WWE is celebrating a new episode of Monday Night Raw tonight, this time number 1,717, from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This will be the first episode of the red brand after WrestleMania 42 and will be broadcast live on Netflix. Solowrestling will bring you the results in this news as every week.
Tonight's episode will feature the confirmed presence of several of the main event stars, including the new champions Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan. As always, we invite you to comment on the note to give your opinion on what happened in the show.
WWE Raw starts on Netflix!
The show begins with a video recap of WrestleMania 42.
We see the arrival of some of tonight's stars at the venue: The Judgment Day in full and RHIYO (Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY).
Oba Femi is the one to open the show. "The Ruler" heads to the ring as fans chant his name. "Oooooooooooba, Oooooooooooba!" the crowd shouts as Femi is about to speak. "Oba Femi! Oba Femi!" they chant as Femi gets ready to talk. The Nigerian takes the microphone to his mouth again. "The Ruler has arrived!", he exclaims before dropping the mic on the canvas. Oba poses in the ring to end this brief segment.
The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) carry out a video promo. "IYO, once again you choose your fake family in Rhea Ripley over your real family and yourself. I will always be your senpai and the one who brought you success in WWE. IYO, it seems you have forgotten, but tonight you will remember," says "The Empress of Tomorrow". She reminds SKY that her devotion to Ripley has not served her interests. "Now Rhea is champion. And you? You are nothing," she states. Asuka regrets that everything ended badly between them. IYO should have respected her as her senpai and she would have stayed by her side. In addition, SKY not only turned her back on her, but also tried to corrupt Kairi. "Last week I defeated you. This week, we will do it again," says Sane. "Rhea and you will suffer the consequences. You are not prepared for Asuka," says "The Empress of Tomorrow" to end the promo.
Tag Team Match
RHIYO (Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY) vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane)
Kairi and SKY start the fight. Both women struggle, taking the action to the ropes. Sane and IYO exchange holds. Kairi taunts her opponents before taking down IYO with a hurricanrana. Sane finishes her off with a dropkick. SKY tries to recover, but her opponent stops her with a right hand. SKY surprises Kairi with a double underhook backbreaker before tagging in Ripley.
Rhea takes down Kairi with a facebuster before finishing her off with a dropkick. Asuka receives the tag. "The Empress of Tomorrow" launches a great offensive against the Australian, who responds with a precise kick to the face. 1..2..NO. Asuka catches the referee's attention. Kairi tries to attack Ripley, but she prevents it. However, the distraction allows Asuka to throw her out of the ring. Sane jumps on "Mami" with an Insane Elbow.
"The Pirate Princess" continues to hit Ripley next to the Spanish commentary table before bringing her back into the ring. Kairi throws Rhea against Asuka, who is waiting with her legs up. Asuka unleashes a rain of direct kicks to Ripley's face. After that, she approaches SKY to taunt her. Sane traps Rhea in a Tarantula. The referee forces her to release it.
Asuka takes Ripley to the ropes to attract the referee's attention. This way, Kairi can illegally kick the Australian. Ripley escapes from Asuka before taking down Sane with an elevated Shining Wizard. Rhea and Kairi crawl to their respective corners to tag in their partners. IYO takes care of both opponents at the same time. SKY knocks them down with a double dropkick. IYO continues with three consecutive running meteora, two of them on Asuka, whom she finishes off with a direct kick to the face. SKY covers her. 1..2..NO.
The action continues. Rhea executes a Razor's Edge on Asuka for IYO to finish her off with a Missile Dropkick. Ripley covers her. 1..2...NO. Asuka blocks Rhea's Riptide to surprise her with a facebreaker. Asuka and Kairi combine against Ripley, applying a double kick. 1..2..NO. IYO interrupts the count.
SKY performs a double footstomp on Asuka's stomach, who ends up at ringside. Furious, Kairi confronts IYO before throwing her out of the ring. However, she causes "The Genius of Sky" to land on Asuka with a suicide dive. Rhea surprises a distracted Sane with a headbutt before applying a Riptide to her. SKY finishes her off with a definitive Over the Moonsault. 1..2..3.
Winners: RHIYO
Asuka confronts a semi-unconscious Kairi at ringside as the segment comes to an end.
Adam Pearce congratulates Penta for his title defense last night. Je'Von Evans appears on the scene to greet both men. Evans also wants to congratulate the Mexican for his victory at WrestleMania. Je'Von confesses that he really believed he would become champion last night, so he wants to make it clear that he is not going anywhere. "Last night we stole the show, and we will do it again soon, and rest assured that my title is not going anywhere. Because you know, I'm Penta, Zero Fear," says the masked man before leaving. At that moment, Ethan Page appears on the scene. Pearce introduces "All Ego" as the new signing of Monday Night Raw. Pearce wonders if he heard correctly. Does Evans want another title shot? Because now he is here and always gets what he wants. "The only difference between you and me, buddy, is that I don't need second chances," says Ethan. Upset, Je'Von faces his old enemy. Pearce steps between them to propose a solution. "How about we settle this in the ring tonight?," asks the General Manager. Evans and Page gladly accept. "No one will take my place, much less you," says Je'Von before leaving.
The Americans (El Grande Americano, Bravo Americano, and Rayo Americano) address the fans from the entrance ramp. Bravo and Rayo mock Las Vegas, pointing out that it is a city of "shorties". People who are not able to dress or dance like them. In fact, they have neither respect nor culture. "Kiss my ass," Rayo sings. El Grande Americano takes the floor to address Original El Grande Americano directly. "I promise, to myself, and to all my countrymen around the world, that I will take that mask off you," he says. El Grande Americano assures that once he does, he will hold it high to go home and carry out the biggest celebration ever seen in Mexican wrestling.
We see Royce Keys in the front row.
CM Punk makes his entrance without music. "The Best in the World" stands on the entrance ramp to listen to the chants of the audience. After a few seconds, he kneels. "It's Clover Time!" he exclaims. CM Punk heads to the ring as his theme "Cult of Personality" begins to resonate in the venue. "CM Punk! CM Punk!" chant the fans as the wrestler stands in the center of the ring.
CM Punk acknowledges that he has lost a lot in recent months: his friend and MMA coach, Duke Rufus; his dog Larry; WWE family members like Kerwin Silfies, Jim Shank, and Danny Coates. People behind the screen who keep this machine well oiled, whom he describes as the true heroes and superstars of the company. CM Punk assures that these recent losses have been more painful than losing his world championship at WrestleMania. Fortunately, the love he receives from the fans has allowed him to process each of these losses. And something tells him they will help him again in the most recent one.
In fact, he never thought he would be world champion. But he did it because he was ready to seize any opportunity. And yes, last night he lost, but he is still "The Best in the World". And he proved it by giving his all in the main event of WrestleMania. CM Punk promises that he will continue to be ready because you never know when an opportunity will come from above. CM Punk is about to leave the ring when suddenly...
Cody Rhodes makes his entrance!
CM Punk approaches Rhodes to observe the state of his left eye, completely bruised and half-open. CM Punk apologizes to Cody for going over time. That's why he will leave the ring so he can address the fans. "No, don't go. This is Monday Night Raw. This is your moment, CM Punk," says Rhodes. The Undisputed WWE Champion acknowledges that he did not expect this reaction from CM Punk after his defeat at WrestleMania, but he is happy that the fans have recognized him as he deserves. He, on the other hand, feels like a loser after the grand event. Surprised, CM Punk asks Cody if he is implying that he should also feel like a loser, because he doesn't.
CM Punk reminds Rhodes that on Saturday he defeated not only a future WWE Hall of Famer but also a mentor and a friend. CM Punk points out that Cody feels that way because of the weight of his championship. "Man, I'm as free as a bird right now. I gladly took on the responsibility of being World Heavyweight Champion last night. It just wasn't my night. Your path remains to be a champion, keep winning. Mine is just to be ready, because you never know when a title opportunity will just fall from the sky," says CM Punk as he stares at the WWE title. CM Punk drops the mic on the canvas and leaves the ring. "Hey, Punk, just say when," says Rhodes as he holds the championship. CM Punk smiles before continuing on his way.
Finn Bálor carries out a video promo. "Last night, at WrestleMania, Dom unleashed The Demon. And The Demon ended him. But I haven't finished with The Judgment Day," he says. The Irishman hoped that Dominik Mysterio could betray him at some point, but he never thought that JD McDonagh would also. Finn met him when he was only 12 years old. He helped him grow professionally while they both became great friends. Finn knew he would always have JD's support when they were teammates in The Judgment Day. But when the time came to make a decision, McDonagh chose Mysterio. "JD, this is going to be one of those full-circle moments because I brought you into this business. But tonight, I'm going to take you out of it," he says to end his promo.
Ethan Page vs. Je'Von Evans
Evans surprises Ethan with his agility to apply a cutter. Page takes refuge in one of the corners, forcing the referee to move his opponent away. Ethan takes advantage to surprise his rival with a right hand, thus taking control of the match. Page applies a backbreaker to Je'Von before knocking him down with a back elbow. 1..2..NO. Ethan traps Evans in a ground headlock.
Je'Von frees himself to execute a dropkick on "All Ego". Evans bounces off the ropes to apply a hurricanrana. Ethan ends up at ringside, where he receives the impact of a tope. Je'Von goes after his opponent. Evans applies a chop. Page returns to the ring to take refuge in one of the corners. Ethan dodges another chop to respond harshly. Evans avoids an attack from the Bulgarian and responds with a tope. Je'Von returns to the ring, ready to finish Ethan with an OG Cutter. However, Page knocks him off the turnbuckle and finishes him with a Twisted Grin. 1..2..3.
Winner: Ethan Page
Rusev enters the ring to kick Evans. Ethan disengages from the situation and prepares to leave the ring. The Bulgarian traps Je'Von in the Accolade, at which point Penta rushes in. The Mexican launches an assault on Rusev. Penta looks to go high to finish him, but Page knocks him down. Rusev takes advantage to kick Penta with a Machka Kick. Ethan applauds Rusev. "They’re all yours," says "All Ego" before leaving. Rusev applies an Accolade to Penta before posing with his Intercontinental Championship. And with that, we reach the end of this segment.
Danhausen makes his entrance in his coffin car. Microphone in hand, Danhausen greets the Monday Night Raw fans before reminding them that John Cena carried out a "passing of the torch" at WrestleMania, which means Danhausen is now the face of the company, as well as a WWE Hall of Famer. He also now has a zeppelin. And since he is now the face of WWE, he has new demands. Danhausen wants an animated series, cereal with his name, and his face on WWE trucks. After listing his demands, Danhausen returns to his car to use a T-shirt cannon. And, as is now customary, it doesn’t work as it should. Danhausen says goodbye to the fans, asking them to spend their money on his merchandise. Otherwise, they will all be cursed. A cloud of smoke precedes the (more or less) disappearance of the eccentric character.
We see Tyrese Haliburton, Funny Marco, Paige and The Bella Twins in the front row.
The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Raquel Rodriguez, JD McDonagh and Roxanne Perez) make their entrance in full. "You deserve it!" chant the fans. Liv notes that it’s the smartest thing the Las Vegas crowd could have said, because they are in the presence of the greatest Women’s World Champion in all of history. However, before holding the proper celebration, she wants to thank her Judgment Day teammates, since without them she wouldn’t have made it this far. And, as unbelievable as it may seem, she also wants to thank Stephanie Vaquer, with whom she fought a true war this past Saturday, because she reminded her who she is. "I am the most talented woman in WWE. This is my ring! This is my division! This is my show! And this is my Women’s World Championship!" she exclaims. "And if you thought I was a mess and problematic before, just wait, because..." she adds before being interrupted.
Sol Ruca appears!
Sol heads to the ring, where she is quickly confronted by Morgan. "This isn’t NXT! This is Monday Night Raw!" exclaims the Women’s World Champion. Ruca apologizes for the interruption, but she needed to tell her that she has been an inspiration. Watching her journey over the last decade to winning the world championship made her realize something she learned at the Royal Rumble: that Morgan is the woman at the top of this division. "My sincerest congratulations, girl. You deserve it," says Ruca. "Thanks, Sol, but wow, you’ve got some nerve coming out here during my title celebration with my family," says Morgan. However, since Sol had kind words for her, she will do the same for NXT talent. "I’m going to say this as nicely as I can: YOU ARE NOT LIV MORGAN, SWEETIE," she says. Also, if she wants to make it to WrestleMania someday, she’d better leave the ring right now. Sol interrupts her, making it clear she didn’t come looking for a fight. However, the champion can be sure she won’t back down from one. Sol and Liv drop their microphones and square up. Adam Pearce appears to calm things down. The General Manager reminds them that this is the most important Raw episode of the year, and if the fans want it, they can have this match. Pearce calls Jessika Carr to ask if she can handle it. The official says yes. Carr heads to the ring. Meanwhile, Pearce announces that the match will take place right now.
Sol Ruca vs. Liv Morgan (with Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez)
Sol showcases her agility by evading Liv’s opening attack, striking her with a superkick. Ruca nimbly escapes a hurricanrana to respond with a dropkick. Sol takes Morgan down to execute a standing moonsault, but the Women’s World Champion counters by getting her knees up. Liv unleashes a barrage of offense on her grounded opponent.

Sol follows up with a Shining Wizard. 1..2..NO.
Ruca heads up top to launch herself onto Morgan, but Liv counters with a facebreaker. 1..2..NO. Sol blocks the ObLIVion to respond with a superkick. Ruca hits her with a Sol Snatcher! Morgan rolls to ringside, preventing her opponent from making the cover. Raquel and Roxy rush over to their partner. Suddenly, Sol launches herself onto all of them with a handspring moonsault! The fans go wild.
Ruca brings Morgan back into the ring, where she is checked on by Carr. Suddenly, Zaria appears out of nowhere to attack Sol, planting her with a spinebuster onto the floor! Satisfied, the Australian heads back up the entrance ramp. The official begins the ten count. Ruca makes it back just in time, only to be caught with an ObLIVion. 1..2..3.
Winner: Liv Morgan
Liv, Raquel, and Roxy celebrate on the entrance ramp when Stephanie Vaquer appears. Liv approaches "La Primera" to confront her. Morgan raises the championship in front of the Chilean as the segment comes to an end.
We see Fabolous, Maino, Dave East and Jim Jones in the front row.
We watch a video tribute to Brock Lesnar’s career.
The Vision (Paul Heyman, Logan Paul and Austin Theory) make their entrance. The fans boo them. Heyman addresses the crowd to admit that tonight’s promo has been somewhat altered by what happened yesterday at WrestleMania—something that will be etched in the fans’ hearts forever. Heyman recalls how CM Punk was "kissing the asses" of WWE production members—the same ones behind the slogan "THEN. NOW. FOREVER." "They still have my 'Beast' in the 'Now.' So to those stupid bastards in the truck and the production crew who still refuse to accept the reality that happened yesterday, let me tell you something. Please, take him out of the 'Now' and put him in the 'Forever,' because he is not the 'now'! He will 'forever' be the baddest man to ever step into a WWE ring! And the name of that 'Beast' is... BROOOOOOOOOOCK LEEEEEEEEESNAR!" Heyman exclaims.
Heyman changes the subject to focus on the tag team division, which is resurging thanks to Theory and Logan. The latter takes the microphone. The fans boo him loudly. "The Maverick" is forced to shout to be heard over the noise. "The only reason The Usos and LA Knight stole the win from my brother and me at WrestleMania was because of that ungrateful, backstabbing little weasel, IShowSpeed!" he exclaims. "I’m sick of these YouTubers and streamers who think they can come into our business and do what we do! I hate these outsiders!" Logan continues: "Nothing that happened at WrestleMania matters. Nothing! And you know why? Because IShowSpeed ended the week with a piece of my fist imprinted on his face. Austin and I ended it as your still World Tag Team Champions!"
Heyman resumes speaking to thank Gunther for the great favor he did him. "Gunther, sir. Not only do I thank you, but I’ve also realized that I owe you one. And when the time comes, I will repay it," he says. With that, he welcomes the man who delivered the assist of the night by splitting Seth Rollins in half. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back to Monday Night Raw, Bron Breakker!"
Breakker makes his entrance. His teammates welcome him in the ring. Bron takes the microphone to remind everyone that a year ago he became the leader of The Vision. The reason? Seth Rollins had become too weak. Breakker boasts about causing "The Visionary’s" defeat at the grand event. Bron hopes Seth is watching the show, because he wants him to know that he will make his life a living hell week after week. Suddenly...
BURN IT DOWN!
Seth appears behind The Vision to attack Bron with a steel chair, striking him directly in the back and head. However, the numbers are against him. Theory and Logan quickly corner Rollins in one of the turnbuckles, where they unleash a flurry of attacks. At that moment...
The Street Profits arrive on the scene!
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins take care of Theory and Logan, starting a brawl that spills into the crowd area and eventually to backstage. Meanwhile, in the ring, Bron prepares to hit Seth with a spear. Seth stops his enemy with a superkick. Rollins continues attacking Breakker, attempting to hit a stomp. Bron avoids it and responds with a spear. Breakker, now bleeding from the head, rips Seth’s shirt off. "Look at me! I never needed you, you piece of trash! I’m going to tear down everything you’ve built! These people, the whole world, will remember you as a shadow of what you once were!" he shouts. He then delivers a devastating spear. Bron stands over his fallen enemy as the segment comes to an end.
JD McDonagh responds to Finn Bálor in a video promo. JD says things have gotten serious. Tonight, it’s about the two of them. In fact, he always believed they were family, before and after The Judgment Day. However, Finn began to change, especially when he let CM Punk poison him. Bálor drifted away from the family, forcing McDonagh to make a decision. JD chose his new family, turning his back on Bálor and two decades of friendship. "It was easy. I’d do it again. Tonight, after all this time, I’m going to step out of the shadow you cast and show the world what I already know: that the Finn Bálor we all knew and loved is dead."
We see Trick Williams in the front row.
Finn Bálor vs. JD McDonagh
Finn sends McDonagh out of the ring with a clothesline while he is making his entrance. The fight continues into the crowd. Bálor keeps striking JD, who tries to escape up the arena stairs. The action moves to the barricade. Another clothesline knocks McDonagh back to ringside. Finn brings JD into the ring, where the match officially begins.
McDonagh surprises Bálor with several punches. Finn recovers to kick JD, attempting to finish him with a Coup de Grace. McDonagh avoids it and kicks his former friend, sending him to ringside. JD follows him to keep up the assault. McDonagh throws Finn into one of the ring posts. Bálor writhes in pain at ringside as the referee begins the ten count. 1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9.. Finn makes it back just in time, only for McDonagh to crash down on him with a diving elbow drop.
JD continues punishing Finn, tripping him onto the mat. McDonagh follows up with a leg drop straight to the back of the neck. JD traps him in a grounded headlock. McDonagh uses the ropes to wear Bálor down, forcing the referee to intervene. JD locks in another headlock. Bálor escapes to deliver an inverted DDT. Both men are left laid out on the mat.
Bálor continues attacking McDonagh, taking him down with a slingblade. Finn charges with a Shotgun Dropkick, but JD avoids it. McDonagh drops Finn with a headbutt. 1..2..NO. Winner: Finn Bálor
Dominik Mysterio attacks Finn from behind! Bálor recovers to launch a counterattack. Finn hits a Shotgun Dropkick on Mysterio and prepares to finish him with a Coup de Grace, but JD pulls his partner to safety just in time. Dominik and Finn stare each other down as the segment comes to an end.
Jackie Redmond interviews Gunther backstage. The Austrian feels great after his performance at WrestleMania, as he proved with actions what he had already claimed: that he is better than Seth Rollins. That said, he wants to make it clear that he has no relationship with Paul Heyman—Heyman simply owes him a big favor. He then reveals that his goal is to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship he never should have lost. LA Knight interrupts the interview to let "The Ring General" know that he is also chasing the title. "The Megastar" reminds the Austrian that both of them picked up wins at the grand event—wins they could capitalize on moving forward. He’s also convinced that opportunity has a name: "L-A-Knight. YEAH," says "The Megastar" before walking off.
Rhea Ripley says goodbye to IYO SKY backstage. "Mami" notes that she must head to SmackDown to reign as champion on the blue brand. Meanwhile, the Japanese star can take care of Raw. "Good luck. RHIYO is forever," says an emotional IYO as she hugs the Australian. Rhea tells her friend to be careful. SKY and Rhea go their separate ways. Ripley walks past Liv Morgan, who is sitting on some production crates with her world championship in hand. "We’ll definitely meet again," says Morgan. "I’ll be waiting for that moment," Rhea replies before leaving.
Roman Reigns arrives at the arena parking lot. "The OTC" heads toward the ring as the fans chant his name. Roman greets The Usos at the Gorilla Position. However, before going through the curtain, he invites them to join him. The three men appear on stage. Roman raises the World Heavyweight Championship on the entrance ramp as fireworks go off. Reigns, Jey, and Jimmy head to the ring. "OTC, OTC!" chant the fans. "Las Vegas, ACKNOWLEDGE ME!" Roman exclaims.
Reigns admits that his cousins’ presence will alter his promo tonight, as he first wants to address some family matters. Roman misses the old days. He misses the respect and admiration. He misses the time when the three of them handled business together. Separated, they are easy prey. People like CM Punk feel free to disrespect them. A rapper from the ’90s disrespects Jey Uso, and that is unacceptable. Because when they are all together, they hold true power. That’s how they stayed on top for four years. Roman doesn’t want The Usos to follow him—he just wants them by his side. "I speak for myself and my brother when I say this. OTC, you will always be our Tribal Chief. And whenever The Bloodline is in your city, everybody already knows, Uce. They the ‘2s’ and we the ‘1s,’" says Jimmy. The Usos stand beside Reigns and raise their index fingers. Suddenly...
JACOB FATU appears!
Fatu heads to the ring. "The Samoan Werewolf" stands face-to-face with Roman and The Usos. Reigns notes that it’s been a long time since he’s seen him, and if he’s out here, it can only be for two reasons. Roman assumes he’s here to acknowledge him. "No," says Jacob. Roman then understands that Fatu wants his championship. "I don’t want that title. I NEED that title," Jacob responds. "I’m not here to be Tribal Chief, but I need everything the Tribal Chief has. I need the sneaker deal. I need the private jets. I need that Rolex. I need more cars. I need a bigger house. I need to put my kids in better schools. And I’ll do whatever it takes for my family, even if I have to go through you!" he exclaims before challenging him to a title match at Backlash.
"I agree with you. I want all those things for you too. Maybe you can beat me, Jacob. But the question is: if you can beat me, can you handle the weight of this title? And we also have to look at it the other way. If you can’t beat me, can you handle the weight of having to ACKNOWLEDGE ME? Understand this, Jacob. The air up here is heavy. This is the top of the mountain. I’m going to give you the rest of the week to think about it. I’m not saying yes. I’m not saying no. But I don’t think you’re ready. So I’ll see you next week on Monday Night Raw, cousin," Roman says before leaving the ring alongside The Usos. Jacob watches them closely as the show comes to an end.
