Pat McAfee trolls fans with a fake AEW surprise at WWE World

The new role of Pat McAfee as a heel has focused, among other things, on mocking and insulting WWE fans. His latest stunt took place this afternoon on WWE World. McAfee teased a "HUGE SURPRISE" at the convention, countdown included. However, when it reached zero, the fans were met with a live episode of The Pat McAfee Show.

"Surprise, geeks! You thought the surprise might be your all-time favorite wrestler, maybe someone from AEW who was going to sign with WWE at WrestleMania, and you, marks, were going to go crazy with excitement. Instead, Pat McAfee is smarter than all of you, you dumb marks, once again!" McAfee exclaimed.

"What Randy and I are about to do to your WrestleMania weekend is something you can't prepare for, you can't control; you're going to leave WrestleMania in tears knowing that what was, what all of you let happen, is over. Randy Orton is going to return this industry to what it's supposed to be, taking it out of your idiotic hands," he added.

Pat McAfee will be in Randy Orton's corner when he faces Cody Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Championship in the main event of the first night of WrestleMania 42 tomorrow. A title, by the way, that McAfee took from "The American Nightmare" on last week's SmackDown episode. Tonight, Rhodes will deliver one final promo on the blue brand show before the grand event.
