WWE Raw will have a busy agenda this Monday, May 4th, from the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, with a contract signing between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu for Backlash. Adam Pearce hinted that the encounter will "go perfectly well," making it clear the ironic tone with which WWE is building the rivalry.
Additionally, Pearce confirmed that Oba Femi's Open Challenge will continue on the show, asking who in Omaha will dare to answer the champion's challenge. The lineup also includes a tag team match between Je'Von Evans and Penta against Rusev and Ethan Page, and a rematch between JD McDonagh and Finn Bálor.
Pearce also mentioned that he will try to get Asuka and IYO SKY to "get everything out" before their match at Backlash. Meanwhile, Sol Ruca will make her official debut on the red brand after recently debuting on Raw following WrestleMania.
Monday's event will be an important stop on the road to Backlash, with the focus on Reigns, Fatu, and the rest of the stories that WWE wants to wrap up before the event.
