Damian Priest and R-Truth will defend the Tag Team Championships on WWE SmackDown

WWE will celebrate tonight the episode of Friday Night SmackDown following WrestleMania 42. The show will take place at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, and will feature the appearance of some of the main event stars, including Rhea Ripley, Jacob Fatu, Brie Bella, Paige, Trick Williams, and Lil Yachty. Additionally, Giulia will defend the United States Women's Championship. But it won't be the only title on the line.

According to WrestleVotes as reported by Fightful Select, Damian Priest and R-Truth will defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against JC Mateo and Tama Tonga from MFT. It is worth noting that Solo Sikoa, leader of the faction, already announced last week that he would speak with Nick Aldis to secure a title opportunity and continue with the goal of winning all possible gold for the group.

This will be the third occasion in which R-Truth and Damian Priest defend the titles in their first reign as a team. And they will do so precisely against the two men they took them from 35 days ago. So far, WWE has not officially announced the match.
