WWE already has two confirmed title matches for its next Saturday Night's Main Event, which will take place on May 23rd in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The company has officially announced that Penta will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page and that The Vision will defend the World Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits.
The rivalry for the tag team titles took shape on Raw, when The Street Profits made it clear they were going after the belts in the opening segment of the show. Later, after Seth Rollins' interference and the distraction caused during the match, Angelo Dawkins secured the victory for his team over Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory.
In the case of Penta and Ethan Page, the opportunity arose after Page argued that he deserved a title shot for having defeated the champion the previous week. Penta even offered to defend the title immediately, but Page preferred to save the match for the special event and accepted the challenge for May 23rd.
The event will take place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and will be part of WWE's series of live specials for the end of May. With two defenses already confirmed, the card is starting to take shape for a night that will combine two very different stories, but both with gold on the line.
