True to its annual appointment, Forbidden Door will return this summer for a new edition. All Elite Wrestling has confirmed this afternoon the date and venue of its PPV. This will feature talents from AEW, NJPW, CMLL, and STARDOM, making this edition one of the most complete in its history.
"All Elite Wrestling (AEW) announced today that the SAP Center in San Jose, California, will host AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on Sunday, June 28. The event, which marks a milestone, will be broadcast live worldwide via pay-per-view and can be streamed on HBO Max pay-per-view. It will feature stars from promotions around the world, including All Elite Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, CMLL, and STARDOM.
Tickets for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door will go on sale on Monday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific time). Fans interested in accessing early presale opportunities can sign up to become an AEW Insider by visiting allelitewrestling.com/aew-insider," AEW wrote in its press release.

The Forbidden Door event emerged in 2022 as a collaboration between AEW and NJPW, offering matches between talents from both promotions. The first edition took place at the United Center in Chicago, followed by events in Toronto in 2023, in Long Island, New York, in 2024, and in London in 2025, with the latter being one of the company's most successful PPVs in history.
