE. His retirement ceremony recently took place in Atlanta, where he was surprised by Undertaker announcing his induction into the Hall of Fame 2026 in Las Vegas.

This new chapter allows "The Phenomenal One" to continue contributing to the business he loves so much, but from a behind-the-scenes role that could shape the next generation of superstars.
