IYO SKY to Asuka: "I hope to see you in Vegas"

The latest show of WWE Raw, held last night in the city of Houston, Texas, left numerous headlines, as well as an update on the WrestleMania 42 card. A show that could feature a one-on-one match between Asuka and IYO SKY. A highly anticipated match by fans that the company hinted at in a backstage segment.

Through a promo, "The Empress of Tomorrow" promised to give her former partner one last lesson in the ring. Many have wished for that match to take place on the grandest stage of all. Something that SKY herself has hinted at in her most recent social media post.

"Asuka... The achievements you have accomplished in WWE have been truly brilliant. Kairi and I have always admired you. But the way you are treating Kairi right now is changing all of that! If dragging Kairi and using her as a shield is your idea of 'LOVE', then my 'LOVE' is going anywhere and everywhere to be Rhea's shield. I am DEFINITELY not afraid to face you, my senpai whom I once LOVED so much. Let's settle this once and for all: which of our 'LOVES' deserves to have it all. I hope to see you in Vegas," wrote "The Genius of Sky".

Despite everything, there is a possibility that the match may not happen at the grand event. According to the WrestlePurists outlet, the reason WWE has not made it official yet is because it is a plan B in case Nikki Bella is not cleared to compete at the grand event. In this scenario, the idea would be to replace The Bella Twins with The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) in the fatal four-way match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, which would postpone the rivalry between mentor and student for a later time.
