Lola Vice makes her way to the ring. Microphone in hand, Lola recalls her important victory last week, as she not only defeated Jacy Jayne, but also made a statement in her first title defense. Vice points out that the hardest part of being a champion isn’t winning the title, but keeping it. Especially in a division as competitive as NXT’s. All the women want her championship, and she likes that—even if it means seeing them as potential threats. Lola believes this position will allow her to reach WrestleMania someday. Vice hopes to be the most real and honest champion in NXT history. Lola makes it clear to anyone who steps up that they will be entering her world—one where they must be ready for a fight. "You can try, but all you’ll get is knocked out and then danced over", says "The Mami of Miami".
¡The Culling interrupts the promo!
Izzi Dame thanks Lola for considering her a threat—because she is. Dame hopes Vice has noticed how the women’s locker room has been looking at her since she won the gold. Izzi assures her she’ll be ready to capitalize on the first mistake Lola makes, because she has no doubt it will happen. Dame also makes it clear she won’t be entering "Vice City" as the champion suggests, but rather a land of insecurities.
Lola hopes Izzi takes the opportunity she’s been waiting for, because then she’ll be able to kick her ass. "Don’t tempt me with a good time, Mamacita, because we’re always two or three steps ahead. And that’s exactly why I’ll be NXT Champion", says Izzi. Niko Vance and Shawn Spears surround Lola. Vance tries to snatch the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship hanging from her waist, creating a distraction that allows Dame to knock her out with a big boot. Izzi picks up the NXT Championship to pose with it over a hurting Vice. And so, we reach the end of this segment.
Sarah Schreiber interviews Lexis King and the rest of BirthRight backstage. King is proud of capturing the WWE Speed Championship. But this is just the beginning, as they won’t stop until the entire faction is draped in gold—because it’s their birthright. An annoyed EK Prosper interrupts the interview to demand a rematch from King, arguing that if it weren’t for his teammates, the championship wouldn’t be in his possession. Charlie Dempsey advises EK Prosper to accept the loss and asks him not to question the integrity of their faction. Dorian Van Dux appears on the scene to remind EK Prosper that BirthRight will never play fair. That said, he offers to team up with him against two members of BirthRight. Uriah Connors tells him it’s a bad idea—facing generational talents like them will only end their careers before they even begin. Arianna Grace accepts Van Dux’s request. The TNA Knockouts World Champion notes that they can make the match official thanks to her connections. However, they’ll have to wait until next week, as they have a celebration planned for tonight. BirthRight leaves, bringing the segment to a close.

"I’m not kidding!" shouts "The Absolute". "Come on, guys. I already gave you the match. What are you doing?" he asks Saints. Saints hands Hill’s phone to the General Manager before delivering one final message to his enemy. "I’ll get you next week!" he exclaims before leaving. Stone immediately calls for medical assistance to tend to Shiloh.
We return from commercial to see Robert Stone walking backstage. Sarah Schreiber approaches him to ask about Shiloh Hill. The General Manager informs her that the wrestler is still being attended to by the medical team, so he cannot provide an update. Stone continues on his way and runs into Tony D'Angelo, who receives a mysterious package marked with an oriental symbol. Stone promises D’Angelo that next week he’ll have a clearer idea about his next challenger for the NXT Championship. Keanu Carver appears. "Was this you?" Tony asks as he shows him the package. "No. If I want something, I take it," Carver replies. "That right there is a symbol of war. I’ll tell you this place is full of sharks swimming in circles. You, especially, should be ready", says Keanu before leaving. Stone confirms Carver’s words, assuring D’Angelo that his phone hasn’t stopped ringing. And so, we reach the end of this segment.
