WrestleMania 42 line-up almost finalised: 14 matches over two nights

The WrestleMania 42 card is practically set. Currently, there are 12 official matches scheduled over the two nights of April 18-19 at Allegiant Stadium, but the working plan aims for 14 full matches to fill the show and satisfy the expected 70,000 fans.

According to WrestleVotes, the next expected addition is a featured tag team match: IshowSpeed and The Vision against The Usos and LA Knight. This mix promises to be one of the viral moments of the weekend.

AAA and SmackDown names for the IC ladder match

Reinforcements from AAA and SmackDown are being considered to beef up the Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship, aiming to internationalize the match and give it more shine. This would leverage the alliance between WWE and AAA and provide extra minutes to talents from the blue brand.

There are no updates on Carmelo Hayes joining the card, despite online criticism for his absence from the United States Championship scene. WWE is aware of fans' discontent seeing the former NXT talent underutilized outside of Mania.

As always during WrestleMania week, plans may be adjusted due to injuries or creative decisions. With Cena as the host and boosted sales, WWE aims for epic Nights 1 and 2 that justify the trip to Las Vegas.
