Lucha Libre AAA on FOX May 9, 2026: coverage and results

Lucha Libre AAA and FOX bring us a new show tonight from the Auditorio José María Arteaga in Querétano, Mexico. The event will feature an interesting triple threat match between Lince Dorado, Octagón Jr., and Cruz Del Toro. Additionally, La Catalina will make her in-ring debut in the company. We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists at the venue: La Catalina, Psycho Clown, and Pagano.

Triple Threat Match
Octagón Jr. vs. Cruz Del Toro vs. Lince Dorado

The three men size each other up before the match begins. Del Toro and Octagón Jr. kick Dorado out of the ring with a double dropkick. Octagón Jr. and Cruz take the action to one of the corners. Del Toro knocks down Octagón Jr. to kick him. The fans boo. Del Toro catches Octagón Jr. in an inverted crucifix. Lince returns to interrupt the hold and take control of the match.

The action moves to the apron area. Del Toro throws a punch at Lince. Cruz gains momentum to hit Dorado, but he jumps, causing his opponent to end up ringside. Lince dives with an Asai Moonsault that lands squarely on Del Toro. Dorado brings Cruz back in to dive with a diving crossbody. 1..2..NO. Lince tries to catch him in an armbar, but his opponent doesn't allow him to complete the hold. Del Toro breaks free by delivering a powerbomb. Octagón Jr. returns to surprise both with a screw.

Octagón Jr. surprises Cruz with a hurricanrana before executing a spinning backbreaker on Lince. Octagón Jr. tries to continue his offense on Dorado, but Del Toro pulls him out of the ring. Cruz returns to the ring, only to dive with a screw on Lince. Del Toro goes after Octagón Jr., but he surprises him with a diving crossbody. "This is wrestling!" chant the fans.

The action returns to the ring. Dorado and Octagón Jr. exchange attacks. Lince surprises Octagón Jr. with a handspring stunner. 1..2..NO. Del Toro interrupts the count. The fans boo. The three men exchange attacks in the center of the ring until they end up lying on the mat.

Cruz and Octagón Jr. take the action to the top of one of the corners. Octagón Jr. catches Del Toro to execute a Golden Plex. 1..2..NO. Dorado places Cruz's foot on the bottom rope to interrupt the count. Octagón Jr. kicks Lince, who is sent flying to ringside.

Del Toro kicks Octagón Jr. to leave him hanging upside down in one of the corners. Cruz finishes him off with a Coast to Coast. 1..2..NO. Lince interrupts the count by applying a shooting star press. Del Toro moves aside, causing the attack to hit Octagón Jr. squarely, who rolls to ringside. Cruz tries to surprise Dorado, but it's Dorado who manages to hit him with a brainbuster. 1..2..3.

Winner: Lince Dorado

We move backstage, where Dorian Roldán is about to enter Marisela Peña's office. At that moment, he is surprised by a familiar face. It's Chessman. Roldán is glad to see him after so long, but also wonders what he's doing there. "You'll be seeing me very often. I have an appointment with your mom for the AAA General Direction," Chessman replies. Dorian points out that this selection process is just a formality that his mother must fulfill for the new administration of the company, as everyone knows that position will be his. "Don't even think you have a chance," a confident Dorian says. Chessman laughs. "Excuse me. I'm running late. And you should be the one worried," says Chessman before entering the office.

Jessy Jackson and La Catalina enter the ring to have their match. But before the bell can ring, Flammer interrupts. The Reina de Reinas Champion joins the commentary table.

La Catalina vs. Jessy Jackson

La Catalina and Jackson grapple. Jessy pushes La Catalina before catching her in a submission hold. Jackson takes down the Chilean before hitting her face against the mat. La Catalina recovers to apply two consecutive armdrags to her opponent. La Catalina showcases her agility to surprise Jackson, whom she takes down with a dropkick. Jessy ends up ringside, where she receives the impact of an apron cannonball. La Catalina approaches Marisela Peña to give her a kiss on the cheek. After that, she brings her opponent back into the ring to cover her. 1..2..NO.

Jackson dodges a Hip Attack to respond with a tremendous running meteora. 1...2...NO. Jackson continues to dominate the match. Jessy unleashes a flurry of attacks in one of the corners. La Catalina recovers to launch a counterattack. La Catalina executes a Missile Dropkick, followed by a corner hip attack. 1..2..NO. The Chilean slaps Jackson before going for a running knee strike. Jessy dodges it to respond with a diving clothesline. 1..2..NO.

Jackson crushes La Catalina in one of the corners. The Brit tries to repeat the move, but her opponent stops her with a running knee strike. 1..2...NO. La Catalina drags her rival to one of the corners before seeking height. Jessy makes her fall before executing a running meteora. 1..2..NO. Jackson keeps hitting La Catalina. The Brit prepares to finish her off, but her opponent escapes her clutches to respond with a superkick. The Chilean hits Jackson with a rope hip attack before finishing her off with a diving body splash. 1..2..3.

Winner: La Catalina

La Catalina approaches the ropes to exchange threats with Flammer. She takes off her jacket and shoes, teasing to enter the ring, a moment that La Hiedra and Lady Maravilla take advantage of to enter the scene and attack La Catalina from behind. Flammer soon joins her teammates to launch a three-on-one assault. Suddenly...

Lola Vice storms the scene!

The NXT Champion runs into the ring to attack Las Tóxicas. Lola kicks left and right. However, she ends up succumbing to the numerical superiority of the heels. Lady Maravilla and La Hiedra immobilize "The Miami Mom" for Flammer to knock her down with a clothesline. Las Tóxicas kick the double champion. But then...

Bayley storms the scene!

The fans go wild. "The Role Model" gets rid of Lady Maravilla at ringside before entering the ring. Bayley performs a belly-to-suplex on La Hiedra. Lola knocks out Flammer with a back fist. The Reina de Reinas Champion ends up on the second rope, where she receives the impact of a Rope Hip Attack from La Catalina. The faces celebrate in the ring as Las Tóxicas retreat backstage. This concludes this segment.

It's announced that Galeno will be in action next week.

We see a video recap of what has happened to Psycho Circus in recent months, with its members being eliminated one by one, and with several clues that could point to Pagano as the culprit.

After the video, we see Psycho Clown in the ring. The AAA Tag Team Champion admits he doesn't know what's going on. He has many doubts about it and believes Pagano might have the answers. That's why he asks his partner to join him in the ring. Pagano quickly makes his entrance.

Psycho Clown points out that things haven't been right for weeks. And he's not talking about the championships, but about Pagano himself. His Psycho Circus brothers have been falling one by one, and he can't help but think that the culprit is one of them. Psycho Clown wants to know why Murder had a handkerchief of Pagano's when he found it on the ground. "Look me in the eyes and tell me what's going on, Pagano," demands Psycho Clown.

Pagano can't believe that, after everything they've been through together, Psycho Clown distrusts him. "Do you believe I'm capable of attacking my own brothers?," he asks. Pagano assures that the supposed evidence he found is just a piece of the game organized by the real culprit to sow the seed of doubt among them. But he understands. Pagano believes that Psycho Clown needs to accuse someone, but maybe he should look in the mirror. Visibly moved, Pagano makes it clear that he's not the kind of person who would betray his own family. Pagano tries to hug Psycho Clown, but he doesn't allow it. Psycho Clown leaves the ring, only to be called back by his partner. "When the truth comes out, you'll know I was never on the wrong side, bro," says Pagano.

Suddenly, The War Raiders surprise Psycho Clown from behind! Erik and Ivar launch an assault on Psycho Clown on the entrance ramp. Pagano quickly comes to his partner's rescue. Pagano manages to make the WWE superstars step back. Psycho Clown stands up to place his hand on his partner's shoulder, but now it's he who doesn't allow him to touch him. Pagano silently walks backstage. Psycho Clown does the same, but in a different direction. And so we reach the end of this week's episode.
