The slow ticket sales pace for WrestleMania 42 has become one of the biggest headaches for WWE. So much so, that the company has been forced to take several measures, including reducing the capacity of Allegiant Stadium, in order to reverse this situation.
The latest initiative has been a 25% discount on WrestleMania Saturday tickets, the night that was proving most difficult to sell for WWE. Fortunately for the company, the result has been positive, with over 2,000 tickets sold during the days the promotion was active, as revealed in the latest WrestleTix report.
According to the report, night one has sold 42,715 tickets, with 1,872 still to be distributed. In total, 2,105 tickets have been sold in the last four days. Meanwhile, night two has sold 43,394 tickets, leaving 1,193 still to be sold. In this case, 625 tickets were sold in the last four days.
This is the first update where WrestleMania Saturday surpasses night 2 of the grand event in ticket sales, an indication that the 25% discount encouraged many fans to make a purchase. With three days still ahead, it remains to be seen if Allegiant Stadium will finally be able to hang the coveted "Sold Out" sign.
