Triple H will remain linked to WWE for the next few years, as reported by the specialized media outlet Fightful. Nick Khan, president of WWE, was present at an open company meeting held today, Monday. During the meeting, Khan praised Triple H for his work, stating that he will continue in his role as Chief Operating Officer. These statements led the media to contact their sources within the company, who suggested that HHH recently reached a new long-term agreement with WWE/TKO.

The news comes at a delicate moment for the company, heavily criticized by fans due to unpopular measures such as the high ticket prices or the recent wave of layoffs that has affected around twenty talents, including Kairi Sane, Motor City Machine Guns, and The Wyatt Sicks in full.

In addition to praising Triple H's work leading WWE's creative team, Khan also defended the company from online criticism, stating that it came from a "loud minority". Statements that Triple H himself has made in the past to defend the company's creative direction.

Triple H has held the position of Chief Operating Officer/Chief Content Officer since 2022, when Vince McMahon was forced to resign after allegations of diverting funds to silence victims of alleged abuses in WWE came to light. Before his promotion, Triple H was the executive vice president of Talent Relations, which led him to oversee the NXT brand.

Triple H has been with the company for three decades. He debuted in 1995 as a wrestler, a facet that led him to become one of the biggest superstars in the company's history. Over time, he began to work backstage, starting as a senior executive advisor in 2010. His heart problems prevented him from continuing to compete, leading him to announce his retirement at WrestleMania 38. Since then, he has focused entirely on his role leading the creative team.
