Tatum Paxley will defend her title against Lizzy Rain at the upcoming WWE NXT

Tonight, WWE celebrated a new edition of NXT, which featured various matches and standout segments. Additionally, during the show, the first matches for next week were confirmed, including two matches where the brand's championships will be on the line.

The first of them will be for the Women's North American Championship, where the champion Tatum Paxley will face the newcomer Lizzy Rain. Both teamed up tonight to defeat the duo of Zaria and Nikkita Lyons; furthermore, this match will mark Rain's first title opportunity in the brand.

The other title match will be for the Tag Team Championships, where The Vanity Project will face the members of DarkState. Tonight, Jackson Drake defeated Noam Dar and, as he celebrated with his partners and Myka Lockwood, the lights in the arena went out to make way for the appearance of Darkstate, who made their intentions clear to go after the gold.

Additionally, following the chaos during the contract signing tonight, the imposing Mason Rook will team up with Kam Hendrix to take on the NXT champions, Myles Borne and Tony D'Angelo, in an intense tag team match next week.
