This afternoon, some media outlets have reported that Tommy End (better known as Aleister Black in WWE and Malakai Black in All Elite Wrestling) was in negotiations with Tony Khan's company for a possible return. Reports that the company has not hesitated to deny, as the specialized media outlet Fightful Select has learned.

"The report indicated that the conversations are taking place regardless of the public version, but currently the public stance is that All Elite Wrestling is denying that such conversations are taking place. There are still more than two months left before his contract with WWE expires and he can join AEW, so anything can happen between now and then. At least on the surface, AEW denies holding conversations with him at this time," Fightful wrote.

Black was one of the talents affected by the recent wave of layoffs carried out by WWE. The departure of the Dutch wrestler occurred just a year after his return to the company, which caught the attention of fans. In addition to this, his controversial departure from AEW, which did not sit well with his fans, must be taken into account. However, a previous report from Fightful claimed that the bridge was not completely burned for the Dutch wrestler in AEW.

The 90-day non-compete clause that Black must respect under his contract does not pose a problem for negotiating with other promotions. This clause will end in late July, at which point he can compete for any other company. Black has more than two months ahead of him to decide his future in professional wrestling. One that could lead him back to All Elite Wrestling.
