After leaving STARDOM, Rossy Ogawa embarked on a new business venture that led him to found MARIGOLD, a new women's wrestling promotion where some of the best talents in Japan have competed, including names like MIRAI, Mai Sakurai, Utami Hayashishita, Mayu Iwatani, Giulia, Sareee, and even IYO SKY.

However, the promotion still does not have a truly established "face," something that Ogawa himself hopes will change in the future, with the current World Champion of the company, Miku Aono, being the main candidate to take on that role. This was explained by the president of MARIGOLD in statements to BBM Sports.

"Miku Aono is doing the best she can, but I believe she has even more potential... She is still far from showing everything she can give. I don't even think she herself knows how strong she really is... Lately, she has been going on promotional tours alone to different regions. I think she is going to become the face of the company. She has such a closeness with people that everyone who knows her ends up becoming a fan," he said.

The interviewer compared Aono to NJPW president Hiroshi Tanahashi, who regularly appears in the media to promote the company. "Exactly. I think she is going to become the face of the company. She is not intimidated and has class. She is the type of person we can promote as the 'ace' of the company and its representative image," Ogawa responded.

Miku Aono is one of the original talents of MARIGOLD, competing for the promotion since its first show. Over the past two years, Aono has established several records in the company, such as being crowned the inaugural Unified National Champion of MARIGOLD. She is currently the World Champion of the promotion, a title she took from Utami Hayashishita at MARIGOLD Grand Destiny last October. Her next title defense will be against Maddy Morgan at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo later this month.
