The Hardys will return to House of Glory for the event that the New York promotion will hold in Las Vegas during WrestleMania weekend. Matt and Jeff Hardy are scheduled to defend the promotion's Tag Team Championships in an open challenge. However, the challenging team will not come from the roster of All Elite Wrestling. Matt confirmed this in statements to TMZ Inside the Ropes.

"I don't know what the executives would say. I think we had already decided, because we are the TNA Tag Team Champions, that we weren't going to face an AEW team from the beginning with House of Glory. Maybe anyone but them. I also don't think AEW could do it anyway because, if they step into the ring with the GOATs, they probably won't win, and I think they need to win," Matt said jokingly.

Matt's statements come at a delicate moment, with TNA Wrestling being criticized by fans for implementing a policy that would prevent its talent from specifically facing AEW wrestlers on the independent scene. So far, Moose has been removed from the MLP Multiverse lineup, while the announced match between Leon Slater and Ricochet, as well as the MJF vs. Leon Slater match scheduled for CAP: Monumental Moment, are up in the air.

The Hardys won the HOG Tag Team Championships last October, starting their second reign in the promotion. Matt and Jeff last faced an AEW team at the Heels Have Eyes: Westside Gunn Day event by 4th Rope last August.
