The CW and Netflix will air a new episode of WWE NXT tonight, with Vic Joseph and Booker T at the commentary table, live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. This will be the first show of the developmental brand after the Revenge special, and will feature several interesting matches, including a new defense of the North American Championship.
On the other hand, we will find out the next opponent for Tony D'Angelo, current NXT Champion. In addition, Ricky Saints will face Shiloh Hill in what could be his last match in the developmental brand before his jump to the WWE SmackDown roster. As always, we invite you to comment on the article to give your opinion on what happened in the show.
WWE NXT starts on Netflix!
We see a video recap of the two-night NXT Revenge event.
The show begins with a backstage meeting. Robert Stone, Matt Bloom, and Shawn Michaels discuss the state of NXT after WrestleMania 42. Stone lists the talents from the brand that have been called up to the main roster. Now it's necessary for others to fill the void left by the promoted talents. Robert acknowledges that he has received many calls about this, but he believes it's time to bring new faces to the brand. Bloom points out that many international talents want an opportunity in NXT. Michaels, on the other hand, reminds Stone that the brand has been through this before. So, they just need to do what they always do. Shawn notes that the General Manager can carefully choose the next talents to compete in NXT, or he can throw a "stick of dynamite" in the locker room to see what happens. "I like that idea," Stone confesses.
NXT North American Championship Match

Myles brings Shugars back into the ring, where he is attended to by the referee. James prevents Borne from returning to the ring, only to receive a punch from the champion. Myles returns to the ring, where he ends up falling into the clutches of his opponent. Shugars hits the champion's shoulder against one of the posts before executing a rope dropkick. Myles is left lying on the ground, where he receives assistance from the referee.

Both men argue, a moment that Myles takes advantage of to push Shugars, who collides with Dion. Borne performs a body drop on Saquon, who lands on the floor. After that, he throws Dion into the metal stairs. Myles brings Shugars back into the ring, where he finishes him off with a ZigZag. 1..2..3.
Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion: Myles Borne
Tristan Angels interrupts Borne's celebration from the stands. The wrestler introduces himself as "Mr. England." "But don't let my good looks deceive you, because today I'm here as a courtesy to inform you and all these people that you're going to see a lot, a lot more of Tristan Angels in NXT from now on," Angels says before warning the champion that something is approaching him from behind.
Kam Hendrix surprises Borne!
Hendrix performs an uranage on the champion. "This is my show! This is Kam Hendrix's damn show! Let the show begin!," exclaims Hendrix as he poses over his victim.
Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair converse in the women's locker room. Kelani Jordan approaches them to show her dissatisfaction with Grey and the two parts of NXT Chronicle she starred in, but didn't deserve. Not like her, who has won several championships and is the woman to beat in the brand. Kendal reminds her that she was defeated by Lola Vice in an Underground Match. Wren acknowledges that Grey couldn't win at Stand & Deliver, but she also didn't get the three count, so she deserves another title shot. Jordan doesn't understand how Sinclair still doesn't realize that there are no friends in NXT, adding that Kendal will eventually turn her back on her just like Charlie Dempsey did. "Instead of worrying about the NXT Champion, how about you worry about this champion?," asks an annoyed Wren as she points to her WWE Speed Championship. Far from backing down, Jordan challenges Sinclair to a match later that night, but without the championship on the line, as she just wants to humiliate her in front of her friend. As for Kendal, she hopes she's present to see how she shines. Kelani leaves to end the segment.
Tony D'Angelo makes his way to the ring. "Tony, Tony!" chant the fans. With a microphone in hand, D'Angelo points out that NXT is constantly changing. Numerous talents debut in the brand and then disappear. But not him. He has been a constant in NXT since he arrived at this place. Now he finds himself at the top of the mountain and there's no one tough enough to bring him down. And that includes the person who sent him a mysterious box last week. Tony is very curious to know the identity of the sender, because he knows perfectly well that it wasn't a gift, but a warning. Suddenly, the lights in the arena go out...
A hooded figure appears. Slowly, it heads to the ring, with fans trying to figure out who it is. The hooded figure stands in front of Tony to deliver another gift, this time a black cloth with the same symbol as last week's box. At that moment, the hooded figure reveals its face. It's EVIL! He bows in front of the champion before retreating backstage.
Suddenly, Tavion Heights appears out of nowhere to attack D'Angelo! Heights performs a belly-to-belly on the champion. Tavion exits the ring to head back to backstage. "I won't ask for anything else! I'll take it! I'm coming for everything I deserve! And I deserve it all! I'm going to show you exactly who I am!," shouts Heights to the camera. At that moment, the attention returns to the ring, where an unknown individual performs a moonsault on Tony. The attacker leaves the ring, leaving D'Angelo lying and confused on the mat.
We see a video recorded last night in a cemetery. Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill symbolically buried Blake Monroe's career in NXT. "Shiloh, I didn't want to do it. She made me. I had to end her. At least I won't have to hear her voice anymore," said Paxley. "They don't call it a soundproof coffin for nothing, right, Blake?," Shiloh asked, looking into the hole in the ground. Paxley and Hill laughed as they clinked their shovels. "Seriously, I hope her soul finds peace, wherever it goes," said Shiloh. Tatum admitted that, in a way, she also hoped for it. Paxley sat on the ground, acknowledging that her NXT Women's North American Championship awakens a "survival mode" in her. "Sometimes, when we strive so hard to achieve something, it seems to become a part of us, and when that is threatened, it's as if someone is threatening you. You're one of those people who establish very strong bonds with things and people. That's what makes it so fun to be with you," said Hill. Tatum thanked her for providing such an interesting perspective. With that, she asked her friend about her match against Ricky Saints. Hill admitted he was very excited, as it is the most important singles match of his career. Shiloh claimed to have simulated that match until finding the way he will get the victory. With that, he pointed out that he had to leave. Paxley wished him luck before lying down next to "The Glamour" grave.
BirthRight makes their entrance to the ring. Lexis King boasts about her title victory last week before announcing that the tag team match scheduled for tonight has been canceled after Dorian Van Dux suffered an unfortunate mishap. King introduces a video on the arena screen. In it, we see Arianna Grace, with a mobile phone in hand, recording her teammates after attacking Van Dux, who writhes in pain on the ground.
Furious, EK Prosper rushes into the ring to launch an assault on BirthRight. However, he quickly succumbs to the numerical superiority of his enemies. Suddenly, Sean Legacy bursts onto the scene! Legacy enters the ring to join forces with EK Prosper. Both manage to get rid of all their enemies, at which point a referee arrives.

"Stacks" hits EK Prosper with a Flatliner, and Connors finishes him with a Swanton Bomb. 1..2..NO. Sean interrupts the count with a double footstomp. The action descends into chaos again. Legacy gets rid of Uriah with a standing Spanish fly, while Lorenzo receives a moonsault from EK Prosper. Sean finishes "Stacks" with the Shambles. 1..2..3.

BirthRight launches an assault on EK Prosper and Legacy as soon as the match ends. Suddenly, Tate Wilder bursts onto the scene! Wilder joins forces with EK Prosper and Sean to fend off BirthRight. They try to return to the ring, but the arrival of several security members prevents it. Thus, we reach the end of this segment.
We move to the women's locker room, where Jaida Parker has a conversation with Thea Hail about the influx of new talent in NXT. Kali Armstrong approaches them to ask Parker if she's afraid of the competition. Jaida makes it clear that she's not easily scared, warning her to be careful with what she says. "Or what?" challenges Kali. Thea advises her not to continue down that path. "That's the problem with women in this locker room," says Armstrong, addressing everyone present. "Kali Armstrong will be the one to make a difference here. And if I have to start with Jaida Parker, so be it," says the former WWE Evolve champion. Jaida confronts Kali. The tension between the two women escalates, but the intervention of their teammates prevents a confrontation.
We return backstage, where Robert Stone talks with Tate Wilder. He assures the General Manager that he is fully prepared to seize the opportunity. Stone shakes his hand and welcomes him to NXT. Tate leaves, and Lola Vice appears. The NXT Women's Champion informs the General Manager that she will come out to address Izzi Dame. "Come here. Show me what you've got," she says.
Shawn Spears interrupts Vice from the arena screen. Spears points out that the only way Lola can retain her championship is by staying one step ahead, because that's what The Culling does. Izzi Dame and Niko Vance appear behind Vice. "Oh, it looks like you caught me again," says Lola as she backs up towards the ropes. Vice smiles, completely disorienting Dame and Vance. At that moment, Mr. Iguana appears behind the heels! Mr. Iguana and Lola join forces to expel The Culling members from the ring. The AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions celebrate as the segment comes to an end.
Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars argue backstage after what happened tonight. Shugars suggests that Lennox got what he wanted at the cost of his title. Dion assures him he was trying to help. The argument continues, with both men blaming each other. Cutler James yells at them to stop arguing. James points out that they’ve been doing things their way and it hasn’t worked, so it’s time to change strategy. "Now we have a new plan. Our first gold was the tag titles, right? Well, we’re going to win them back", says Cutler before leaving with Osiris Griffin. Shugars and Lennox remain silent as the segment comes to an end.

Borne points out that this attitude isn’t like him. Tavion wonders if Myles thinks they can’t both shine in NXT. Besides, what he did tonight isn’t much different from what Borne did to Ethan Page to get his title opportunity. "Now that you have that title, you act different", says Tavion. Myles assures him that’s not the case, but rather the current “open doors” state NXT is in, with new talents emerging everywhere. "You can add me to that list, champ," says Heights before walking away. Myles turns around to come face to face with Keanu Carver. "Look, last week I told Tony something. Now I’m telling you. This place is full of sharks circling, but you’ve never seen the GREAT white shark," says Carver before leaving.
The Vanity Project talk backstage. Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor boast about being at the top of the tag division while plenty of new talents chase singles opportunities. Meanwhile, Jackson Drake is happy to have Micah. "Since last week, I feel on top of the world. No one can touch us. I can conquer anything", says the former WWE Evolve Champion. Jasper Troy approaches Drake. Troy thinks Jackson talks a lot but has little to show for it. "Your guys are lucky to have the titles. You’re focused on your dating apps. What you need is to win gold", says Jasper. "What did you just say?" Jackson asks as he gets in Troy’s face. "Looks like someone got triggered. If you’re so eager to go out with someone, how about you and me next week?" Troy asks before leaving.
