The road to WrestleMania has taken an unexpected turn in the last week with two of its protagonists breaking the fourth wall in promos that have felt very real. Both Pat McAfee and CM Punk mentioned hot and delicate topics such as the slow ticket sales pace for WrestleMania, as well as throwing some poisoned darts at TKO and its leaders.

Last night, on WWE Raw, "The Best in the World" went after McAfee for criticizing a business he got into thanks to Ari Emanuel, CEO of TKO. And not only that, but he also called him Pat "MAGAfee", a clear reference to the MAGA movement in the United States, associated with the richest and most powerful men in the country. This afternoon, McAfee wanted to respond to these comments on his weekly show.

"Pat MAGAfee? What? What's that about? CM Punk, last night, calling me Pat MAGAfee and attacking many things. Then he would explain why the WrestleMania ticket price isn't worth it. 'Lower the prices now. I'm not worth that much'. No problem, Mr. Punk. Randy Orton is here to save the day," McAfee said.

CM Punk's "Pipe Bomb" left no stone unturned. In addition to McAfee and the TKO management, "The Best in the World" also went after Roman Reigns (his WrestleMania opponent), The Rock, and even Vince McMahon, although not explicitly naming him. And all this while skillfully navigating through the changing reactions of the Houston crowd.

CM Punk is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 42 Night 2. Meanwhile, Pat McAfee will accompany Randy Orton in his title match against Cody Rhodes, scheduled for the main event of Night 1 of the Show of Shows.
