WWE is celebrating a new episode of Monday Night Raw tonight, this time number 1,719, from the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This will be the last show of the brand before WWE Backlash and will be broadcast live on Netflix. Solowrestling will bring you the results in this news as every week.
Tonight's episode will feature several matches and segments of interest, including the contract signing for the match between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu at Backlash. Additionally, the first open challenge of Oba Femi will take place. As always, we invite you to comment on the article to give your opinion on what happened on the show.
WWE Raw starts on Netflix!
We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists at the venue: Oba Femi, Original El Grande Americano and (with Julio and Bruto Americano), Sol Ruca, Penta, and Je'Von Evans.
An SUV arrives at the venue's parking lot. From inside, Roman Reigns gets out, quickly heading towards the ring. Adam Pearce approaches him with the contract for his Backlash match in hand. However, "The OTC" ignores the General Manager to continue his path. Once in the Gorilla Position, Roman orders his theme music to start playing and asks where Jacob Fatu is. Pearce informs him that "The Samoan Werewolf" has not arrived yet, which is precisely what he was trying to tell him all this time. Suddenly, Reigns encounters Seth Rollins. Both men silently observe each other. "You're in my way", says "The Visionary" before making his entrance.
Bron Breakker attacks Rollins from behind on the entrance ramp!
Breakker continues to hit Rollins, throwing him over the audience barrier. Many officials and security members rush in to stop Bron. He gets rid of security before returning for Seth, whom he throws against the metal stairs. Breakker takes Rollins inside the ring, where Adam Pearce orders him to return backstage. Bron pretends to obey, but quickly runs back into the ring to execute a spear on his enemy. "One More Time!", chant the fans. Satisfied, Bron exits the ring to return backstage. Meanwhile, a hurt Seth is attended to on the canvas.
We move to The Judgment Day's clubhouse. Liv Morgan boasts about Stephanie Vaquer's injury, which is one less problem to worry about. However, there are not-so-positive news they need to address. "Like, what the hell was Finn doing in the clubhouse last week?", she asks. Roxanne Perez assures her she doesn't know. Morgan makes it clear she's not worried about Bálor, as JD McDonagh will take care of him tonight. The one she's concerned about is Roxy. Why did Finn want to talk to her alone? And more importantly: why did Liv have to find out by watching Netflix and not directly from her partner? "Well, I didn't say anything because I made it very clear to Finn. I told him to leave the clubhouse and never come back", replies "The Prodigy". She acknowledges she should have said something about it, but Liv should know she's loyal to The Judgment Day. Morgan is glad to hear that, and hopes Roxanne and Raquel Rodriguez become the next WWE Tag Team Champions. However, she needs Perez to promise she will never hide a secret from The Judgment Day family again. "I promise", says Roxy. "Promise what?", asks a smiling Liv. "I promise I will never hide any secret from The Judgment Day family again", replies Perez. "Good", says Morgan as she caresses her companion's chin. Liv leaves with JD and Dominik, leaving Raquel and a pensive Roxanne behind.
Finn Bálor vs. JD McDonagh (with Dominik Mysterio)
Both men exchange holds, locks, and counters to start the match. JD takes Finn towards the ropes. The referee orders McDonagh to step away from his opponent. Dominik tries to grab one of Finn's legs. He gets distracted, a moment JD seizes to surprise him. McDonagh charges with Bálor against one of the corners. Meanwhile, fans boo the AAA Megachampion.
JD focuses his offense on Finn's left ankle. He escapes a sunset flip to respond with a dropkick. Bálor throws McDonagh out of the ring with a clothesline before running towards the ropes on the opposite side for momentum, but Mysterio intervenes again. The distraction allows JD to return to hit his opponent, who falls to ringside. At that moment, Roxanne Perez makes her entrance.
Finn manages to return to the ring before the referee (Jessika Carr) counts to ten. However, JD was waiting for him to greet him with a diving elbow. 1..2..NO. McDonagh traps his opponent in a headlock. Finn frees himself to launch a counterattack, but it comes to an end when his rival violently throws him against one of the corners. "JD stinks!", chant the fans. McDonagh executes a side slam on his opponent. 1..2..NO.
JD punishes Bálor with the help of the ropes, forcing Carr to intervene. Dominik takes advantage to throw a punch at Finn, earning once again the boos from the fans. The action continues while Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan make their entrance. Finn surprises JD with an inverted DDT. Meanwhile, Liv whispers something to Dominik. Bálor continues to control the match.
Finn applies a slingblade to JD, a moment Dominik gets on the apron. Bálor quickly gets rid of him. McDonagh takes advantage of the distraction to surprise Finn with a roll-up. 1..2..NO. JD surprises his opponent with a standing Spanish fly! 1..2..NO. The action doesn't stop. Finn kicks McDonagh before looking for height. Raquel gets on the apron to distract Carr, a moment Dominik uses to make Finn fall. The official turns to see Bálor lying on the canvas. She immediately senses what just happened and expels the AAA Megachampion from ringside.
JD sets up Finn near one of the corners to execute a moonsault, but his rival stops him with his knees. Finn continues with a slingblade before preparing for his next move. At that moment, Liv gets on the apron to get Carr's attention. Meanwhile, she hands a hammer to Roxanne. Bálor executes a Shotgun Dropkick on McDonagh. Finn prepares to climb one of the corners, but Perez hits him with the hammer. JD finishes his opponent with a headbutt to cover him. 1..2..3.
Winner: JD McDonagh
The Judgment Day (except Dominik Mysterio) pose over Finn to end this segment.
Jackie Redmond interviews a hurt Seth Rollins backstage. "Jackie. Backlash is in five days. I'll be fine", says Seth when the interviewer asks him about what happened tonight. "Last week I told the kid (referring to Bron Breakker), 'if you take your chances, you better finish the job'... I'm not dead yet", Rollins adds before leaving.
Byron Saxton interviews The Americans in the stands area. Rayo wonders how they went from dealing with a "shorty" to dealing with three. "Bruto. Julio. You guys are clowns. You guys are goblins. You guys are Pedro and Pablo, The Flintstones. You have no culture, just like these people here", says Rayo as he points to the stands. "Kiss me a lot!", he exclaims. "Kiss my ass!", Rayo adds. El Grande Americano, on his part, addresses Original El Grande Americano in English, because everyone already knows he can't speak Spanish. El Grande Americano assures him he doesn't exactly know what he signed last Saturday in AAA, as the conditions of his contract for his match in "Night of the Greats" are only valid in Mexico. That's why tonight he'll be able to get his hands on him and show the whole world who the real Grande Americano is.
We move backstage, where Bron Breakker and Austin Theory mock Joe Hendry and his "duck" voice. Meanwhile, a furious Logan Paul paces back and forth. Paul Heyman appears on the scene. "Is Seth Rollins still breathing?", he asks Bron. "He is", Breakker replies. Logan interrupts them to promise that Hendry will stop breathing tonight. "The Maverick" plans to send him to the hospital to stay there permanently. Heyman understands how he feels, and that's why tonight it won't be him facing the Scotsman. Heyman reminds him that Bron was almost suspended and that he has lost Brock Lesnar, so he won't let Logan end up in prison. That said, he informs him that it will be Theory who will face Hendry tonight. Austin promises his partner that he will take care of hurting Joe. "Relax. You're Logan Paul. Okay? Let's finish them all, one by one", says Bron. The members of The Vision fist bump to end this segment.
Tag Team Match
Penta and Je'Von Evans vs. Ethan Page and Rusev
Je'Von and Rusev start the fight. The Bulgarian charges his opponent against one of the corners, where he unleashes a rain of corner spears. Evans stops Rusev's offense with a kick to start a counterattack. However, the Bulgarian quickly puts an end to it. Ethan receives the tag to continue the fight, but soon his opponent recovers. Je'Von applies a suplex to Page before facing off with Rusev.
Penta receives the tag to continue the fight. Penta applies a Pendulum to Ethan before teaming up with Je'Von. Both throw Rusev out of the ring. Evans jumps on the Bulgarian. Meanwhile, the masked man applies a Penta Driver to "All Ego". 1..2...NO. Rusev enters the ring, forcing the referee to intervene. Penta quickly throws himself at the Bulgarian, a moment Ethan uses to attack him from behind. Thus, the heels regain control.
Rusev unleashes a series of kicks on Penta in one of the corners. "All Ego" mocks the Mexican, who is quickly caught in a headlock. Penta tries to reach Evans, but the Bulgarian doesn't allow it. Rusev throws Penta against his corner before giving the tag to Ethan. Both he and Rusev take turns hitting the Intercontinental Champion. "Come on, Penta!", chant the fans.
Penta ends up at ringside. Rusev goes after him to bring him back, a moment the Mexican uses to surprise him with a kick. Penta crawls to his corner, but the Bulgarian makes Je'Von fall to prevent him from receiving the tag. Page throws himself at Penta. Meanwhile, Je'Von dodges a charge from Rusev, who hits the metal stairs. Evans receives the tag to unleash an offensive on Ethan, to whom he applies a German suplex.
Je'Von jumps with a tope on Rusev before returning to the ring, where he executes a springboard clothesline on "All Ego". 1..2..NO. Page dodges a moonsault to respond with a kick. Ethan executes a big boot to which Je'Von responds with a springboard enzuigiri. 1..2..NO. Rusev interrupts the count. Je'Von and Rusev take the action to ringside. Evans looks for height on one of the corners to jump on Rusev, but Ethan makes him fall.
Penta surprises Ethan with a superkick. Page ends up at ringside. Penta tries to jump on "All Ego", but he moves the ring skirt so the Mexican falls on the apron. Rusev catches the Mexican to apply a chokeslam on the commentator's table. After that, he brings him back into the ring, where Page finishes him with a modified fisherman's suplex. 1..2..3.
Winners: Ethan Page and Rusev
Page and Rusev celebrate animatedly in the ring to end this segment.
Byron Saxton interviews JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio in the stands area. McDonagh claims to be tired of hearing that Finn Bálor is his mentor. JD makes it clear that Bálor didn't teach him anything. In fact, the only good thing he did for him was to introduce him to Dominik and bring him into The Judgment Day. McDonagh assures they are smarter than Bálor, and they have shown they don't need him for anything. Now they will prove why Raw belongs to them. Byron asks them about The Judgment Day's unity. Mysterio snatches the microphone from Saxton to respond. The fans boo him. Dominik recalls that JD has defeated Finn Bálor in the ring, that he is still the AAA Megachampion, that Liv Morgan is the best champion of all time, that Roxanne Perez has helped McDonagh and The Judgment Day win tonight, and that soon she will be the tag team champion alongside Raquel Rodriguez. And when they do, it will be one more proof that The Judgment Day rules WWE Raw. Dominik drops the microphone on the floor to end the interview.
We move to the ring, where Adam Pearce welcomes Sol Ruca. She makes her entrance with a new theme song. The fans welcome her warmly. "Congratulations, Sol", says Adam before handing her the Raw superstar contract. "Damn. It's going to be awesome when I sign this and officially become part of Monday Night Raw", says Sol. Suddenly...
Becky Lynch interrupts the segment!
"The Man" addresses Pearce directly to point out that someone told him this segment was meant for her post-WrestleMania celebration. Adam wants to know who said such a thing. Lynch replies that it was someone trustworthy. Becky also confronts the General Manager for forcing her to defend the Intercontinental Championship last week against "IYO Jannety." And no, there was no controversy in her victory because she is the greatest wrestler of all time. And it’s not just her saying it. It’s... "Are you finished?" Ruca interrupts before making it clear that not everything revolves around her.
Becky understands. It’s Sol’s first day on the brand, but she’ll soon realize that, indeed, everything revolves around her. "Everyone knows who you are. I know who you are. I know everything you’ve done. And I know everything you’ve achieved. The thing is that, when I met you, I didn’t expect to discover that you are exactly who everyone says you are," says Ruca. "The Man? The greatest of all time? Legendary?..." Lynch asks. "No, no, no. An arrogant, rude bitch. And it’s not just me saying it. The New York Times says it, Sports Illustrated...," says Sol. Annoyed, Becky doesn’t understand how Pearce, and even the fans, allow Ruca to speak to her that way. "Ruca, Ruca!" chants the crowd. Sol quickly signs her contract before issuing a warning to the Intercontinental Champion: "I’m Sol Ruca. And if you EVER interrupt me again, I won’t just kick your ass—I’ll RIP your soul out". Sol hands the document to Pearce, at which point Lynch takes the opportunity to throw a punch. Ruca dodges it, causing the blow to hit Pearce instead. "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?" a furious Adam shouts. Becky tries to apologize to the General Manager, which Ruca takes advantage of to knock out the Irishwoman with a Sol Snatcher. Ruca poses for the fans while "The Man" remains laid out on the mat.
Jackie Redmond interviews The Usos backstage. Redmond asks them about their feelings ahead of the contract signing taking place tonight. "Oh, it’s a big night, Jackie. A big night," Jimmy replies before assuring they wouldn’t miss this signing for anything in the world. "Look, we love Jacob, but he needs to understand how OTC does business, especially when there’s a world championship involved". Jey, for his part, makes it clear that this is simply a family matter. Roman knows how to take care of himself, so they’ll stay backstage unless their presence is needed. "Jacob, we already told you, Uce. You’re swimming in deep waters. You’ve gotten yourself into something way too big just to make a statement, Uce. And while we respect that, we’re also telling you that The Bloodline has been called, and at Backlash you’ll find out who you’ve messed with, Jacob. Good luck, little cousin. YEET," says Jey. The Usos head into Roman’s private locker room to end the interview.
Joe Hendry makes his entrance. The Scotsman grabs a guitar with the aim of singing a song during the next commercial break. Joe recalls that last week he was interrupted while performing his song about Logan Paul, so tonight he wants to finish it. Hendry sings his theme with the fans joining in. "Paul, Paul. Can we fire Logan Paul?" goes the chorus. "He’s an incredible athlete, but he’s a piece of trash. He can shove his trading cards straight up his ass. Paul. Paul. Can we fire Logan Paul?", the song continues.
Furious, "The Maverick" interrupts the concert, making it clear that no one can fire him. "I’m indispensable! TKO can’t fire me because I’m profitable! I am the heart and soul of WWE!" Logan exclaims. Hendry is glad he came out, because now comes the best part of the song. "Paul, Paul. Can we fire Logan Paul?" Joe sings again. Logan orders Theory to get into the ring, or he’ll do it himself. Austin rushes toward the Scotsman to attack him, but his opponent quickly sends him out of the ring.
Joe Hendry vs. Austin Theory (with Logan Paul)
Paul climbs onto the apron to distract Joe. This allows Austin to attack him from behind and take control of the match. Theory hits a backbreaker on Hendry. Joe tries to respond, but his opponent violently throws him into one of the turnbuckles. "Logan sucks!" the fans chant. Meanwhile, Theory takes Joe down with a suplex. Austin mocks the crowd before setting up another suplex, but Joe blocks it and executes one of his own. Hendry continues his assault on Theory, hitting a Freak of Nature. Joe turns toward the camera, at which point Logan attacks him from behind.
Winner by disqualification: Joe Hendry
Hendry tries to fight back, but he can’t do anything against two opponents. Suddenly...
The Street Profits rush onto the scene!
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins take out Logan before teaming up against Theory. Dawkins lifts Austin onto his shoulders, ready to execute a Doomsday Blockbuster with Ford. However, Bron Breakker storms into the ring to attack both of them!
Now it’s Seth Rollins who surprises Breakker, sending him crashing into the steel steps! Rollins brings Bron back into the ring, where he prepares to finish him off with a stomp. At that moment, Montez runs toward "The Visionary," leaping over him and landing onto Logan and Austin. Seth is distracted by what just happened, allowing a recovered Breakker to catch the former world champion off guard with a spear. Bron crouches next to "The Visionary." "I almost had you. You were this close", says Breakker as he brings his index finger and thumb close together. And that’s how this segment comes to an end.
Jackie Redmond interviews The Judgment Day in full backstage. Liv Morgan recalls what they did to Stephanie Vaquer last week and what happened to Finn Bálor tonight to make it clear that their goal is for every member of the faction to have gold around their waist. Liv points out that it’s time for Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez to regain the tag team titles. Raquel sends a direct message to Brie Bella and Paige, promising that their little one-night nostalgia tour will soon come to an end. "I want both of you to come to our show, because Roxanne and I..." Rodriguez says before being interrupted by Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. "The Role Model" wonders if the members of The Judgment Day can win any match without outside help. "I’ve known you for a long time, but now I’m starting to understand how this works," she says. Valkyria hasn’t forgotten what they did to them last week. And since they seem like a happy family, they shouldn’t be afraid to face them. "One big happy family. Family helps each other win. You losers should try it. Goodbye", Morgan says before leaving with her teammates.
Oba Femi makes his entrance. "Ooooooooooooba, Ooooooooooooba!" the fans chant as the Nigerian heads to the ring. "The time has come. Oba Femi’s open challenge starts now", says "The Ruler."
Alpha Academy (Akira Tozawa, Otis and Maxxine Dupri) appear on stage with Tozawa leading the way! Oba can’t help but laugh. The Japanese star stands in front of Oba, but quickly realizes the difference in level between them. Akira steps aside to give his spot to Otis, who gladly accepts.
Oba Femi vs. Otis
Otis tries to take Oba down, but without success. Now it’s Femi who strikes Otis with a shoulder tackle. But his opponent doesn’t go down either. Both men collide again and again until Oba surprises Otis with a tremendous flying uppercut. After that, he grabs his opponent and tosses him into the air. Femi prepares to lift him, but quickly changes his mind. "The Ruler" taps his temple, indicating he’ll do something smarter. Oba takes Otis to the top turnbuckle to grab him with less effort and finish him off with a Fall From Grace. 1..2..3.
Winner: Oba Femi
Seth Rollins approaches The Street Profits and Joe Hendry backstage. Rollins “thanks” Montez Ford for allowing Bron Breakker to hit him with the second spear of the night. “Well, Seth, thanks to your past antics with The Vision, no one—and I mean no one—trusts you!” Ford exclaims. Seth knows that’s true. He doesn’t even trust himself. But who cares about that? They all have a common enemy, and that’s The Vision. “Let’s make a deal. I stay out of your way, and you stay out of mine”, says Rollins before walking off.
Ethan Page addresses the fans from the entrance ramp. “All Ego” doesn’t understand why they’re booing him, since he allowed them to see him twice in the same night. In fact, he even put on a suit to receive the ovation he deserves. Ethan reminds everyone that tonight he defeated Penta—a win that keeps him undefeated since his debut, as he also beat another fan favorite, Je’Von Evans. Page reminds them that he just arrived and has already defeated the Intercontinental Champion, whose title will soon be in his hands. Ethan points out that this championship represents excellence in WWE, as it propels superstars to the very top. And that’s exactly what he’ll do. “Soon you’ll hear: AND NEW Intercontinental Champion, ETHAN PAGE!” he exclaims to close this brief promo.
Adam Pearce presents a face-to-face between Asuka and IYO SKY. “The Genius of Sky” acknowledges that Asuka is still her senpai, and despite everything that’s happened between them, she still respects her. IYO didn’t want it to come to this, but Asuka has changed. “The Empress of Tomorrow” makes it clear that it’s SKY who has changed. The woman standing before her is no longer the one she once knew. This woman has done nothing but disrespect her, but at WWE Backlash she will finally be able to remove her from her life once and for all. “I understand, and I’m ready for Asuka”, says SKY. Asuka remains silent. Finally, she leans in close to IYO’s face. IYO does the same—only for her former friend to spit poison mist directly into her face! Pearce rushes back to expel Asuka from the area. “The Empress of Tomorrow” leaves laughing as IYO writhes in pain.
Jackie Redmond interviews Original El Grande Americano and Los Americanos Hermanos at the Gorilla Position. Original El Grande Americano is tired of being attacked by Los Americanos week after week. That’s why he has brought reinforcements, inspired by a good friend of his, Chad Gable, who is still injured. With that said, he promises that on May 30 he will prove that there is only one Grande Americano: The Original El Grande Americano. The three men head to the ring to end the interview.
Six-man tag team match
Los Americanos (El Grande Americano, Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano) vs. Original El Grande Americano and Los Americanos Hermanos (Julio Americano and Bruto Americano)
El Grande Americano throws his cape at Original El Grande Americano to start a brawl. Original El Grande Americano, Julio, and Bruto quickly send their opponents out of the ring. Bravo returns to officially start the match with Bruto. Rayo soon tags in, only to fall into the grasp of Los Americanos Hermanos. Original El Grande Americano gets the tag to continue the punishment. Rayo escapes to tag in El Grande Americano, who stands face-to-face with his archrival.
Original El Grande Americano and El Grande Americano grapple. Bravo and Rayo grab Original El Grande Americano by the legs to pull him out of the ring, allowing El Grande Americano to kick him. Rayo brings Original El Grande Americano back into the ring. Original El Grande Americano quickly escapes Rayo’s grasp to tag in Julio, who delivers suplexes left and right to Los Americanos.
Bravo dodges a corner spear from Julio, who crashes into the turnbuckle. El Grande Americano tags in to punish Julio, locking him in a headlock. Julio escapes with a body drop. El Grande Americano tags Rayo, who prevents Julio from reaching his corner. Rayo and Bravo double-team Julio. Rayo attempts to put Julio to sleep with a sleeper hold, but Julio drops backward onto the mat to break free. Both men crawl to their respective corners to tag in their team leaders.
Original El Grande Americano takes on all three of his opponents at once. Bravo and Rayo prevent him from hitting a German suplex on El Grande Americano—only to end up receiving a double suplex from him instead. The action doesn’t stop. Julio hits a superplex on Rayo, followed by a moonsault from Bruto. El Grande Americano returns to surprise Bruto with a flying headbutt. He then knocks out Julio with an enzuigiri.
El Grande Americano collides with Original El Grande Americano in the center of the ring. Bravo follows up with a frog splash. 1..2..NO. The action continues at ringside, where Julio takes out Rayo with a powerbomb onto the apron. Meanwhile, Original El Grande Americano hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Bravo. Julio and Bruto send El Grande Americano crashing into the barricade to prevent his interference. Original El Grande Americano finishes Bravo with a diving headbutt. 1..2..3.
Winners: Original El Grande Americano and Los Americanos Hermanos
Roman Reigns makes his entrance. “The OTC” heads to the ring, where Adam Pearce awaits. Roman raises the World Heavyweight Championship as fireworks echo throughout the arena. Reigns takes a seat at one end of the table. Adam introduces Jacob Fatu, who quickly makes his way out. “The Samoan Werewolf” sits down. Pearce asks both men to sign the contract to make their match official. “Roman, Roman Reigns!” the fans chant. “No, Pearce. You know how this goes. Omaha, Nebraska—acknowledge me!” Roman exclaims. “OTC! OTC!” chant the fans.
“Do you hear that, Jacob? That’s not just love. That’s the sound of respect”, says Roman. Respect he has earned after more than twelve years in this company. He was the one who opened the door for Solo Sikoa, who in turn brought in Fatu. So in a way, Jacob owes his presence in WWE to Reigns. “And I’ll be damned if I don’t get respect in this business!” he shouts. “OTC! OTC!” chant the fans. Roman believes there should be a code of conduct and honor within WWE’s Samoan family—one everyone can trust. But then “The Samoan Werewolf” applied the Tongan Death Grip—a move from their own family, used only as a desperate measure. Maybe in a bar fight at 3 a.m., not against your own blood. Because by doing that, he also disrespected his “Tribal Chief.”
Fatu admits he is a desperate man. He’s backed into a corner, and that’s why he will take the world championship and everything that comes with it. And once he does, he will squeeze every dollar and every cent out of it, just like the company has done with the Samoan family for decades. Jacob has come too far and refuses to go back to square one. “Yes, Roman, I’m desperate. Desperate enough to do anything for my home—even if it means going through my own blood”, says Fatu. Roman decides he’s heard enough and signs the contract.
Roman points out that he also has many households to take care of, including WWE. “You worry about seven kids? I worry about the 170 people in our family. You worry about a better education? I worry about better education for generations. Because I’m the one who can do that!” Reigns exclaims. “I told Brock a long time ago—this is all mine! This is my ring. And yes, in our family we are equals, we share the same blood. But in this ring, Jacob, you are beneath me”, says Roman.
Furious, “The Samoan Werewolf” tries to lock in a Tongan Death Grip. The champion avoids it by throwing Fatu into a turnbuckle, then hurls a chair at his head. Reigns grabs his championship, ready to strike Jacob, but Fatu once again catches him with the Tongan Death Grip. Once more, Reigns manages to break free and unleashes a barrage of punches in the corner. Roman sets up for a Superman Punch, but Fatu catches him mid-air with the Tongan Death Grip. Fatu sends Roman crashing onto the table, but it doesn’t break. Jacob flips the table onto his cousin before grabbing the Backlash contract. “The Samoan Werewolf” kneels on the mat to sign the document. Fatu stares at Reigns before leaving the ring. Several officials check on “The OTC,” who is still trying to catch his breath. And with that, we reach the end of this episode.
