TNA may prevent its wrestlers from facing AEW wrestlers on the independent circuit

"Fightful Select has learned that Moose has been removed from the upcoming MLP Multiverse event. According to our information, Moose had been previously approved for the event, but there could be more significant consequences on the way. TNA sources indicated that Moose may have had a scheduling conflict on that date," wrote Fightful.

"However, there is now concern within the independent circuit that Leon Slater and Nic Nemeth may be removed from scheduled matches with AEW talent, which would imply significant changes. Leon Slater vs. Ricochet and Nic Nemeth vs. MJF were planned for events across the country. Sources familiar with the situation believe that this could lead to a scenario where TNA talent cannot fight against AEW talent anywhere. The people we spoke to believe that Nemeth is pushing to stay in the match against MJF," the media wrote.

"The immediate reaction we got from TNA was that Carlos Silva agreed for TNA wrestlers to participate in MLP, but people close to MLP heard that Silva was not happy with AEW airing Collision at the same time as TNA IMPACT last week. Although that was a decision by WBD, it seems that AEW has liked the boost that college basketball brings on weekends," concluded the report.

The unprecedented match between Nic Nemeth and MJF is scheduled for the Monumental Moment event by Create a Pro Wrestling, which will take place on May 1st. One that allowed Ricochet to face Rich Swann at last week's Global Wars event, and Mercedes Moné to lose one of her championships to Jody Threat at a WPW show.
