NXT's PLEs have found a new television home in the United States. WWE and The CW have reached an agreement for the well-known network to exclusively broadcast the special events from the developmental territory, starting with The Great American Bash at the end of the summer. This was announced by both parties in an official statement.

"April 28, 2026 - The CW Network and WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), announced today that all NXT's Premium Live Events (PLEs) will now be exclusively broadcast on The CW. Starting with The Great American Bash at the end of this summer, The CW will broadcast 20 PLEs in their entirety live on both coasts over the next few years, including Stand and Deliver, Deadline, and Vengeance Day. With the addition of NXT's PLEs to The CW's programming, the network becomes the exclusive home of all NXT programming - featuring WWE's most prominent emerging superstars - also airing live weekly NXT episodes every Tuesday night. WWE will continue to produce all PLEs.

"WWE NXT has revitalized our Tuesday nights by consistently delivering a loyal and passionate fan base to The CW every week", stated Brad Schwartz, President of The CW Network. "The addition of WWE NXT's Premium Live Events to our programming is a natural fit, providing a unique broadcast destination where viewers can enjoy their favorite superstars, stories, and championship matches".

The CW signed a five-year agreement with WWE in October 2024 to bring NXT to free-to-air television for the first time in the program's history. Its debut on free-to-air television achieved the program's highest viewership since October 2023 and was the number 1 broadcast of the year on The CW among adults aged 25-54 and 18-49. As the exclusive home of NXT, The CW airs 52 live weekly events during the season every Tuesday night from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. NXT's programming features a cast full of emerging talent, including NXT Champion Tony D'Angelo and NXT Women's Champion Lola Vice.

"The CW has played a key role in elevating the profile of our emerging superstars, and we are excited to bring NXT's Premium Live Events to free-to-air television for the first time in history", stated Shawn Michaels, WWE's Senior Vice President of Creative Talent Development.

Launched by WWE's Head of Content, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, NXT has been airing weekly since 2012 and showcases the most promising young talents in sports entertainment. Several participants from WrestleMania 42 were trained under the NXT brand, including Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch. Under Michaels' direction, NXT on The CW has showcased the rise of several up-and-coming WWE superstars, including Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Tiffany Stratton, Roxanne Perez, Je'Von Evans, and Sol Ruca".

Until last month, NXT's PLEs were broadcast on Peacock in the United States. With the agreement expired, WWE decided to broadcast the Stand & Deliver event for free on its official YouTube channel. Meanwhile, in the rest of the world, the developmental brand's programs (including PLEs) are broadcast on Netflix.
