Looking forward to your comments!
Megan Morant and Peter Rosenberg are in charge of presenting the Countdown Show.
Sarah Schreiber interviewed Kendal Grey and Lola Vice before the show. Schreiber reminded them that their draw at the NXT show in New York benefited both of them, allowing them to compete for the Women's Championship at Stand & Deliver. Lola did not consider herself benefited. "I won the match. She tapped out. Everyone saw it", she said. However, that didn't matter anymore, because now they would face each other in a triple threat match where there would be no room for controversy. It will be a match from which a new NXT Women's Champion will emerge. Grey reminded Vice that she also defeated her, but unlike her, she doesn't make excuses. Kendal sees this situation as an opportunity. One that will allow her to become champion. Schreiber asked both of them about their respective disciplines (MMA in Lola's case and Amateur Wrestling in Kendal's case) and how these have prepared them for this match. Vice highlighted the passion, aggressiveness, and ability to knock out any opponent, as well as taking advantage of every opportunity that presents itself. Grey, on the other hand, explained that control and pressure are key elements in amateur wrestling. Kendal promised that she will break Lola and Jacy Jayne piece by piece. As for the champion, Grey pointed out that she always uses her teammates to gain the advantage. Grey admitted that she has a lot of pressure on her, but it's not a bad thing. Because that pressure will help her give her all to win the gold. Vice agreed with Kendal. If it weren't for Lainey Reid, she would have become NXT Women's Champion at No Mercy. However, that will change at Stand & Deliver, when she finally wins the gold. Schreiber asked them what message they will be sending if one of them ends up triumphing. Lola replied that she will be the most dangerous woman in the ring. Grey, on the other hand, will have shown that she is not the future, but the present. Sarah thanked them for their time to end the interview.
Blake Howard interviewed The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, and Jackson Drake) before the show. However, Howard's initial questions (such as stating that their victory over DarkState was quite a surprise) did not sit well with the faction. Drake then decided to replace the interviewer, claiming he could do a better job than him. Drake apologized to his teammates for what happened before starting the new interview. Drake reminded them that they will be competing in their first Stand & Deliver, in a title match, just two months after their ascent to NXT. Baylor pointed out that this success, winning the gold right after ascending, is proof enough that they are the best team in the brand, as well as the most attractive, athletic, and charismatic. Drake asked them about the attack suffered by Eli Knight and Elio LeFleur a couple of weeks ago, and of which they have been accused of being responsible. "We have no idea what happened with Eli and Elio, and we don't care. The only thing that matters to us is to keep these tag team championships", replied Smokes. Baylor acknowledged that Knight and LeFleur could have won the tag team tournament and be their rivals at Stand & Deliver. However, it will be Los Americanos who will have that opportunity. They have faced the masked men before and lost to them, but they cheated. The Vanity Project ended the interview by ensuring that they are the best faction in the business.
