Cuatrero was arrested in March 2023 after being reported by his partner, WWE superstar Stephanie Vaquer, who claimed to have been forced, strangled, and thrown against a wall by her attacker. As a result, Vaquer allegedly suffered a fractured trachea. Apparently, the argument between Cuatrero and Stephanie originated from the breakup of the couple. Once the report was filed, Cuatrero was arrested for attempted femicide.

Today, reporter Antonio Nieto shared an update on the case, informing that Cuatrero has been sentenced by a judge to 12 years and 8 months in prison for attempted femicide and domestic violence. Currently, the wrestler is out on bail.

After being arrested in March 2023, Cuatrero remained in prison for two years. The wrestler was released on bail in March 2025. Two months ago, Cuatrero resumed his professional activity as a free agent in the Mexican independent scene. So far, he has competed in 13 shows, sharing the ring with talents like Belcegor, Cibernético, and Galeno Del Mal. It is expected that his two years in prison will be deducted from the sentence.

On the other hand, Stephanie Vaquer has fulfilled her dream of competing in WWE, also becoming one of the fastest-rising superstars in the company in the last decade. Currently, she is in a romantic relationship with NXT superstar Myles Borne.
