Lady Frost has signed a contract with Major League Wrestling (MLW). The wrestler officially left All Elite Wrestling last night and immediately signed with the Orlando promotion. "As of today, I am a free agent. I want to thank Tony Khan for being an incredibly kind and passionate boss. I have lived some of the most amazing moments with AEW and I am very grateful for the years I spent there. For now, I am looking for new challenges. On to the next...", Lady Frost wrote once her contract came to an end. A couple of hours later, she had already signed with MLW.
According to the specialized media Fightful, MLW had shown interest in Frost as soon as they learned of her departure from AEW, so they approached her to propose an offer directly. At the moment details about the duration of the contract have not been revealed, but sources from MLW contacted by Fightful indicated that they were very excited to close the deal. In addition, it is expected that Frost will participate in some of the upcoming television tapings that the company will soon carry out.
"I was only a free agent for a matter of hours, we can say, which feels pretty good," Frost declared to Sean Ross Sapp this afternoon. "Honestly, they called me right away and it was the call that I think I needed to hear. They have been following me for a long time. I appeared in some tapings about six years ago. I wasn't even an extra, I just went to get myself known. They remembered me and have been following my career. I posted, I think, something that generated quite a bit of interest, a promotional video and a teaser, and they said: 'We love your work'. I replied: 'That's the direction I want to go. That's how I see my career'. They wanted to bet on me, allowing me to be creative and be who I want to be as an artist and professional wrestler. So I loved the call and thought it fit perfectly at this moment. That's how I ended up there."
Lady Frost was a regular talent on the television programming of All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor since late 2022, when the wrestler left TNA Wrestling. A year later, the wrestler officially signed with Tony Khan's company. A contract that finally expired yesterday.
At 41 years old, and with only 8 years of experience in the professional wrestling business, Lady Frost can boast of having competed in some of the most prominent promotions in the world, including TNA, AEW, ROH, CMLL, GCW, or NWA, among others. Her signing with MLW will allow her to add a new experience to her already rich career.
