WWE would be preparing a ticket price reduction for summer shows, as reported by Bryan Alvarez. The decision comes after weeks of debate about the high cost of attending events, especially following CM Punk's "pipe bomb" on Raw where he demanded lower prices so that "families can see me step on Roman Reigns' throat at WrestleMania".

Ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium have internally worried WWE, which has launched several promotions to boost ticket sales. Although the event is not in danger of not selling out, the numbers are behind WrestleMania 41 at the same venue, prompting discounts like "3:16 Day" with 31.6% off.

Strategy for regular shows

The measure would mainly affect summer Raws and SmackDowns, not big PLEs like SummerSlam. WWE aims to counteract the perception of prohibitive prices, with tickets starting at $195 for WrestleMania, and to regain the average family that has been left out due to the escalating costs post-TKO.

Additionally, Dave Meltzer explained that, although WWE won't have financial problems, the image of "not selling out WrestleMania" is what really concerns them. With stable ratings on Netflix but slower ticket sales, the company wants to fill medium-sized arenas again and regain the family core that built its boom in the 80s and 90s.
