AMC and TNA+ aired last night episode number 1138 of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT!, recorded from the Upstate Medical University Arena At The Oncenter War Memorial in Syracuse, New York. The show, the eighteenth of the AMC era, featured several matches and segments of interest, including two title defenses. Noteworthy was Léi Yǐng Lee's victory over Arianna Grace to regain the Knockouts World Championship in the main event of the night.
- Eric Young defeated EC3 in a no disqualification match in the night's opener. Young delivered two consecutive piledrivers on his opponent (one on a table at ringside, followed by another on a metal chair on the canvas) for the victory.
- Gia Miller interviewed Knockouts World Champion Arianna Grace (accompanied by Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo) before her title defense that night. Grace made it clear that the match wouldn't have taken place if it weren't for her father. Lorenzo accused Santino Marella of putting obstacle after obstacle in their way. However, he had no doubt that his fiancée would triumph, hinting that he had a plan in mind. The couple left affectionately, causing nausea to Gia.
- The System as a whole carried out a backstage promo. Brian Myers and Bear Bronson addressed Nic Nemeth and KC Navarro, against whom they would defend the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Bronson was eager to get his hands on them. Cedric Alexander, on his part, couldn't wait to face Leon Slater to defeat him once again. Finally, Eddie Edwards addressed all the men they would face that night, promising that they would all find out that "nobody can beat the system."
- Elayna Black delivered a promo in the ring. Black stated that she is the only woman that matters in the Knockouts division, and everyone knows it. That said, she mentioned there would be a title match in the main event of the night, and for some reason unknown to her, she wasn't part of it. Elayna sent a message to whoever ended up with the title around their waist, making it clear that the gold would end up in her hands. Black claimed to generate more attention and money than any other woman on the roster. And that's what sets her apart from the rest. "I'm not a Knockout. I'm Business", she said.
The Personal Concierge interrupted Black to make it clear that the most beautiful woman in TNA is Ash By Elegance. Ash quickly appeared on the scene to mock Elayna, suggesting she should talk about a topic she knows better than money: plastic surgery. Ash headed into the ring while boasting about having built an empire. One that had made her a millionaire.
Indi Hartwell appeared on the scene to express her shame at the conversation she was witnessing. Hartwell reminded them that a Knockouts World Championship match would be the show's main event, but they preferred to talk about money. Ash taunted Indi, calling her a "poor girl." That said, she referred again to her empire, stating that she only needed to regain the championship to have it all. Hartwell claimed that none of them deserved that title, leading to a new argument with Ash. Black, on her part, decided to disengage from the topic, so she left the ring, not without bumping her shoulder against Hartwell's. Indi tried to confront Elayna, but Ash once again caught her attention. At that moment, Indi accused Ash of being an artificial woman. "Your hair isn't real. Your lips aren't real. Your breasts aren't real!", she exclaimed. Furious, Ash tried to hit Hartwell, but she stopped the attack to respond with a punch. Ash quickly escaped to ringside, where she held her hands to her chest. "Fake, fake, fake!" chanted the fans to mock her. Meanwhile, Black watched the scene with a smile on her face from the entrance ramp.
- A brief segment showed a smiling Daria Rae talking on the phone with an unknown person, assuring them that she had everything under control in TNA.
- The System (Brian Myers and Bear Bronson) (with Eddie Edwards and Cedric Alexander) defeated Nic Nemeth and KC Navarro to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Bear executed a sit-out tombstone piledriver on Navarro for the victory. Eddie Edwards grabbed a microphone to request that their scheduled tag team match for that night take place at that moment. Their opponents quickly made their way to the ring, ready for action.
- Moose and Leon Slater defeated The System (Eddie Edwards and Cedric Alexander) (with Alisha Edwards) in a tag team match. Moose surprised Edwards with a roll-up for the victory.
- The Hardys delivered a video promo directed at The Righteous. Matt Hardy warned Vincent and Dutch that they had made a serious mistake by forcing the return of their Broken versions. "You don't understand the gravity of your situation", he said. "You wanted The Broken Hardys, and you got them", he added. Jeff Hardy sang a song about his alter ego, Brother Nero, before his brother ended the promo with a "DELETE."
- Mike Santana conducted a promo in the ring. The TNA World Champion recalled that his intention has always been to bring TNA back to excellence. And that's exactly what he achieved when he defended the title against Rich Swann two weeks ago. Santana wants to show what it means to be the TNA Champion, claiming to be the heart and soul of the company every night. After his great defense against Swann, he wants to continue providing opportunities for the championship, and he already has a challenger in mind. However, before he could announce his name, Daria Rae interrupted the segment.
Rae reminded Santana that he doesn't book the matches or choose his challengers. That said, she announced a battle royal for next week, with the winner receiving a shot at the TNA World Championship. " You know what, Daria? You're right. I don't make the decisions. They do!" responded the champion, pointing to the crowd. Rae wondered if Mike had understood her decision, so she reminded him again that his next opponent would be decided in a battle royal. Santana assured that none of that mattered to him, as it wouldn't change the final result: him crushing the challenger with his boot to retain his championship. Mike's theme music began playing in the arena, but Rae ordered it to be stopped to play hers. With this symbolic victory of Daria, the segment came to an end.
- AJ Francis carried out a backstage promo. Francis stated that TNA forced him to include Navarro in First Class. A man who has also stolen from him on two occasions, including his victory over Nic Nemeth at Rebellion. That's why now it's his turn to steal something from him: his health. AJ Francis announced that next week he will face Navarro in a Sac Town Street Fight, where he will show him why his business is all about "money money."
- KC Navarro responded to AJ Francis in a promo in the men's locker room. Navarro recalled the eight tough months he was out of action because of his former partner. Eight months in which he got tired of hearing him talk about title opportunities and "money money." Navarro pointed out that he was able to return to action four months earlier than expected thanks to his uncle, and that he doesn't need Nic Nemeth's help to deal with Francis.
- Léi Yǐng Lee defeated Arianna Grace (with Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo) to win the Knockouts World Championship in the night's main event. Lee executed a diving neckbreaker for the victory.
- The show concluded with a brief backstage scene where Moose had been brutally attacked.
