Vic Joseph interviews Myles Borne backstage. Borne recalls his time with No Quarter Catch Crew, thanking his partners for helping him grow. But there's another person he also must thank. That person is Ethan Page, who taught him that sometimes you have to do things others wouldn't to win. "He gave me an edge that made me a champion and will allow me to continue being one," he says. Borne acknowledges that winning gold is easier than keeping it, but he hopes to leave Stand & Deliver with the belt still in his possession. Joseph reminds him that Johnny Gargano, his opponent at PLE, has had a different attitude lately, so he asks what he expects regarding this match. Myles affirms that Gargano is one of the greatest North American champions of all time. And yes, maybe he hasn't been himself lately, but he's still a SmackDown superstar. "I don't know which version of him will show up, but I hope it's Johnny Wrestling," says Myles.
Johnny Gargano interrupts the interview. Joseph leaves, giving his seat to Gargano. He warns Borne to be careful what he wishes for because he would never have a chance to beat Johnny Wrestling. "Pray I don't find you, because if I do, I'll eat you alive," says Gargano. "Myles, this isn't personal," he continues. "It's very personal," he asserts while pointing at the championship. "Because if I win it, I can go back to SmackDown and reclaim my life." Gargano promises him that he will face someone who will push him to his limits like he has never experienced before. On Saturday, for the first time in the last two months, he won't be lying on the ground because he needs this more than Myles could ever understand. The segment ends with both men staring at each other.
Wren Sinclair cheers on Kendal Grey before her match tonight. Wren promises her that she will be by her side every step of the way. With that, she leaves. "You can do it! Just focus!" exclaims Sinclair as she walks away.

And now they have lost to OTM. "What's going on?! We're supposed to be at the top!", he exclaims. "We are the danger in NXT, not the other way around," he adds. Saquon Shugars agrees. "When DarkState strikes, no one is safe. No one", says Shugars. "Yes, and at Stand & Deliver, I'll make sure of that," says Lennox before leaving.

The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes, and Brad Baylor) approach Blake Monroe backstage. Baylor points out that Monroe might be in danger because of Tatum Paxley, so he might want them as protection. "Guys, I'll be fine. Last week caught me off guard, but tonight I'm ready for my close-up," says "The Glamour" before leaving with the NXT Women's North American Championship in her hands.
Tony D'Angelo makes his entrance in the ring. He is followed by Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, and Joe Hendry. The four men take a seat at the tables set up in the ring, where they will sign the contract for their match at Stand & Deliver. Robert Stone is in charge of presenting the segment.
The NXT General Manager introduces the four men who will compete for the top title in the main event of PLE. With that said, he is about to hand the contract to Page, but Ricky also reaches for it. "The Absolute" and "All Ego" struggle to get the document, but they finally decide to give it to the other. Hendry ends this scene by taking the contract himself. The Scotsman signs it before speaking. Joe is curious to see who will betray the other first, because it's clear that the friendship they pretend to share will fall apart when they give in to desperation. A desperation based on the urgent need to wear a championship again. However, none of them will achieve it because they will face a passionate man. Passionate about NXT, about being the brand's champion, and about being here tonight. And he promises that he will leave Stand & Deliver with the gold still around his waist while everyone shouts "WE BELIEVE."
Ricky tells Joe that he is wrong because the Scotsman doesn't understand the friendship that binds him to Page. With that said, he affirms that Hendry shouldn't be a champion to begin with, as the title should have returned to his waist when it became vacant. Saints takes the document to sign it. "On Saturday, at Stand & Deliver, I will correct everything in this world once and for all when I become a two-time NXT Champion," promises "The Absolute." Stone hands the contract to Ethan. He agrees with Saints: on Saturday everything will be settled. "All Ego" notes that, thanks to Ricky, he has realized he has wasted too much time worrying about the North American Championship when he should have been aiming higher. "I deserve global recognition, so I will be the one to become a two-time NXT Champion", he says as he signs the document. Ricky insists that he will be the one to achieve it.
D'Angelo tells them to be quiet. Stone hands the document to Tony. D'Angelo reminds them that the three men sitting at the table tonight have all held the title. Page arrived in NXT and quickly became champion. But he lost it as fast as he won it. "Ricky Saints, you were supposed to be the new face of the brand. You are Absolute… an absolutely disappointing failure", he says. As for Hendry, he has no problem with him. However, like Saints and Page, he came from outside. Tony, on the other hand, has always been in NXT. "I was born and raised in NXT. NXT is in my blood. And I don’t care who you are, where you come from, or what you’ve done. When Saturday comes, I’m going to run over all three of you like a freight train", he says before signing the document.
Tony hands the document to Stone before reminding him how these kinds of segments usually end. That’s why he advises him to leave the ring. Tony stands up to smash Ricky’s head against one of the tables. Ethan quickly attacks Joe. The four men brawl as Stone calls for security. Page executes an Ego's Edge on Hendry, breaking one of the tables. Meanwhile, D'Angelo delivers a chokeslam to Saints through the second table. With two men taken out, Tony and Page start another fight. Several security members rush in to separate them. This is how the segment comes to an end.
Jasper Troy vs. Keanu Carver (with Josh Briggs as special guest referee)
Keanu attacks Troy while he is making his entrance to the ring. Carver throws his opponent into one of the ring posts. He then repeats the move against the steel steps. Keanu tries to grab Jasper’s chains, but he prevents it. Troy knocks Carver down with a clothesline before taking him inside the ring. Briggs calls for the bell.
Jasper crushes Carver in one of the corners. After that, he hoists him onto his shoulder. Keanu pokes his opponent in the eyes to break free. Josh sees it but decides not to do anything about it. Keanu kicks Troy in the corner. Briggs slowly counts to four. Carver refuses to release Troy, prompting Josh to order him to follow his instructions. Annoyed, Keanu gets in the face of the special guest referee.
The action spills to ringside. Carver confronts a fan and even puts his hands on him with the intention of throwing him to the ground. Josh has to intervene to stop it. A threatening Keanu approaches Booker T, who quickly stands up. Suddenly, Troy surprises Carver from behind to execute a powerbomb through the announce table, destroying it.
Jasper takes Keanu back into the ring, where he hits a Black Hole Slam. 1..2..NO. Troy gets angry at Briggs, insisting the count should have reached three. Jasper shoves Josh, who responds with a big boot! A recovered Keanu takes advantage of the situation to surprise his opponent with a Pounce. He then finishes him off with a running powerslam. 1..2..3.
Winner: Keanu Carver
Briggs prepares to leave the ring, but Carver stops him. Keanu demands that Josh raise his arm in victory. Josh teases doing so, only to hit a clothesline! Briggs leaves the ring, leaving Keanu laid out on the mat.
We head backstage, where Elio LeFleur, Eli Knight, Sean Legacy, Hank Walker, and Tank Ledger are talking. Legacy notes that he will only need a few more weeks before being medically cleared. Ledger and Walker, meanwhile, regret not being able to be at Stand & Deliver, where exactly one year ago they became NXT Tag Team Champions. Meanwhile, LeFleur tells his teammates that his shoulder injury will keep him out of action for half a year. That’s why he must vacate his WWE Speed Championship. Next week, a tournament will begin to determine the next champion, and he hopes Knight will take part in it. Wren Sinclair appears to approach the Frenchman. "Heyyy, I’m really sorry. I heard about your shoulder and…", Wren says kindly before being abruptly interrupted by Shiloh Hill. He laughs while asking his teammates if they saw what he did to Birth Right tonight. Hank and Tank regret not sharing his enthusiasm, as all of them will have to watch Stand & Deliver from the sidelines. Shiloh starts counting those present with a smile on his face. "I have an idea", he says before leaving.
Tatum Paxley makes her way to the ring. Paxley recalls with a smile what she did to Blake Monroe last week. Tatum gave her an ultimatum, so she expects the Brit to come out and return what belongs to her. Blake Monroe appears on the entrance ramp. "The Glamour" heads to the ring with the North American Championship in her hands.
Monroe says she has nothing against Paxley, but she also can’t return something that the latter never actually lost. Tatum knows that Blake has something she wants, and vice versa. Monroe, however, disagrees. Paxley points out that they both think the same way, and that’s why she can offer her what she wants most: a title match at Stand & Deliver. Otherwise, the Brit will have to watch NXT’s biggest event of the year from her home. "That’s quite an offer, and you could be the perfect co-star to stand by my side at the biggest show. I accept", says Blake. However, she also makes it clear that she and Paxley are nothing alike. In fact, they are complete opposites. She is perfection and the standard of NXT. Even her hotel has a city view. "You look like you belong in this crowd with these dirty New Yorkers", says "The Glamour". "You’re a sweet girl, Tatum. You’re a champion in name. This championship needs a woman", she adds.
Tatum interrupts the Brit to make it clear that she won’t be dragged into this circus and that she will reclaim the championship that belongs to her. "I understand there’s a part of you that comes out when you get really angry, but I have an even worse side", says Paxley. "I can be the gothic to your glamour. I can be the fire to your hell. I’ll let you decide your fate for Saturday, but tonight you will give me back what’s mine", she adds before placing her hands on the belt. Blake holds onto it, refusing to hand it over. The two women struggle. Tatum throws several punches at the Brit before knocking her down with a spinning heel kick. Blake ends up at ringside. Paxley goes to grab the belt, but "The Glamour" is faster. Monroe retreats up the entrance ramp with the championship still in her possession.
Sarah Schreiber interviews Robert Stone backstage. The General Manager announces a mixed tag team match featuring Shiloh Hill, Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, Eli Knight, and Wren Sinclair against Birth Right on the Countdown Show of Stand & Deliver. An upset Keanu Carver approaches Stone to demand a match against Josh Briggs. The General Manager doesn’t want any trouble. Besides, he has already spoken with Briggs and Jasper Troy, so next week the three of them will face off in a triple threat. Suddenly, shouting catches Stone’s attention. He heads toward the scene to find an enraged Kelani Jordan attacking Jaida Parker with a trash can. Jordan continues kicking Parker until several officials intervene to pull her away from her victim.
We see a promotional video focused on the story of Sol Ruca and Zaria.
The members of Fatal Influence watch the video on a screen backstage. Jacy Jayne is glad not to be involved in the rivalry between Ruca and Zaria, and even more so that her title is not part of that story. Now she just needs to find out who her opponent will be at NXT Stand & Deliver. Izzi Dame, who had been in the background looking at her smartphone, approaches her. "You’ve been at the top for a long time. You know why everyone wants what you have. I’m not talking about those two. I’ll make it very clear what I want", Izzi tells Jayne before leaving. "Excuse me?", asks a surprised Fallon Henley as the segment comes to an end.

Kendal digs deep to hit a bridging suplex. The referee starts the three count. Meanwhile, the referee at ringside notices something. Unable to endure the pain any longer, Grey submits, but the in-ring referee does not see it. That’s why the bell is rung. The second referee quickly enters the ring to explain what happened.
Both women claim victory, but the officials keep arguing. The situation leads to Shawn Michaels coming out. The Director of NXT joins the discussion, but the show ends without a definitive decision regarding the match result.
